The Bharat Scouts and Guides is known for the quality education we provide to the youth of the country to make our mother land the best in the world. Founding members of our movement made efforts to establish a centrally located National Training Centre at Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh which was a centre of education of Indian Armed Forces. Our Second National Commissioner Justice Vivian Bose was attached to the Satpura ranges as an adventure lover and a scout leader. On 11th September, 1956 our dream came true with laying of the Foundation of our National Training Centre by Dr. Rajendra Prasad the First President of India and our Patron in Chief. I am happy to note that the National Headquarters is utilizing the latest technologies in creating a web portal to train unit leaders of our movement. This experiment of multi mode online and offline combination will not only reduce the days one has to spent away from their work places but will also make the training more relaxed and reachable to the people living in far end of the country. The National Headquarters of our association has always been taking advantage of the projects and programs of Government of India and international agencies alike, our efforts to create a peaceful world and environment friendly habits in our members are admired all over the world. The Karnataka State unit under the dynamic leadership of Shri P.G.R. Sindhia took an initiative to make environment friendly Ganesh idols in connection with the Ganesh Chaturti festival on 10th September 2021 throughout the state of Karnataka. This initiated a permanent impact on the environment and also created an opportunity for our youth to create an impact in their families and societies.
