Population

Currently in Corregidora only 59% of the population is economically active while 41% is unemployed, of the 63,700 who work, only 56% work within the municipality. Another alarming fact is that the average area of recreational space is of only 3.9 square meters per inhabitant, only one third of what is recommended by the OMS. (Municipal Development Plan, 2018).
