STATE AND FEDERAL REPORTING Compared to last week slaughter lambs traded mostly unevenly steady and feeder lambs were sharply higher. Slaughter ewes were mostly steady and slaughter bucks were 5.00 to 10.00 lower. In goats, slaughter kids were mostly steady while slaughter nannies were 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Slaughter billies and wethers were mostly steady. Trade activity and buyer demand was moderate to good. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 38 percent slaughter lambs and 30 percent feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 52 percent slaughter and feeder kids, 35 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers.
