Indonesian passport data breach
Over 34 million Indonesian passports were exposed to a massive data breach affecting the country’s Immigration Directorate General. The breach was disclosed by cybersecurity researcher Teguh Aprianto, who attributed it to hacktivist Bjorka.

The stolen data, including full names, passport numbers, dates of issue, and more, is being offered for sale on a data leak site. The Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is investigating the breach along with the National Cyber and Encryption Agency.
The breach poses a significant risk of identity theft and fraud for the affected passport holders, prompting authorities to emphasize compliance with the Personal Data Protection law.
