Boost Your Health with GarlicAIM Garlic has been recognized as a superfood with its association for many health benefits – from fighting a cold to lowering blood lipid levels. Several studies have shown that garlic and garlic supplements may have positive effects on maintaining cardiovascular and immune health. AIM’s latest nutritional supplement – GarlicAIM – provides a unique combination of three types of garlic: garlic bulb dry extract, bear garlic leaf, and garlic bulb powder from fermented black garlic, which are traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help boost cardiovascular health. Key medicinal ingredients per daily recommended dose (3 vegan capsules): ules): • Garlic bulb dry extract (Allium sativum) (510 mg) standardized to contain n 1% of allicin, which is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. es. • Bear garlic leaf (Allium ursinum) (492 mg) – this alpine wild garlic leaf contains allicin and its related forms – gamma-glutamyl peptides es and adenosine. Gamma-glutamyl peptides may have the effect on increasing the measurement across the membrane of vascular smooth ooth muscle resulting in a widening of blood vessels that helps maintain healthy blood pressure. Adenosine may help reduce blood stickiness. ss • Garlic bulb powder from fermented black garlic (90 mg) – the fermentation process alters the nutritional aspects, resulting in higher antioxidant levels and a probiotic presence in garlic.

Recommended uses: • Helps maintain cardiovascular health and reduce elevated blood lipid levels in adults. • Helps relieve the symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections.

Key Benefits: • Boosts heart and cardiovascular health – evidence from recent review and analysis suggests garlic has several immune-enhancing properties and has the potential to improve cardiovascular health on many levels. Garlic supplements have a high safety profile and are generally well-tolerated, which may be considered for cardiovascular health. • Offers immune support – traditionally, garlic is used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve the symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections and nasal congestion. In a study, 146 participants were assigned to receive either a placebo or a garlic supplement (with 180 mg allicin content) daily for 12 weeks throughout the winter. The garlic group experienced fewer colds compared to the placebo group, and recovery was faster. • Supports gut health – garlic function as a prebiotic, food for good bacteria in the gut that is tied to immunity. A study evaluated the prebiotic effectiveness of garlic fructan, one of the major components in garlic. The component was found to selectively stimulate the growth of beneficial Bifidobacteria from human fecal microflora.
