ell…that escalated quickly. seems like it was just daytona Bike Week and there were only a few little events going on around the Carolinas. NOW, look at the Cruisin’ Calendar, it’s blown up! We are back to dozens of events each weekend, bike nights, and it’s rally season in the Carolinas! We will be out at Outer Banks Bike Week at the end of April. If you like riding the coastline, checking out vendors, fine dining, cold beers, bikini contests, midget wrestling, live music and more then you may want to join us out there April 19-27. We are hosting a Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine Bike Show on April 26th at OBX H-D. It’s a free show and the best parking spot on the lot, so come check us out.
Springers Bar is back on the cover for April. It’s their 5th anniversary of slinging beers and cold drinks to bikers in Greensboro, NC. They throw some pretty good parties and host a Tuesday night bike night with $100 cash to the best bike on the lot. They are also hosting a benefit reverse raffle on April 12th and their anniversary party on April 26th. Totally worth the ride, while they are throwing good ol biker parties they also support their community and stand behind our veterans. It’s a good group over there, I tell ya. Congrats Jeff Schmid for keeping that fine establishment going for these past 5 years…cheers to 5 more, at least! Are you planning for Myrtle Beach Bike Week yet? If not, you are behind on the time! We have started gathering The Full Throttle Magazine Bike Week Hot Spots and have the first group of them near this months centerfold. Check em out and make sure to come down and hang out with us at bike week! We are putting on TWO bike shows this year at bike week. The 4th Annual Bike Show at Bubba’s Bar and Grill in Myrtle Beach will be on Saturday May 17. We are kicking off a CHOPPER & ANTIQUE SHOW this year on Wednesday, May 14th at Barnacle Bills in Murrells Inlet. They are both FREE bike shows to enter and have cool prizes too! Come on down and hang out with the Full Throttle Crew and party with us!
Ride ‘Em, Don’t Hide ‘Em!
pringers is one of those bars in the motorcycle community that you just get attached to. They have their regular crowd that swells with weekend events and bike night. But once you pull into a parking spot and pull up a bar stool, you become family. The big wooden square bar sits a dozen or more patrons and you can snag a drink of your choice. Springers boasts full ABC permits and may even have some cold YooHoo’s stashed around there too. Bike night is Tuesday night and when the weather is right, the porch is parked full of bikers hanging around their bikes havin’ a few cold drinks. Ya never know if a guitar or two will pop out and you’ll be treated to an acoustic jam. Owner Jeff Schmid is known to throw $100 cash at the “Best Bike On The Lot” on bike night as well.
Live music is a normal occurrence too. Springers has a large dance floor, built in sound board, stage lights and is known to bring in the biggest local acts you can boogie down too or just sit around and tap your toe. Springer’s is open 7 days a week. Monday through Thursday from 2:00pm till 12:00am with Bike night on Tuesday, Karaoke & pool tournaments on Wednesday, free pool on Thursday. Friday and Saturday they are open 12pm2:00am with live music. Sundays at Springers, Jeff hosts a weekly ride. Folks gather, go out for a ride and end up back at Springers later in the evening and have some chow. Speaking of chow…If you ever hear that Jeff is cooking, stop what you are doing and head to Springers. The man knows his way around a smoker, grill, flat top or whatever he has at the bar and puts out a mean spread. If people are still hanging around on nights that they close at midnight Springer’s will stay open til 2am, and
that happens often! Jeff and his staff work hard to promote what Jeff likes to call “Recess With Alcohol”! Basically, what I’m saying is, Springers is the destination biker bar in Greensboro, NC.
If you are at Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, you can hang with the Springers crowd as well! Friday, May 16 at 5pm Jeff throws a party at The Pilot House in Little River, SC. Make sure you wear your Springers gear and come have a blast at this local pub by the waterway! At Springers Pilot House party, anyone wearing Springers shirts or hats get beers on Jeff’s tab from 4 till 6pm. It’s a nice ride up from Myrtle and always a good time!
Springers is also a huge supporter of the local community. Jeff hosts or organizes dozens of rides every year to benefit local bikers, friends, first responders and veterans. Definitely Veterans. In fact, Jeff and Springers have been in the top tier for donations supporting the Triad Honor Flight since it began. Toy runs, yeah, Springers does a huge Toy Run and toy collection each year supporting the Marine Corp. Toys For Tots Program. Jeff and the Springers crew ride on a dozen more local toy runs too, to make sure that they all get support. Currently Springers is hosting a Reverse Raffle Fundraiser on April 12th to Benefit Michelle Stoots, Radar’s wife, who is currently
battling cancer. They are raffling off a 2003, 100th Anniversary SuperGlide at $100 per ticket. Dinner is at 6:30 with the raffle at 7pm, followed by live music. Then make sure you come out for Springers 5th Anniversary Party on April 26th! They have Brother Pearl rocking the stage, the parking lot will be full of bikes and I know there will be a great spread of food! See what I’m saying? Springers is the place for Community, Veterans, Cold Drinks & Good Times.
Ride over there and find out for yourself! Springers is located at 405 Rocky Knoll Rd. Greensboro, NC.

know some really cool guys who build and race some really cool bikes. They show me those machines as they are being created from parts around the shop. That fresh new engine on a stand is going in that rusty old frame in the corner.
Over the months, I smile as I see a bike come together. Machines that make me say, Wow!, often are in a shop in Maiden, North Carolina. Between Charlotte and the mountains is a shop that makes bikes from all over the country go a whole lot faster and shift better. But it is the original creations of Micheal Beland that stand out as Wow Machines.
Mike has owned and run an independent shop A1 Cycles for almost 30 years. I got to know him when he took the American Motorcycle Racing Association’s Top Fuel Championship in 2016. He grew up in rural Western Massachusetts, as an active guy. Soon after high school, joined the U.S. Marine Corp, serving for six years. After a few years working on cars and trucks at a dealership, Mike started his own business, A1 Cycles. For several years he enjoyed the South Florida sunshine in West Palm Beach growing the reputation of A1 Cycles.
Now he has a large, well-equipped shop on land in a great location. On Highway 16 between Newton and Charlotte, you can get to A1 Cycles quickly from anywhere in the Western Carolinas.
A1 Cycles is known for their M-8 Power Packages. Mike
and the crew build some big inch seriously powerful motors. Stock, your bike rolls in the door with about 80 horsepower and 100 foot pounds of torque. It roars out of the shop with 130 horsepower and 150 foot pounds of torque.
Harley Bagger Drags are realy popular these days and few people can consistently beat the bikes coming out of A1 Cycles. A whole bunch of Big Bad Ass Harleys will be putting on a great show during A1 Cycles Cash Days 3 at Shadyside Dragway, Shelby, NC, April 25-26.
