FIS Global, a prominent financial technology solutions provider, faced a cyber attack by the Cl0p ransomware gang due to the exploitation of the MOVEit vulnerability. The threat actor expressed dissatisfaction with the company’s inadequate security measures to protect customer data.

Although FIS acknowledged a cybersecurity issue related to the MOVEit Transfer product, they did not confirm the ransomware attack.

The incident was part of a series of targeted attacks on companies using MOVEit. The breach impacted a limited number of clients, and the company assured that affected clients would be informed.
