BRUCE DONATH
22
PEARSE, DEBORAH M. “Debby,” 80, of Kennebunkport, Maine and Gulfport, died unexpectedly on April 6, following complications from an operation. Born in Worcester, MA on June 8, 1940 to Reverend John Martin and Marie Martin (Farley) she lived a life of love, unending friendships and serial entrepreneurship. Her mix of genuine interest in all she met naturally led many to nickname her “Mom” for her guidance, gentle support and love. She is survived by her loving family: husband, Bruce Donath; children, Jonathan (Peggy) of Mystic, CT; Julie (Ross) Sullivan of Marshfield, MA; Chung Sook Valdes of Worcester, MA; stepchildren Kate (Mark) Ferreira of Plymouth, MA and Jeffrey Donath of Hudson, WI. Predeceased by her sister Judith (Leonard), she was very close to surviving sisters, Martha (Synnott) of Seminole, and Connie
(Anick) of Marlboro, MA. Grandchildren missing her include Christopher and Michael Sullivan, Skyler, Zoe, and Macy Pearse, Adam and Samuel Ferreira, and Sonya and Kim Valdes. She leaves fond memories with the love of a long list of cousins, nieces, nephews, their children and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her honor to Atlantic Hall (atlantichall. org), Church on the Cape (churchonthecape.org) or her favorite theater, Good Theatre of Portland (goodtheatre.org). Funeral Notice A funeral mass will be held for Chris Clark at the Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on Thursday, April 29 at 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at 1 p.m. at Salty’s in Gulfport.