Mike may have a long reputation for building some cool customs and race bikes, but this Shovelhead Vintage Drag Bike has had me saying, Wow, every time I saw it. I dig Shovels and have a couple. Y’all know I love old drag bikes.
For the S&S Vintage Tour 2025, Mike and A1 Cycles were one of six builders selected to build bikes with old style engines.
“S&S is getting back in the old-style engine market and reducing the prices on their Knucklehead, Panhead and Shovelhead motors,” Mike said. “So, they chose six builders from around the country with all different styles to build bikes that go on tour with S&S this year. They will be hauled in the tractor trailer and setup and displayed all around the country for a whole year. We get the bike back after a year.”
I’ve been drooling on the floor of Mike’s shop for a few
months seeing this Shovelhead motor go from the stand to in the frame. This is a pretty engine to me. It’s a brand new S&S modern Shovelhead too. Not some old motor and not a race motor either. Basic S&S Shovelhead. There it was in a vintage frame on the lift next to Mike’s current Top Fuel Harley.
“This engine is 93 inches and 9 to 1 compression. It has a modern Evo oiling system through the pushrod tubes, so no little oil lines. It uses a modern pressed-together, three-piece crankshaft with heavy flywheels and modern pistons. Still has the hemi combustion chambers. Everything is new, not a bunch of beat up old junk,” Mike said.
There was no direction from S&S for Mike to build race style. But come on y’all, that’s what I wanted to see. It was do whatever you want to do with the engine. So that means six different styles for sure.
Mike built a really cool machine. He put a Shovelhead engine in a legit old drag race frame and gave it his modern upgrades. Too Cool Y’all.
“I really wanted to do a late 1970’s early 80’s style frame. We ended up getting one from Ohio from a former racer. It’s a Bonnie Truett frame. It’s called a tanker since obviously the backbone of the frame is the gas tank. It’s a very iconic piece of motorcycle drag racing history. Probably made in the late 1970’s,” he said.
In case y’all don’t know who Bonnie Truett was. He was one of the pioneers of Harley-Davidson Drag Racing and performance. He sold some of the first stroker kits for folks who wanted more than 74 inches. Knowledgeable about every part of a race bike, he also built some of the best frames back then. Mike found the coolest possible frame he could for that new Shovel motor.
Mike said the frame was rough with old additions and repairs and crappy welds from who knows who and when years ago.
“We cut fifty years of bad welding and bad decisions out of it to start. Pigeon Poop welding everywhere,” he said. “We had to cut open and clean out the fuel tank. We fixed all that and cut out old transmission mounts and installed ones to fit a modern 1991 and up. We used a modern five speed and starter with belt drive too with the old motor.”
Mike built a period-correct aluminum tail section and local shop Mean City Cycles made a nice seat for the S&S folks who are going to be posing on it this summer.
“Brocks V-Twin set me up with the brand new 2025 carbon fiber Hyabusa wheels. They weigh five pounds in the front and seven pounds to the rear. We put some drag race slicks on them. Mark at Hawg Halters got us some six piston billet front brake calipers with radial mounts on 2023 Hayabusa forks.
Thanks, Boosted Brad at Death Metal Racing for the mid controls.” Modern race machine front and rear with vintage in the middle.
Snipes Machine, Robert Snipes, laid a sparkly 1970’s Red paint on the frame and tail section once Mike had it right and ready. Oh man, this bike and the paint pops in the sun.
Back to that beautiful Shovelhead engine. Mike is known worldwide as a Turbo Harley Guru. Wanna make lots of horsepower from a modern Milwaukee-Eight engine, then he is the man to see. I love how he kept this project traditional with a modern turbo.
“This is an old school way of doing a turbo. It’s a drawthrough setup. The turbo goes directly onto the intake manifold, and it draws air through the carburetor. See we don’t have to worry about pressurizing the carburetor bowl or blades, trying to equalize to the boost pressure. We are drawing through the carburetor so there are no drawbacks to this system,” Mike said.
That’s a Big Ole S&S Super E Shorty. And that velocity stack, that is just the right size and look, is an old Lil John Buttera piece. Chris “Fastlane” Rasile, another Carolina Harley Drag Racer, had it in his stash of old parts.
The Comp Turbo is the same as Mike uses in the drag bikes. No oil nor water lines needed either since this turbo has a grease fitting and modern bearings. This custom machine is rideable.
The hot side of the turbo was done by Hindes Designs, Zach Hindes, from Iron Station. Mike said he is a master fabricator and welder of exhaust systems.
A BDL Belt Drives, LTD; primary connects the engine to a modern five-speed transmission.
If you want to see this cool Vintage Shovel Drag Bike and that Ruby Red paint that shines like Dorothy’s Shoes, then check it out on the S&S Vintage Tour 2025. This bike and the five others will be on display at the S&S Trailer at major events this year.

own home harley-davidson spent the winter riding season making some positive updates and came into 2025 with a game plan. The new management team wanted to blow the roof off with a huge event season kickoff party and came up with Burlington Bike Week(end). The date was set for March 14-16 and the planning started.
The weekend kicked off on Friday March 14th with beautiful weather and a kickoff party. The weather was just right, and bikes rolled in to hang out. Lisa Kyle and the Lost Souls were on the ticket to rock in the event for the weekend. The dealership was open and kicking and outside the parking lot was full of vendors, food trucks and BIKES! It was bike night at Down Home and the stage was set for one hell of a bike week(end).
Saturday was supposed to be a beautiful day, but as it goes, mother nature can be unpredictable. The weather guessers were a bit off, and I woke up to heavy fog and mist. No worries, Saturday was gonna be an all day affair, so I figured I’d let this fog burn off then ride on over. By noon, the fog was still hanging around, it wasn’t quite as wet, but it had not burned off! Oh well, I’m not willing to miss out on a good time cause of a little cloud sweat. I adjusted my gear and threw on some chaps and hauled ass to Burlington. I avoid highways when possible and the route to Burlington is Hwy 62, a nice two lane ride through the country. Halfway there the mist died out and it was just overcast. Truthfully, I figured the overcast day was gonna keep the crowd down, but man I was wrong. I rolled up on Down Home Harley-Davidson at 1pm and the parking
had already overflowed to the street. Even if there wasn’t any parking, I was gonna roll through and survey the lay of the land. I happened to catch someone riding out and snagged their parking spot. Don’t mind if I do!
