AN INVITATION TO LIFE IN THE GARDEN
Invitations grant access. They serve as an entry pass exclusive to a particular person or group of people. When I was a child, I had a two room, playhouse in our backyard. Complete with a raised sun deck and sandbox below, it was the perfect venue for my private tea parties. I would invite my best dolls and stuffed animals to join me. They each had a designated place at the table. And in that safe space, we did life together. Be it a birthday celebration or a retirement party, invitations typically contain detailed information regarding the “who, what, when and where” of the event. Every “T” is crossed and every “I” dotted. Down to appropriate attire guidelines and gift giving recommendations, the sender, usually, has thought of everything, and nothing is left to chance. Invitations from Our Heavenly Father aren’t always so straightforward. In many instances, these divine invites, send the recipients on sweet journeys to surprisingly delightful destinations.
Your Invited
At the beginning of 2018, I received one such invitation. This heavenly invitation was delivered through a vision…a picture of a woman filled and overflowing with an abundance of life. Flowers and fruits bursting forth from her belly, her arms raised in complete surrender; this woman—like a tree— was strong, fertile and firmly rooted in the center of a spectacular wilderness. As I scanned each fine detail of the image, I could feel the pulling. I could feel the invitation calling out to me, prompting me to RSVP, enticing me to ask for more information. And the questions rose in my spirit… “Who was this woman? What was she doing? Where was this beautiful oasis? And when can I get there?” I was moved to draw my interpretation of the image. As I drew each detail with my artist tools splayed out in front of me, I drew closer to God in prayer. During this time, I went on walks through wooded paths along the water’s edge, and I saw myself in the spirit walking through a wilderness garden with The LORD. Until one day, I found myself in the deepest part

of the garden, face-to-face with a curtain of vines that led to the garden’s innermost space…a secret place…a secret garden. This was the place in my vision…the “where” from my invitation. This unknown sanctuary hidden behind a leafy veil had been awaiting my arrival. As I pulled back the lush, verdant drapes, the most beautiful venue was revealed. And I saw her. I saw the “who” of my invite. She was a flowering tree, planted by a stream, nestled alongside a waterfall and rivers of living waters. As I moved in for a closer look, I admired the rocky cliffs and wild vines. I took comfort in the green, lush pastures beneath my feet. This was a place of intimacy. A quiet, peaceful place. I gazed upon the woman once more and something amazing began to unfold…she was me! And this was my place. I was invited to a private party for two here in this secret Garden with The LORD. There’s more…this woman is not just me. She is you, too. God is inviting each one of His daughters to do Life with Him in The Garden.
There’s a heightened level of peace and power that comes in the garden. This peace and power require proper positioning. And with that peace and power come provision and promises filled. When we position ourselves in prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving; when we devote ourselves to worship to The Father; when we immerse ourselves in a deepened state of intimacy, we are drawn closer and closer to the innermost garden of His heart. It’s a place to commune with Him, to relax in Him. It’s a secret sanctuary in which to learn, grow and flourish. Life in The Garden requires a surrendered and willing heart. And in return, God will provide all your needs. He will restore and refresh you… and bless your life abundantly. Rivers of living waters will flow from your belly and you will be like a tree planted by a stream. It all begins with an invitation…won’t you join Him?

When I Look Into Your Eyes
As I lay upon infinite verdant fields, I behold the magnificent firmament, starry-eyed, reflections of the night, pondering the meaning of your love. Impressions flash like movie scenes, I take in, before me Your Sovereignty, everything has a purpose and reason, in the heavens, it is written, Your love. The fluttering winds sing Your name, a melody, harmony, rhythmic stanzas, majestic score, musical composition, I can hear the composer's call of love. Infinite universe is Your colored canvas, with omega constellations and galaxies, spiral bands of light, illuminate the land, at the touch of The Master and His love. As the moon’s overwhelming luminescence, blankets the ocean currents with pearls, diamonds shimmer in the midnight sky, The King of humanity tells a story of love. You stand as the God of this vast universe, the heavens cry out and declare Your glory, I want to romance You with a poetic ballad, when I look into Your eyes, a hymn of love. © Faith

