GM’S MESSAGE Dear Members, The festive season is upon us. I am pleased to present your guide to the festive celebrations at the Club. Be prepared to tantalise your tastebuds with scrumptious traditional festive food offerings. The Club has also planned a lineup of activities for everyone ensuring you and your family have an unforgettable Christmas with us this year. Please refer to this guide to help you in your planning for this festive season as well as for your purchases of the yuletide goodies. Soak in the merry season and indulge in the splendid offerings that we have lined up. Pamper your loved ones with special gifts and British Christmas hampers packed with the best goodies from the UK this festive season at The Windsor Shop. For the first time this year, we have special Banquet and Catering deliveries so you can have a hassle-free Christmas this season! For the ladies, gather around for a traditional Christmas lunch in our Pre-Christmas Ladies Luncheon on Wednesday, 11 November. The Annual Wine Affair on Friday, 13 November is where you can get to sample wines and stock up your wine collections. There are over 150 labels to choose from and available at a very favourable prices. Start your Pre-Christmas celebrations at the Mountbatten Room, Verandah Cafe and Scores from Friday, 4 December to Wednesday, 23 December with your yuletide favourites. Indulge in the delectable traditional festive cuisine in Mountbatten Room’s Christmas Eve 5-course dinner, Christmas Day Champagne Brunch at The Elizabeth Suite and New Year’s Day Hangover Brunch at The Windsor Arms. Bookings are now open! What is Christmas without some shopping? For the third year in the running, we are bringing you the Christmas Bazaar on Tuesday and Wednesday, 17 and 18 November. The doors are open to one and all! Watch out for an exciting showcase of fashion accessories, children’s wear, home accessories and many other exciting bargains. Join us in our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and sing Christmas carols over mince pies and mulled wine on Monday, 23 November. On the first two Saturdays of December, bring your children to the Club and get a photo taken as Father Christmas makes his way to the Club. This year we will also be bringing you the ever popular Christmas Pantomime – Sleeping Beauty on Sunday, 6 December at The Elizabeth Suite.

Take a break from the Christmas preparation, put on your sparkles and walk into the wintery night with fabulous entertainment and live DJ in our Ladies Night: Sparkle in a Winter Wonderland on Wednesday, 9 December. Savour a traditional 3-course Christmas Dinner with free flow wines for the evening. This New Year’s Eve, prepare yourself for a memorable night as we usher in 2016 with two exhilarating parties for you to choose from! We have a Wild, Wild, West Cowboys and the Little Red Indians themed party at the Verandah Café with a fabulous buffet dinner and fantastic entertainment. If that is not enough, sail the high seas with us and cruise into 2016 in our New Year’s Eve Gala Ball: Set Sail on Board HMS Queen Victoria in style and elegance!