This place was hoppin’. The rumble of Harley’s rolling through mixed with the hum of food truck generators and folks hootin’ and hollerin’ with their friends. It wasn’t long before I found a gaggle of my friends and the party was on! We were dogging on some baggers and checking out some cool choppers while we watched the motorcycle parade in the parking lot. It was St. Patrick’s Day weekend and one of the beer vendors was pouring some pretty popular green beers. No matter where you’re from everyone is a little Irish that weekend…unless your Scottish, then your just Scottish. The vendors were slinging their wares too. Patches were being sold and sewed on. There were a couple jewelry tents with cool biker rings and such. 81 had some support gear set out. Steve’s Leather had come over with a big set up of leathers even though their brick and mortar is just across the street. Jet-Hot was out there with their performance coating displays and I was over there just tryin not to go broke! They say there was a “bike showcase” going on in the parking lot and while I never saw an official showcase, that place was packed with killer rides. Around 2pm Black Pearl Band cranked up the day’s entertainment. These guys were cranking out hits from the 70’s and 80’s and hit all the notes. The sun finally broke through the clouds around 4pm and some of the crowd gathered for a group photo taken from the roof of the dealership.
Sunday the weather was supposed to be bad. A line of storms and high wind were to hit the area in the morning.
Guess what? That line came through earlier than expected and the day turned out to be pretty nice. Weather guessers were wrong again. It was the final day of Burlington Bike Week(end) and the HOG group was serving up pancake breakfast in the morning. Lisa Kyle was back on the mic and was in charge of a “hangover set”. Some of the vendors had stuck around and the CMA was there to do a blessing of the bikes. Huge thanks to Aly, Darren and all the staff at Down Home Harley-Davidson who fought the elements and all the other unknowns to throw a killer party for us bikers. There is a fresh perspective over in Burlington and we are looking forward to more good times at Down Home Harley-Davidson, home of the warranty protection for life! Keep yer eye on the Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine Crusin’ Calendar for more events or just roll in and see what they have going on! See ya there.
n april 20th christians around the world will celebrate Easter or better said, Resurrection Sunday. The Old Testament contains over 300 prophecies concerning the birth, life, death and most importantly the resurrection of the Messiah.
Resurrection Sunday is the completion of the final prophecy concerning the Messiah. 100% of Old Testament prophecy happened exactly when, where and how it was prophesized. We have more historical evidence concerning Jesus and details of his life than plenty of other historical events accepted as factual truth.
There are an increasing number of historical discoveries each year from secular sources providing additional support for both the bible and the gospel of Jesus. Several years back the Smithsonian Institute included a short paragraph in a 70+ page white paper stating the bible is as accurate a historical document as any in existence today.
We can trust the bible as the true and infallible word of God. The foundation of Christianity is celebrated this month with the resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ just as was predicted.
Luke 24:6-7 He is not here but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and
be crucified, and the third day rise again.
What is the significance of the phrase “He is Risen?” Jesus defeated the grave, and his resurrection was witnessed by over 500 people over a period of 40 days. James’s mention is important as he was Jesus brother but did not believe he was the Messiah until he met him after his resurrection.
1 Corinthians 15:3-8 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James, then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
Jesus sacrifice on the cross brings salvation for anyone who will confess and repent of their sins and invite Jesus into their life as Lord & Savior. We can never do enough good or by any means earn our entry into heaven. Only through our relationship with Jesus will we ever enter heaven.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If you have never accepted Jesus as your savior, please make this most important decision today. There are many good churches, motorcycle ministries or Christian riders available to provide any assistance you may need here. Nothing would make them happier.
Blessings, Floyd
HoneyBun and I left the house July 28th and arrived back home September 2nd. We traveled through 19 states and 4 provinces, with a temperature range from as low as 39.2°F to as high as 116.6°F.
Total miles: 7,851.6!

he day started early; we left three rivers, ca with The Grand Canyon, South Rim, as our destination for the night. Willow’s odometer (our 2016 Indian Roadmaster) clicked over 5,300 miles of this epic journey, so far. We stopped for coffee at Tehachapi, then back on the blacktop, zipping by olive trees and scruffy palms, fields of solar panels, pumpjacks, wind turbines and sprawling ranches. I’m not sure if I understood just how long the day would be. There was about four hours between fill-ups (and potty breaks) but we began to stop more often, not only to top up the tank but more so to replace our electrolytes. Apparently, I was getting cranky, probably from some form of dehydration. How did My HoneyBun know? I was just minding my own business back there, on The Bitch Pad. It got to a whopping 116.6 degrees Fahrenheit and we were in full leathers! I drenched my dew rag in water and put it back on my head just like that, but the moisture evaporated in no time. Our light cotton underclothes were crusty with salt residue. TMI? I literally got lost in the picturesque beauty of the desert, taking several hundred pictures! We passed many has-been towns littered along the way. The desert felt lonely and barren, with no visible wildlife. The sparse traffic flowed easily along the well-maintained highways, which we appreciated very much. We got on Nipton Road in the Mohave National Preserve, which became Joshua Tree Highway after crossing into Nevada, a sketchy two-lane, dilapidated route but with drop-dead scenery. I didn’t know that there was an actual “Joshua Tree”, I just thought it was a cool name for one of U2’s albums. What can I say? Oh, and don’t get too close to the tree’s dagger-like spines, especially if you are an accident waiting to happen like I am!
It rained just outside Laughlin, NV but the droplets evaporated before hitting the pavement. Insane! We sped by abandoned adobes and dry riverbeds, with mesas off in the distance. It was also the first time that I experienced road

heat mirage trickery, which was pretty cool. I’m not sure but I think I took a few catnaps along the way. Seems I missed a few sites. We hardly noticed the subtle increase in elevation as we approached The Grand Canyon; good thing the signs along the way kept us informed. After passing a herd of elk standing majestically on the side of the road, we arrived at our hotel just before sunset, tired and famished. We spent the next
day exploring the Grand Canyon, which was truly overwhelming, and stayed for another night. As always, pictures don’t do it justice. Somewhere along the way, I lost the thin rubber portion on the bottom of my shit kickers (maybe it melted off?), so I sounded like a pony clip-clopping along.
Off to Albuquerque the next day, with Meteor Crater, the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert as our designated stops.
This part of our leg was like being transported to another planet. Meteor Crater is just under a mile across and 560 ft deep, created 50,000 years ago. The visitor center is a great spot that provides guided tours, videos, a sandwich bar and spiffy biffies. I didn’t do any research before we left home regarding these sites, so when we drove through the Petrified Forest, it was a complete surprise. What seemed to be clumps of rocks scattered here and there were actually trees, or should I say, “fossils” over 200 million years old. Then, add the red and lavender backdrop of the badlands of the Painted Desert, mindboggling! I encourage you to make the trip out this way. New tires were on the menu so we spent two nights in Albuquerque, New Mexico’s largest city. Interestingly, there seemed to be a storm brewing on the horizon all day long, with no results; some rain would have been nice. We had no wheels so we hung out at the pool, which was definitely not a hardship. And, the icing on the cake was a microbrewery called Nexus right next door, which as it turns out, was given the thumbs up from Guy Fieri himself (Diners, Drive-ins & Dives). He recommended the Southern fried chicken, which was so delicious, I had it two nights in a row. The chef called his cuisine “New Mexican Soul Food”. At this point, we’d been “away” for what seemed like forever and I didn’t know what day it was, not that it mattered.
