Round 4 – 17 February 2019 Tristan Ward pulled off a ballsy last lap attack to narrowly beat the chasing field to the line and claim an impressive win on a hot, fast
and windy night at Heffron Park. Comeback kids Nick Spratt and Jack
Bennett dueled it for second place with Spratt getting home by a trye in front of the faster finishing Bennett.
In the Series Pointscore Jack Bennett has taken a 2 point lead in front of Series surprise packet Liam Kelly who sits on 11 points while three
time defending champ Alex Nazarewicz is still in the hunt on 10 points. Hot westerly winds introduced another dynamic to an already challenging race with several new riders to Heffron Park discovering just why Tuesday Night Racing is so hard. A solid field of 80 riders where on
the start line with A grade boasting a huge turnout of 33 starters, which ended up being the total number of riders who made it to the finishline.
It was A grades race with 6 laps to go and then it was just a question of picking the winner between the Nero Performance Racing, Crit Dawgs, GPM, St George and Bridgelane squads. Tristan Ward’s last lap winning move
stretched the remaining field to the abso-
lute limit with Nero Racing missing out on
