Interview With Charlie Haslem Taken By Pitanjal Datta According to you, the definition for Fashion and Style. Ans) Fashion is always changing and growing, somewhat elusive and extremely seductive. It has the power to transform an image and make a social statement. To some, fashion is an art form, to others it is almost a religion. You can easily use fashion to express yourself, to serve as an extension of your personality, or it can be used to disguise your true self. This is very much the same when it comes to style. It gives people the opportunity to show who they are as an individual within any situation. Tell us about your attire in your upcoming shots. Ans) My photographer Michael Cannon and I have a few ideas that we want to work on next and the attire within those shoots is mostly alternative in style. The idea we are most excited about working on is to do with an elegant gothic style, more specifically a corseted gown with some form of angel wings attached. Your favourite fashion accessory that you think stands out for you and all other ladies. Fashion accessory that men look the best in. Ans) Thigh high stockings, especially used with garters and/or garter belts. They have the ability of turning even the most simple of outfits into something incredibly sexy and seductive. When worn correctly, a vest and tie combination can look great on any guy. Casual or formal.

Your favourite shopping destinations for clothes and fashion accessories? Favourite online shopping site? I’m not the biggest fan of going shopping, especially for clothes, but when I do I generally hit my local retailers and make a day of it with a friend. My favourite online store is tragicbeautiful.com as they stock a number of different brands of alternative clothing and accessories, and they have great sales from time to time.

Your favourite outfit of a female character from a recent film that you watched? What did you like about it? Your favourite outfit of a male character from a recent film that you watched? What did you like the most about it? I recently saw Mad Max Fury Road and loved it, particularly the range of different types of styles within the wardrobes of the cast with the limit of a post-apocalyptic world. Nicholas Hoult’s attire for his character Nux was well done – black jeans, combat boots and for a short period Max’s leather jacket – especially with the addition of the scarification on his chest. Charlize Theron’s character Imperator Furiosa was pleasantly dressed as well with almost a steampunk look to the simple outfit. Again black jeans with combat boots, and what was once a white