We picked up the bike with brand-new rubber, ready for the final leg of our journey…

f it’s performance you are looking for, it’s moonshine Horsepower that you need. Specializing in the Harley-Davidson M8 engine, Jamie Lima of Moonshine Horsepower has planted his flag as an industry leader in the last 6 years. Jamie originated as a motorcycle mechanic and then switched over to H-D sales around 2009. It didn’t take him long to become a sales manager and bring several southeastern Harley-Davidson dealerships to their peak sales. Jamie ended up becoming a GM before settling in Tennessee as partner at Harley-Davidson of Cool Springs. In 2017 Jamie saw the opportunity to begin developing performance parts for the newly introduced M8 engine. “The Twin Cam at that point had been around for 20 years and everyone had cool parts for them. No one had anything out for the M8’s so the playing field was even”, Jamie said. Jamie’s persistence and drive led him to take full control of the dealership and rebrand it as Moonshine Harley-Davidson in 2019. At that point, Jamie took all his Harley-Davidson knowledge paired it with his motorcross and drag racing background and started building a team that would produce Moonshine Horsepower bringing out the best of the M8 engine. “I have a vision of what I need to have happen and it’s not solely me or my team, it’s the team we have incorpo-
rated around us” Jamie said.
Jamie and his team at Moonshine Horsepower started with enhancing the M8 displacement, “In 2018 we were doing 135’s, 139, 143’s, really larger cubic inch engines” Jamie explained. That led them to their first Moonshine Horsepower product, The Monster Head. The Monster Head was the first head that was introduced to the M8’s that took the port design and made it a lot larger. “We were doing some motor math, and we realized that the bore was wanting more valve area, and the port was an issue because Harley has a gasket for an intake manifold and the gasket is what is limiting all of the high performance parts guys.” Jamie teamed up with Frankenstein Engine Dynamics for an exclusive deal to develop Moonshine Horsepower’s parts plans into reality. “That head propelled the Harley-Davidson M8 platform to higher horsepower. That head really put us on the map”.
Now, Moonshine Horsepower was a player in the performance game. Starting with heads then moving on to pistons and cylinders, camshafts and more parts. They have expanded to air cleaner kits, exhaust and basically anything on a Harley that will add more power or make them more efficient. A quick look at the Moonshine Horsepower page on MoonShineHarley.com will show you all their available parts and even some apparel that you will need too.
Alright, cool stuff, eh? It gets better. Fast forward to 2025, Jamie and Moonshine Horsepower are coming to Winston-Salem, NC. You don’t have to order off the website cause now your Moonshine Horsepower HQ will be at Smokin’ Harley-Davidson. Jamie recently acquired the long standing Winston-Salem dealership and is building a new team with some familiar faces.
Jamie added, “We’ve been looking for a second dealership for quite some time now and with Winston-Salem being the home of NASCAR, having racing history, some of the vendors we use are in Mooresville, so it just fits good”. Moonshine Horsepower parts are in-stock and the report from the parts counter is that they are flying off the shelf. Soon enough there will be a Moonshine Horsepower department in the dealership too. In fact, Jamie and the Moonshine Horsepower crew have some new products that will be coming out very soon to give you even more horsepower. Smokin’ Harley-Davidson is already equipped with an in-house Dyno machine, so they are fully
equipped to dial your bike in and make sure it’s running to its potential with all the performance goodies that you added.
One of the advantages to having Moonshine Horsepower inside of the dealership is that pick out your bike, pick out your Moonshine Horsepower build and get it all financed through Harley-Davidson financial. It’s a one stop shop! “You can get all your stuff built into the bike the day you get it, that’s what makes our brand so powerful” Jamie added. Naturally it’s not a problem to upgrade your existing bike either, just come on down to Smokin’ Harley-Davidson for a consultation. Jamie went on to say, “We can handle anything. A purchase with a build, we can handle just bike purchases, just builds, just parts and you build it yourself. We can do anything; we are a one stop shop for any of the needs you have”. On top of that the Moonshine Horsepower work comes with a warranty!
“With us coming in bringing our brand, we want bigger events, we want more events, big things are coming.” Jamie said. One of those big things will be a name change for the dealership. I’ve pried a few times, and Jamie won’t let the cat out of the bag. The new name has been approved by HarleyDavidson and will be released along with new merch later this year. So, if you are looking to replace your old Smokin’ H-D shirt, better snag it now!
As always you can keep up with the upcoming events and dealership news right here in the Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine. Make sure you check out MoonshineHarley.com and Moonshie Harley on youtube to get all the info on Moonshine Horsepower builds and parts.

ne of the worst phrases ever is, “Let’s go to the mall”. I absolutely dread going to the mall. Being the father of a teenager, it’s the last place I want to go. That is until the Maverick Radio & Gulick Excavating Bike Show in Burlington’s Holly Hill Mall. This event has been bringing grown men to the mall for years and has recently been restarted by the Bikers For Alamance County after the HOG club dissolved. Now there’s a reason to go to the mall, even though you still have to avoid the department stores if you take your wife.
To be safe, I left my family at home, that way I wouldn’t be distracted from checking out the bikes in the show. I hit the mall grinning like a 13 teen year old that was dropped off with a $20 bill. I was greeted by ZZ Top Notch rocking out some good ole tunes from the “Little Blues Band from Texas”. These guys are so good, you may confuse them for the real thing. It was definitely the right tunage for a bike show. The bike show was spread out in the main thoroughfare of the mall. Parked by class, Customs, Baggers, Imports, Cruisers and more were all there and were looking good under the mall lighting. The bikes were being judged and were up for People’s Choice judging as well. All the bikes had a jug out front of them and were accepting votes that were bought by the public with the proceeds going to Hospice of Alamance County which is part of Authora Care.
There were a couple vendors set up too, including Steve’s Leather. Steve’s shop is in Burlington and has the absolute best selection of leather and other biker accessories. I always end up finding something I need when I see Steve set up. There was also a bake sale, auction, 50/50 and raffles going on during the weekend. The crowd was involved in contests during the band breaks. Valkyrie Tattoo Studio was set up and conducted a tattoo contest. There were a lot of strong tattoos entered into the contest and all got voted on by the artist to get a collective score to decide the winner. Some burly dudes got into a beard competition and had their whiskers admired for prizes too. A few “lucky” event goers chowed down in a wing eating contest. Naturally the best dressed biker chick contest held the attention of the crowd too. Bikers For Alamance County were really pleased with the flow of the event this year and are looking to grow the event in years to come. This year the event raised $25,156.95 for Hospice of Alamance County. These types of events have a lot of moving parts and Bikers For Alamance County expressed their thanks to the many volunteers that helped out. They had a ton of great sponsors including Maverick Radio, Gulick Excavating and Carolina United Roofing and Construction. Keep your eyes on the Cruisin’ Calendar for next years event and get those bikes shined up for this unique indoor bike show.

