Horse Sale Terms & Conditions

We strongly urge buyers to thoroughly examine the horse that interests them. All sales are absolute and final.

Terms of the sale are U.S. currency, approved bank check, cashiers or certified check in U.S. funds only payable within one hour of the sale’s completion.

Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision will be final.

Announcements from the block will take precedence over the printed material and all other announcements. Every effort has been made to assure the correctness of this catalog, but the Cowboy Country Horse Sale, sale management and auctioneer are not responsible for errors or omissions, and assume no liability on its part or that of the seller as to statements, either verbal or written, regarding the horse sold. Catalog comments are provided by the seller. The Cowboy Country Horse Sale acts only as an agent for the several consignors in the sale, and does not assume any responsibility of the animal’s future usefulness. If an adjustment needs to be made, it must be made between the purchaser and the consignor.

The horses in the sale have not been vet checked. All horses are sold "as is". There is no guarantee of any kind as to the soundness or condition or other quality of any horse sold in this sale, except, in a specific case where the owner makes a specific guarantee. In such case, the guarantee is strictly by the owner and not by the sale's management. Right of recourse must be strictly and directly to the owner and not through the sales management.

Title passes to the purchaser at the fall of the auctioneer’s hammer, at which time the purchaser shall sign an acknowledgement of Purchase that will be brought to him/her. Name and complete mailing address must be legible. At this time, the purchaser shall assume all responsibility for the risk of injury to said horse.

The Cowboy Country Horse Sale Committee reserves the final and absolute right to interpret these rules and regulations, and arbitrarily settle and determine all matters, questions or differences in regard thereto, or otherwise arising out of, or connected with, or incident to, the Sale.

The Cowboy Country Horse Sale, The Campbell County Public Landboard, CAM-PLEX or their employees will not be responsible for any injury to or loss of any animal or accidents thereby, or any injury or loss of life to any participants or spectators during the Cowboy Country Horse Sale. NO ALLEY TRADING ALLOWED!
