Tori Turner is a native of New Orleans, LA. Tori’s claim to fame was becoming a published author at the young age of 13 years old. Tori wrote her first book; an inspirational memoir, “When I Decided to D.R.E.A.M. BIG” and secured a publishing deal with Atlanta, GA based Delphine Publications. She then went on to start her own publishing company (Reign Drop Teen Publications) and released the first title of her series: “Teen Queens: All Is Fair In Love & Pageants” in August 2014. Tori’s 1st title was picked up by Essence Festival, and Tori was named a 2013 Essence Festival Featured Author. She has appeared on BET, Centric, Essence Magazine, Ebony Magazine, Black Enterprise Magazine and all major local news networks. This literary work also garnered nominations for AALAS Awards in Best In Non Fiction and Break-Out Author of the Year. In 2012 Miss Black Louisiana USA Talented Teen, Tori was awarded the National Miss Black USA Talented Teen Service Award which is given to the national delegate that has done the most in her community and beyond. During her reign, Tori called teens to action through community service/volunteerism and youth entrepreneurship, inspiring them to be the change that they want to see in their communities. Tori was also named the 2013 Miss Teen Louisiana International. Tori founded the Tori Turner’s D.R.E.A.M. BIG Foundation at 12 years old with a mission of supporting the dreams of youth around the state of Louisiana. Her foundation was birthed through her dream of becoming a professional actress, model and entertainer. Her foundation issued thousands in scholarships to deserving youth as well as partnered with several other philanthropic organizations in and around New Orleans with her “Calling Teens to Action” campaign. This
campaign garnered national attention and won Tori the title of BET 365 Black Youth Community Service Awardee and a scholarship through the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund. Using this scholarship Tori went on to attend North Carolina A&T State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Mass Media Production. While attending NC A&T, Tori served as the editor of “the Scene” school newspaper as well as student government Senior Treasurer. Tori is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Marketing from Louisiana State University at Shreveport.

LEXI FAITH TURNER Alexia Faith “Lexi” Turner was born and partly raised in New Orleans, LA before her family relocated to Atlanta, GA. Lexi graduated high school at John McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA where she ran for the cross country and track & field team. In 2021, Lexi was named top cross country runner for her school. Lexi is a current Freshman at Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama, where she is a scholar athlete majoring in business administration with a marketing concentration. She competes on both the school’s cross country and track and field teams. In her first collegiate championship she was named in the top 25 for the state. Lexi was also voted Miss XC Track & Field for Miles College homecoming court 2022.. Lexi started her entrepreneurial journey at the tender age of 7 by participating in National Lemonade Day. After loving this experience Lexi went on to launch Lexi’s Lemonade and Cupcakes Couture. She is an aspiring chef and culinary entrepreneur who hopes to open restaurants around the world. In 2016 she was named Louisiana’s Miss Black Louisiana USA Junior Teen. Lexi is the youngest of two siblings to parents Noble & Kim Evans and Jimmie R. Turner Jr.