from S&S releaSeS: &s cycle has a long history of racing, performance innovations, setting records and leading the powersports industry. In addition, S&S has a pretty cool history of creating some powerful, historic moments in the V-twin world.
There was the 145 Tour—celebrating the S&S 45th anniversary with builders creating custom creations around a 145ci V-series engine. Then there was the S&S Shovelhead Tour with a look back to the nostalgia of a beautiful engine. Things ramped up with the S&S 124 Tour where builders were pitted against each other in a build—and drag race—which inspired the All Harley Drag Racing Association to create a class just for S&S Cycle 124ci engines. Then there was the S&S Cycle 50th Anniversary Celebration, bringing 50 of the world’s best custom builders to La Crosse, Wisconsin, to compete against each other—and be judged by each other—in the biggest build-off the world had ever seen. But then, for some reason, the tours stopped. The v-twin industry became solitary, in sort of every man (or woman) for himself approach, fueled by the instant response of social media. We said, if we are the leader in the powersports industry, we need to show the industry we really are, and the 2025 S&S Vintage Tour was born.
Six extremely talented, incredibly diverse builders were asked to be teammates on a project that will invigorate the creative juices of the custom industry. They were asked to put solitary promotion aside and become the leaders of making custom bikes fun again—as a team.
Kicked off in Daytona Bike Week, on February 28, at the S&S Cycle display in the J&P Cycles lot at Destination Daytona the six builders unveiled their creations. In addition to Mike Beland, A1 Cycles; Chip Kastelnik, San Diego Customs; Kevin “Teach” Baas, Vintage Bike Addiction; Brian Klock, Klock Werks and Chris Callen, Cycle Source, showed the world what they can build with an S&S Vintage motor.

n the year of 1975 the first frog level mc belt buckle was cast, and this independent club was brought into existence. The club’s name came from a road that the members had to travel to get to the original clubhouse Greenville, NC. Although Farm Boy wasn’t present at the original clubhouse, he became a member in 1992 and is the current president of Frog Level. Having held the position for over a decade of combined time, Farm Boy is the longest standing President the club has had to date. You may have bought some parts from Farm Boy at a swap meet, hung out with him at events like the Backroad BBQ or met him at a Full Throttle Custom Bike Show where he takes home multiple trophies for his antique motorcycles, and I was lucky enough to have him tell me a little history about Frog Level MC.
The club described by Farm Boy as an Independent club that “falls under the 99% group”. In fact, the most accurate description that began as a joke was that Frog Level MC was best described as “Frog Level Motorcycle Riding, Beer Drinking, Social Club” said Farm Boy. This is illustrated by the Frog Level logo, which is a Frog on a motorcy cle holding up a can beer. The club members don’t wear colors, but don Frog Level belt buckles instead. Farm Boy lays it out like this, “We’re just a funny little club, with a funny little name. We aren’t trying to make any waves; we’re just trying to be a place where people can come hang out and enjoy being a biker. Anybody invited here [to hang out with Frog Level] will be respected”
Rumor has it that one of the early members of Frog Level MC was one of the first ones to bring Toy Runs to the east coast back in 1982. Back then the Toy Run would have been held in conjunction with J&E Harley-Davidson, the local bike shop in the area. The first I had ever heard of Frog Level was in conversation about the Frog Level Pistol Shoot which has been held every year on the third Saturday in June (except for in 2020) since the inception of the club. “Our Pistol Shoot is our main mandatory event, where we expect even our retired members there on that one”, Farm Boy added.
The original clubhouse, down past Frog Level Rd, was in Bell Authur, which is a community between Greenville and Farmville, NC. “They were short lived there because of some misbehavior going on. They had some motorcycle races across some tobacco rows, that destroyed some tobacco and got run off from there” Farm Boy commented. A new club house was then set up in Chicod, NC, some 20 miles southeast. Frog Level MC was set up there for close to 40 years, but that clubhouse caught fire and burned up, prompting the club to move to their current clubhouse in Ayden, NC which was the site for the 50th Anniversary Party. “Yes, we lost a lot of history at the clubhouse due to the fire, but the fire turned out to be a better blessing than it was a curse”, Farm Boy added. The new clubhouse was a better setup for the club, and they became care takers of the house and the cemetery on the property.
The Anniversary party on
February 8th at the Ayden, NC club house was well attended by current and retired Frog Level members and handful of clubs who support them. The Veterans MC, The Brotherhood out of Greenville, the Freedom Riders, the Wingmen MC and other independent clubs all showed their support and kept the party going. The oldest living retired Frog Level member, Norman Keller, at 91 years old made it out to help the club celebrate. There was plenty of good eating going on around the bonfires and the evening featured fireworks, among other things. “One thing about it, anytime we get together we always have something to eat” said Farm Boy. The club bar was open late party went deep into the night. “We don’t exactly close
the bar down ya know. As long as there’s somebody up drinking, someone is manning the bar. It’s not like there’s a closing time, but there’s a certain time in the night where, Ok we’ve had enough, we’re gonna go lay down”. Farm Boy explained. I’m sure there were no tall tales told late that night.
Next up for Frog Level MC is their Motorcycle Run on April 12th. “After 50 years of doing the pistol shoot, toy runs and other things, we’ve decided to venture out and have a chopper challenge,” Farm Boy said. The club consists of bikes from antique to modern, but this event is for the choppers. Basically, it’s a 200 mile chopper endurance run from Winston-Salem to Ayden, NC. All hardtails are welcome to ride for a $40 fee that includes gate and a t-shirt. But you must submit a picture of your bike to Swamp Critter on Instagram to be eligible (@swampcritter420). Check it out yall, a real motorcycle event! It’s definitely gonna be a hoot and you’ll get to hang out at the Frog Level club house.

on the lifter tubes and rocker boxes. Wheels are finished in Gloss Black with red “CVO RR” laser etched in the rim of the front wheel.
A new Screamin’ Eagle® 131 V-Twin engine is the mostpowerful Milwaukee-Eight® variant ever offered factory-installed in a production Harley-Davidson® model, rated at 153 peak horsepower (114 kW) at 5750 RPM and 150 lb. ft. (204 Nm) peak torque at 4750 RPM. Displacement of 131 cubic inches (2147cc) is the same as that of the engines powering the Harley-Davidson Factory Team competition Road Glide® motorcycles. Assembled by Harley-Davidson with Screamin’ Eagle® Stage IV components, the engine is tuned to produce abundant torque at low RPM with a camshaft profile and high-volume intake designed to carry that torque through a broad powerband, with redline elevated to a 6500 RPM. The Screamin’ Eagle® 131 engine is exclusive to the CVO™ Road Glide® RR model. Key features include:
• Screamin’ Eagle® Stage IV CNC ported cylinder heads feature fully CNC machined combustion chambers and ports. Intake (42mm) and exhaust (34mm) valves are 2mm larger than standard Milwaukee-Eight® valves for enhanced flow. Exhaust valves are fatigue-resistant Inconel. Multi-angle valve seats are fully blended to the ports and combustion chamber. The cylinder heads are liquid-cooled.
