Streets Have Gender is a project that seeks to provide a better lifestyle for the habitants of the neighborhoods who live around the Park Alcanfores. The gender perspective design, it is an urbanism that proposes a design and an arrangement that takes into account the roles that have been assigned to women, currently also carried out by men.
This project focuses in the Park Alcanfores that becomes part if the identity of the zone and unites two neighborhoods that have been divided by the railway. With mobility strategies the zone will become more accessible and safe for habitants and visitors. Becoming the next biggest park in the city and the first one to meet all of the needs of the habitants near it.
A project with gender perspective, studying women as expert users of public space and ambassadors of the vulnerable sector of the community, will offer a place of inclusive spaces that is accessible for everyone, a place to live in the future.
