ZIRKONZAHN METAL OPAQUER & OPAQUE LIQUID: TWO SOLUTIONS TO INCREASE THE OPACITY OF RESTORATIONS w Zirkonzahn has recently launched in the market two new products to increase the opacity level of restorations: the Metal Opaquer and the Opaque Liquid.
Metal Opaquer on a framework made of cobalt-chromium
Metal Opaquer is a light-curing composite available in four light and dark shades (two for the dentine colours and two for the gingiva). The product is applied on metal primary/secondary structures to reduce the grey value of the final restoration and manufacture final resin or zirconia restorations with a high aesthetic quality and a completely natural-looking dentine and gingiva colour. Opaque Liquid is part of the Zirkonzahn’s Colour Liquid line. The product is applied on monolithic and reduced zirconia structures in order to increase their opacity and cover nonaesthetic, dark dies as well as dark cervical areas. Depending on the zirconia structure (reduced copings or crowns), the liquid is applied either inside or outside the structure, in order to preserve the aesthetic effect of the zirconia used.