• The high-performance SE8-550 Camshaft with 0.550-inch valve lift offers increased flow at high RPM for maximum horsepower.
• A new race-inspired intake features a 68mm throttle body and a matching aluminum intake manifold to contribute to increased power output. The manifold is CNC machined to precisely match the intake ports for the smoothest possible air flow and shaped to minimize weight and to offer extra rider leg clearance. The engine breathes through a washable Screamin’ Eagle® High Flow air filter.
• These Screamin’ Eagle® internal components contribute to durability under extreme duty: Screamin’ Eagle® highcapacity valve lifters, Screamin’ Eagle® high-performance valve springs, Screamin’ Eagle® high-capacity inner camshaft bearing, and a Screamin’ Eagle® high volume oil pump. The 6.8 grams/second fuel injectors ensure adequate fuel flow at high RPM.
• A 30-tooth (30T) output sprocket provides a lower final drive ratio than the standard Road Glide® model 32-tooth sprocket (2.27:1 with 30T vs. 2.13:1 with 32T) to boost acceleration performance in every gear.
• The new Billet Clutch Basket designed by Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing is machined from U.S.-sourced highstrength 7075 aluminum with a MIL-SPEC anodized finish. It is designed with precision tolerances to reduce wear and lost motion from friction disk chatter.
• New billet aluminum powertrain covers reduce weight and have the same machined finish as covers on the Factory Race Team race bikes. The primary cover is shaped to provide ad-
ditional lean angle and features added cooling fins.
• The new Akrapovič designed for Harley-Davidson Factory Racing Full Titanium Exhaust features lightweight titanium 2-into-1 header pipes, carbon fiber exhaust shields and titanium muffler shells with titanium fiber end caps. This exhaust system is more than 10 pounds lighter than a standard Milwaukee-Eight® exhaust. The high-flow design unlocks engine performance while maintaining noise and 50-state emissions compliance. Exhaust tone and level are enhanced to produce an exhilarating sound, especially on acceleration.
• A new Screamin’ Eagle® Racing King 6 Transmission has been battle-tested on Factory Race Team motorcycles and engineered for smooth shifting performance and durability. Key features include modified back-cut angles on the shift dogs to improve gear engagement and gears and shafts shot peened for strength.
The CVO™ Road Glide® RR motorcycle is equipped with fully adjustable premium race-spec front and rear suspension.
• Inverted 43mm Öhlins FGR 253 Hypersport Superbike forks were developed in partnership between Öhlins and Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing to offer no-compromise front suspension performance for confidence-inspiring handling. Rebound/compression damping is adjustable. Pre-load adjustment may be used to set suspension height for rider weight and desired vehicle attitude. Micro-polished inner tubes reduce friction for smooth performance, while pressurized TTX25 cartridge technology maintains damping at higher frequency to improve control, noticed by the rider as improved tire contact feel. Billet aluminum triple clamps are designed to maximize the performance of the Öhlins FGR 253 fork and use race-proven geometry combined with enhanced strengthto-weight ratio.
• Dual outboard Screamin’ Eagle® Öhlins Remote Reservoir shock absorbers feature the same technology developed for the raceprepared Harley-Davidson® Factory Racing Road Glide® bikes. Rebound/compression damping is adjustable. Pre-load adjustment may be used to set suspension height for rider weight and desired vehicle attitude. Total shock length of 14 inches (375mm) is adjustable on the rear eye +8/-2 mm. Remote reservoirs exposed between the rear fender and each saddlebag keep the shock oil and gas separated to maintain shock performance under demanding conditions.
• Front and rear suspension is designed to raise the motorcycle ride height by 2 inches which contributes to an increase in lean angle to facilitate aggressive cornering. Lean angle is 36 degrees right and 35 degrees left, an increase of 3 degrees left and right compared to the CVO™ Road Glide® ST model.
• A new billet aluminum swingarm designed for HarleyDavidson® Factory Team race motorcycles using advanced computer-aided engineering techniques including topology optimization is 10 percent stiffer and 10 percent lighter than the steel Road Glide model swingarm to contribute to precise handling in dynamic situations. The swingarm is CNC machined from a 220-pound billet of 6061 aluminum to a state-of-the-art 18-pound performance part.
Brembo™ braking components provide outstanding braking feel and performance for added rider confidence.
• Brembo™ GP4-RX CNC front calipers combine unrivaled stability with near-MotoGP levels of braking performance. The 2-piece calipers are machined from a solid block of billet aluminum, delivering outstanding strength and tighter machining tolerances. Brake pads slide within the caliper body on special guides machined directly into the caliper body, eliminating pad pins. The GP4-RX features a nickel-plated finish adapted from MotoGP which enables enhanced heat dissipation. The hydraulic system has been painstakingly optimized with four 32mm-diameter pistons for increased braking power, consistent performance and optimized feel. The front brake hand lever is adjustable for reach to best match rider hand size or preference.
• Brembo™ T-Drive front rotors have the same fixing concepts used by the Harley-Davidson Factory Race Team motorcycles. Brembo’s patented T-drive system was developed for the highest level of racing at WSBK and utilizes a fully Continues On Page 60
floating action in both radial and axial directions to transfer torque more efficiently between the contact area of the rotor and carrier and optimized weight reduction. These revolutionary 320 mm rotors have an increased thickness (5.5 mm) and a premium stainless steel braking surface.
• The single rear brake features a four-piston Brembo™ caliper. The rear brake rotor diameter is 300mm.
Racers understand that every pound of weight reduction is like free horsepower and can also contribute to improved fuel economy, braking performance and handling. Through the use of alternate materials and emphasizing performance features the CVO Road Glide RR model has an as shipped weight of 750 pounds, 50 pounds less that the CVO Road Glide ST model.
The CVO™ Road Glide® RR model is equipped with Rider Safety Enhancements by Harley-Davidson, a collection of technologies designed to enhance rider confidence during unexpected situations or adverse road conditions. Rider Safety Enhancements are designed to match motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration and braking. The systems are electronic and utilize the latest chassis control, electronic brake control and powertrain technology.
The CVO™ Road Glide® RR model features selectable Ride Modes that electronically control the performance characteristics of the motorcycle and the level of technology intervention. Each Ride Mode consists of a specific combination of power delivery, engine braking, Cornering Antilock Braking System (C-ABS) and Cornering Traction Control System (C-TCS) settings. The rider may use the hand control MODE button to change the active ride mode while riding the motorcycle or when stopped. A unique icon for each mode appears on the display when that mode has been selected.
