Whats your definition a FIT Human Being? s) That is a very good estion.I believe a human ng cannot be fit just with ercise or by pumping iron a gym.A person who is ysically,emotionally,spirilly and mindfully fit with right attitude is a " Fit man being ".

Fitness & Fashion! s) Fitness has evolved er the years and so has fitness apparels.In the st going to a fitness cenwas 'Fashionable' but shionable clothes' were really something fitness husiast gave much priorto. The focus was more comfort rather than fash.When aerobics hit the ess industry everything anged.

The 80's was the era of leotards , leg warmers and hair bands. Make up was not a common thing however some women used lipstick and eye liner, , if you compare the 80's & 90's to these days, there has been a big transformation. We not only get to wear comfortable & fashionable sports clothes but also accessories. Isn't that wonderful? Being fashionable has become a fitness status for many. We want to look fit, have fun and feel great. When you feel good, your self esteem is higher too and that could be the motivation for many. So yes, I would say fashion and fitness are a great combination.

I would definitely love to see women between ages 40-60 above getting into strength ng than just a cardio workcombination of cardio, gth & flexibility is a right apch.I would love to see a shift ndset when it comes to en and exercise.This could be o traditions and culture in dift countries.Instructors can a big part in the wellness of articular age group by creatore awareness.There is for anyone and everyone to ipate in a fitness program MEERA NAIR with an instructor certified by her! s suitable for each individual. 4) Best form of Workout? Ans) We human beings are not alike. Our bodies, our muscle fibers ,our interest are all so different. So if you ask me what is the best form of exercise , I would say " it depends on the individual" . For a person who is very stressed you would want to give some mind calming exercise which could be yoga or pilates or even and outdoor walk int he nature. For my 80 year old mother who has week knees , probably 10 minutes walk with the help of a walker 3 times in a day and some exercises for joint mobility and stretching could be one option. For a fit and athletic individual it could be sports conditioning that works wonders.The best form of workout is one that suits a particular person that gives that person the best results. Most of all they must enjoy it thoroughly.Having said that, being able to maintain that overall fulfilling lifestyle by having a little bit of everything with proper balance , is what really matters after a’s ZUMBA Moves! all. Here consistency plays a big role be it time for fitness, time with family and friends, time for work and play which is a more holistic approach to life as a whole

As I mentioned it's just not the exercise we're talking about here.A fulfilling life style can only be fulfilling when you have a little bit of everything, that is, exercise, eating the right kind of food, having enough sleep.Changing a negative situation as much as possible as a positive learning experience and having acceptance.Be positive all the time, be very practical. Be active, eat, hydrate and sleep well and most importantly be connected to your loved ones!

MEERA NAIR 5) Tip for youngsters! Ans) Create a healthy lifestyle that you can continue till your last breath. Don't look at fitness as a short term goal , example to look good on your wedding or to have the muscular body in a short span of time just because some of your friends are in to body building. There are no short cuts.Its a very long road and there will be road blocks at every phase of age when you grow older.

This is the body you have been gifted with, the only body you will ever have. It will not look and feel the same. Be ready to embrace the changes your body will go through,so be kind to your body . Do not abuse it or you will have to pay a price later in life 6) Tip for future instructors and clients under them! Ans) Keep upgrading yourselves! Learn new things.Take care of new participants. Make them feel welcome. Take effort to get to know


Take care of your participants...Having said that, do take of your own body too, don’t get to the point of burnout! Even if you are an instructor , you must exercise to be fit. Conducting too many classes back to back might set you towards getting repetitive stress injuries. So take care. As for your participant, find out what their goals are so you can help them achieve it. Treat everyone equally in a class. The first thing any instructor must do before you even star to teach is to get a CPR/AED and First Aid certificate. This will help you to understand what you need if some untoward incident happens in your class. You might be able to save a life. At the same time you must also get a Primary Group Instructor Certificate if you are teaching in a group or a Personal Trainer Certificate if you are teaching a one to one Personal Training. You may have a Speciality Workshop certificate to teach classes like Zumba, Bokwa , Piloxing , TRX or any other programs, however it is really important to obtain a proper Fitness Certificate because it teaches you techniques, leadership, safe & effective method of exercise, it teaches you how the body works and many important things involved in being a Fitness Teacher. Let

Let me put it this way: If you have only the speciality workshop cert and you are teaching it's like being an eye specialist without doing your doctor's degree or being an English teacher without a teacher's trainer degree.


A client should be encouraged to workout at their own intensity level and progre tions or health issues they must communicate it with you, so that you are able to single them out. Make sure they have an enjoyable workout. Give your clients th questions or if they need to discuss.You definitely don’t want your clients to walk for them especially for beginners and members with limitations.