Ergonomics have been designed to place the rider in a position that combines comfort with confident control in any street or track riding environment.
• New mid-mount foot controls replace footboards to maintain the increased lean angle achieved by elevating the ride height. Pegs are positioned to optimize the rider triangle and to make shifting and braking more efficient during dynamic riding. Foot pegs and controls are machined from billet aluminum to reduce weight and provide race-ready style.
• A new race-inspired solo seat places the rider in an athletic riding position, enhances vehicle control by optimizing rider center of mass and improves the rider triangle related to the mid-controls. The seating position is elevated by approximately 1 inch to facilitate a comfortable rider triangle distance to the mid-mount foot controls. A raised rear bolster helps hold the rider in position during aggressive riding. The padded pommel on the rear of the fuel tank is a racing-derived feature which allows the rider to brace their inner thigh under hard braking and support themselves while using body position to enhance cornering control. Laden seat height is 28.9 in. (735 mm) which is 2.3 inches higher than the Road Glide® model.
• A Moto Bar handlebar and 6-inch riser put the rider in a more upright position compared to the Road Glide® model. The riser is 2.2 inches taller than the Road Glide® riser, while the Moto Bar handlebar has a much flatter bend than the Road Glide® handlebar.
The CVO™ Road Glide® RR model debuts a new premium, high-performance Harley-Davidson® Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate® Stage III audio system. Two fairingmounted Harley-Davidson® Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate® Stage III 3-way, 6.5-inch speakers are rated for 250 watts RMS power handling per speaker. onathan allen’s 2008 harley-DaviDson Fat Boy instantly caught our eye anD it was DestineD to Be FeatureD in the carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine. We’ve always been a fan of the Fat Boy model and Jonathan has managed to keep the lines, shape and solid wheels that made the model a classic. Jonathan said, “This bike was a long time in the making, I had many different Ideas of which way I wanted to go with it, but I wanted to stay clean and classic. I bought this as a 105th Anniversary, copper and black, otherwise known as a Duracell battery. I couldn’t get over the Duracell battery, so I changed it up and made it my own”. To start Jonathan disassembled the Fat Boy and had all the chrome blasted and powder coated. Jonathan also had the solid 21” front and 18” rear wheels powder coated black and polished. But they didn’t quite have the mirror shine he wanted when they came back from the powder coater, so he went to work sanding it back down and clearing them until they were just right.
Jonathan laid the paint himself with stripes reminiscent to the mid 70’s AMF Harley-Davidson tanks. It’s got PPG base coat and clear coat on the paint, with multiple layers of clear to bury the lines and graphics. “I’ve always liked the blue, silver and black combination, it seems to go well with it.” He also blacked everything out except the bolts to add a little extra contrast. The Twin Cam rocker boxes feature the same blue and silver stripes of the tank, timing cover, oil bag and the fenders bringing the continuity that is present in solid builds.
“It’s got air ride front and rear, plus two-inch lower legs on the front to give it the stance I was looking for.” To compliment the front wheel Jonathan went with a 21” FL style, wrapped fender. He also put a blue backing in the smaller 5.5 inch ribbed headlight bucket to match the color scheme and the front-end tins. Jonathan also ditched the Fat Boy floorboards and put in some forward controls to add to the racy look of the bike.
The matte black finish on the scrambler positioned 2 into 1 exhaust, custom built by SikPipes, sets them off from the deep shine of the gloss black paint and adds another layer to this custom Fat Boy. “They were special ordered, I saw one on his website (SikPipes) that was a little bit different shaped, it turned down a little more, but I wanted something straight that I didn’t have to worry about dragging. I wanted something on the racy side, but not quite overpowering on the noise”, Jonathan added. To ensure the bike sounded the way he wanted he added a 485 cam. Then added to race theme with the checkered flags on the air breather.
“This is kinda a hobby of mine, but I really enjoy doing it.” Jonathan concluded.

n sunday february 23rd, lake lure was full of bikers who came to donate to the Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach of Lake Lure. It wasn’t the normal charity run because there was no organized ride with stops and such. It was more of a rendezvous at the LaStrada Restaurant in Lake Lure for taking donations for the Outreach. Then it was a “Free Style Run” where every biker went home his own way.
Since the devastation of hurricane Helene last year, there has been an increased need for aid and support for our western counties: Rutherford, Polk, Buncombe, and Henderson counties. The Outreach has been busy helping where it can.
When I heard about the event, I knew that I had to go. I saw the devastation of the western counties on television and felt so bad for the people who were affected by the storm. Entire communities are no longer there. Small streams became raging rivers that took out everything in their path. Even now, six months after the storm, there are roads that are still impassable, and homes unlivable.
I left home at 12:15 heading west on Rt 74. I turned right at the exit for Rt 9 which runs all the way into Lake Lure. I forgot how much fun it was to travel on Rt 9 to Lake Lure. The curves are sharp as the road travels up next to the lake. The speed limit is only 35 mph but even at that slow speed, it was fun.
It took me 45 minutes to travel the 50 miles. I parked in the LaStrada parking area behind the restaurant. For those who haven’t been to the LaStrada restaurant in Lake Lure, it’s high on a hill overlooking the Lake Lure beach area. The limited parking is behind with some of the parking on a steep hill.
I met a couple who parked their Harley on the only flat section of the parking lot. We talked before we went into the restaurant. They were very pleasant.
I walked inside and gave my donation in the large jar on the counter. The restaurant was almost full of bikers and other patrons. I looked out the window and saw that there were many more bikers parked down next to the beach. I went down to see if any of my friends had arrived.
The first one I saw was Mike from the Full Throttle Biker Church in Bostic, NC. He brought a group of his parishioners. We talked for a while, then, I noticed another friend: Ty from “The Shop” in Spartanburg, SC. He brought a group of his friends too. It was getting pretty crowded with bikes roaring in continuously.
I was looking for the group from the Armored Saints Motorcycle Ministry. I knew they were coming. I started to walk back to LaStrada to see if they were there. As I was walking up the hill, I saw them ride in, so I walked back to where they parked.
It was good to see “Pops” and all his fellow Armored Saints. We talked for a while and then took a group picture before they headed to LaStrada to give the donations. I learned that on their way home, they were stopping at a familiar restaurant in Columbus for a late lunch.
I talked with a few of the bikers, and they all said that they were stopping at a restaurant in one of the small towns that surround Lake Lure. They were making a day of it because it had warmed up for a comfortable ride.
I contacted the Outreach to get the total donated by the fundraiser. They said that over 200 bikes showed up for the event, and $6175.00 was raised by the bikers. That money will be used to help eliminate hunger and provide emergency services with love and compassion to those in need that live in their community. The Outreach is funded solely through donations from generous members of our community, fundraisers, and local food drives.
The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine staff screens hundreds of jokes each month. We make no claim to being politically correct. Most PC jokes just aren’t funny. If you are offended by any of the jokes on this page, take heart in the fact that we go to great lengths to offend everyone equally. This is not a hate crime! At our house we call it “pickin” and it is symbolic of your acceptance in the group. We live in the United States Of The Offended, so get over it!!
Two rednecks are out hunting, and as they’re walking along they come upon a huge hole in the ground. They approach it and are amazed by the size of it. The first hunter says, “Wow, that’s some hole. I can’t even see the bottom. I wonder how deep it is?” The second hunter says,” I don’t know, let’s throw something down and listen and see how long it takes to hit bottom.” The first hunter says, “There’s an old gearbox over there, give me a hand and we’ll throw it in and see”. So, they pick it up and carry it over, and count one, and two and three, and throw it in the hole. They are standing there listening and looking over the edge and they hear a rustling in the brush behind them. As they turn around, they see a goat come crashing through the brush, run up to the hole with no hesitation, and jump in headfirst. While they are standing there looking at each other, then gazing into the hole, and trying to figure out what that was all about, an old farmer walks up. “Say there”, says the farmer, “You fellers didn’t happen to see my goat around here anywhere, did you?” The first hunter says “Funny you should ask, but we were just standing here a minute ago and a goat came running out of the bushes doin’ about a hunert miles an hour and jumped headfirst into this hole here!” And the old farmer said... “Why that’s impossible, I had him chained to an old gearbox!”
Two drunken Irishmen in a graveyard. Paddy starts reading the gravestones. “Mick” he says; Would you look at this, a feller here who was 90 when he died!” “Who’s that?” says Mick. “Somebody called O’Toole from Kerry,” he replies. Mick says, “Never mind him, there’s a feller here called Murphy, was 99 when he died! From Castletown of all places! “Well that’s nothing!” says Paddy. “What about what written on this feller’s stone, here right beside the gate!” “The stone says 147!” “147? That’s amazing!” says Mick. “Who was he?” “Well according to the stone, its somebody called Miles from Dublin..!”
Ricardo the local gigolo was scanning the pool of his hotel and sees this drop dead gorgeous
blond. After a while he goes over to her and invites her back to his room. They make passionate love and at the end he asks in broken Italian, “are you finish?” She replies, “noooo”. So, they make love again, this time even more passionate at the end he asks, “are you finish?” “Nooo” she replies. Knowing when he’s on to a good thing he makes love to her again summoning up all his strength. They climax and he says, “are youfinish?”. “Nooo” she replies, “I’m Norwegian!”
Patrick and Michael were the best of friends. One day they decided to go bicycling, but when they got to the rental shop, all that was left was a tandem. They decided to take it anyway, and Patrick got on in front. They rode for a while down the scenic country roads until they came to a steep hill. They stopped and looked up. “Begorrah, that’s the tallest hill in all Ireland!” exclaimed Patrick. “It is, so it is” replied Michael “We’ll have our work cut out for us, sure.” And so, they started up the hill, each pedaling as hard as he could. Soon the sweat was pouring off and they were gasping for breath. “Faith, this is a steep hill” gasped Patrick. “It is, so it is” exclaimed Michael, and they pedaled even harder. At last they reached the top, and stopped to catch their breath. “Saints preserve us, that was the steepest, tallest and hardest hill in all Ireland!” said Patrick. “It was, so it was,” said Michael. “and if I hadn’t kept the brakes on, we’d have rolled right back down!”
A rich playboy had so many girlfriends that he hadn’t enough time to entertain them all. So, he made a research lab an offer they couldn’t refuse and got them to clone him in order to balance the load. However, the cloning technique hadn’t been perfected, causing the clone to suffer from Tourette’s Syndrome. By and by the clone’s obscenities caused the girlfriends to run away. Eventually the playboy decided something had to be done, so he took the clone to a remote part of the Grand Canyon and pushed him over a cliff. He thought he’d got away with it, but shortly after the police arrested him for making an obscene clone fall.
There I was, sitting reading and I looked over at my daughter. She was studying something then closing her eyes and slightly mouthing words. I asked what she was doing. She told me she was learning her lines for the theatrical group. They’re doing an Ulster version of ‘Frozen’, called ‘Foundered’. Daughter tells me that as well as a few parts she’s part of the singing chorus. I says to her, “I suppose you’ll be singing that hit song from it? Ah, what’s it called? The Snowman?” I couldn’t remember the name and guessed at a few, all wrong according to daughter. Eventually daughter says
to me “’Let It Go’, dad, ‘Let It Go’” ‘’Ach, no, I can’t’’ says I ‘’This will bug me till I remember the name.’’
One day at the end of class, little Johnny’s teacher asks the class to go home and think of a story to be concluded with the moral of that story. The following day the teacher asks for the first volunteer to tell their story. Little Suzy raises her hand. “My dad owns a farm and every Sunday we load the chicken eggs on the truck and drive into town to sell them at the market. Well, one Sunday we hit a big bump, and all the eggs flew out of the basket and onto the road.” When the teacher asked for the moral of the story, Suzy replied, “Don’t keep all your eggs in one basket.” Little Lucy went next. “My dad owns a farm too. Every weekend we take the chicken eggs and put them in the incubator. Last weekend only eight of the 12 eggs hatched.” Again, the teacher asked for the moral of the story. Lucy replied, “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.” Next up was little Johnny. “My uncle Ted fought in the Vietnam war, and his plane was shot down over enemy territory. He jumped out before it crashed but could only take a case of beer, a machine gun and a machete. On the way down, he drank the case of beer. Then he landed right in the middle of 100 Vietnamese soldiers. He shot 70 with his machine gun, but then he ran out of bullets! So, he pulled out his machete and killed 20 more. Then the blade on his machete broke, so he killed the last ten with his bare hands.” The teacher looked a little shocked. After clearing her throat, she asked what possible moral there could be to this story. “Well,” Johnny replied, “Don’t mess with Uncle Ted when he’s been drinking.”
A blind man enters a bar and finds his way to a barstool. After ordering a drink, and sitting there for a while, the blind guy yells to the bartender, “Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?” The bar immediately becomes absolutely quiet. In a husky, deep voice, the woman next to him says, “Before you tell that joke, you should know something. The bartender is blonde, the bouncer is blonde and I’m a 6’ tall, 200 pound blonde with a black belt in karate. What’s more, the fella sitting next to me is blonde and he’s a weightlifter. The woman to your right is a blonde, and she’s a pro wrestler. Think about it seriously, mister. You still wanna tell that blonde joke?” The blind guy says, “Nah, not if I’m gonna have to explain it five times.”