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST MEATLOAF EVER Y’all I love me some beef. When I saw this grass fed beef on sale today, I was like… It’s meatloaf night!! Our Aussie, Buddy, totally agrees it should be meatloaf night! Do you have certain nights of the week or month that are designated certain meals? You know, like Taco Tuesday? We usually don’t. I’m terrible at planning anything related to meals unless I have a huge crowd coming over. We had a bunch of boys at our house last weekend and I’m good at keeping boys full! Back to meatloaf night! I’m a Trim Healthy Mama (THM) and that means I eat til I’m full. Thank God for that tonight! This recipe was amazing. I got it from page 214 of Trim Healthy Table Cookbook. It’s the newest of the cookbooks I’ve gotten to stay on plan with THM. Just the other day, I got up and weighed myself (which I hardly ever do anymore) and I was 2 pounds under my goal weight! Praise God for this plan and my friends making me try it.
My son, the runner, had plenty of potatoes with it and the captain and I had the roasted broccoli and cauliflower on the side.
My son, the runner, had plenty of potatoes with it and the captain and I had the roasted broccoli and cauliflower on the side. Y’all, this is proof that THM doesn’t have to be complicated or difficult to do. Here, let me prove it to you. Click the link for the video https://youtu.be/yRi4pR9fxTg
Don’t you just love those recipes you can just dump stuff in and go!? Well, I do. And if you see me pinning a bunch of stuff with a bunch of steps… I ain’t doin’ it! (to quote Heather Land!) She just cracks me up!
This meatloaf is easy and amazing!
Do you feel like you’ll need something sweet after this? Try these candies that are on plan!!
I know, I know, it’s not the prettiest picture and doesn’t look like those amazing cooking videos and pictures you see on Pinterest.
So there ya go y’all. You can do this Trim Healthy Mama! It can be as easy or hard as you make it.
But y’all, this was good!!! I agree, don’t drain all the liquid off because you’re gonna wanna sop some of it up and drizzle it over your meatloaf when you serve it. Yum!
Til next time, y’all.

Devine Shift & Alignment There are times when you will grow out of your current season, always watch for Alignment that will help advance your purpose for the Kingdom. It’s Divine Assault Time!!! It’s time to Break out of the womb and come forth into your Destiny and Obey God In July Geranium Women's Ministries had the opportunity to host our first "Lunch and Learn'. When we were given the mandate for the Ministry, God's directive was to "Celebrate Woman" and "Teach. " The thought of being able to continue the GREAT COMMISION through our workplace has been placed behind the yellow taped lined as we become more sensitive to peoples choices. The fear of offense and seclusion has stopped the pure meaning of God's intention for our live's, "to be relational". Although we are limited with the amount of "love" we can share with others, there are still Kingdom Principles that we can live by while in the Marketplace, This season God gave to us to Pray Prophesy and Purchase. We are to Pray for our needs, Prophesy to them (speak & declare things into existence) and then go out and Purchase (put in action). Each one of the speakers brought a Dynamic peace of encouragement and empowerment through each of the topics they spoke about. Each one of us has a special nugget of inspiration and impartation that can be applied according to our life's journey.
Once we realize our Purpose that God has for us, it sometimes looks different than what we are Passionate about. Once we have grasped our Purpose we are able to move more freely and stress-free into Possessing the land, the Full Harvest of what God has for us. Once we arrive into the Promised Land we must be willing to give back by Sowing into the community and through the process we realize just how Raw to Refined we have become.

The Prayer Exodus 3:7-9 The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. 8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey— the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. 9 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. The Prophecy Exodus 12:35-37 35 The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. 36 The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians. 37 The Israelites journeyed from Rameses to Sukkoth. There were about six hundred thousand men on foot, besides women and children. God will use feminine to bring you bank Deliverance is a new tax bracket. The Purchase Deut 2:2-6 2 Then the Lord said to me, 3 “You have made your way around this hill country long enough; now turn north. 4 Give the people these orders: ‘You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you, but be very careful. 5 Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own. 6 You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.”

What God is looking for regarding Worship?
Remember the woman at the well? She had a very interesting conversation with Jesus that describes in detail what God is seeking. Let's take a look.... John 4:23-24 " yet, a time is coming and now is, when true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. God is a Spirit and His worshippers must worship in Spirit and in truth." She asked Jesus should they worship here or worship there? I see it these days like this; people thinking worship is just in a church with a worship team, it's just music, it's just like this one sound or that one body of believers. Jesus laid out the formula for her day and every generation since then. He is looking for Spirit filled worship from a pure place of truth, no masks, no striving, no performance, no pitiful praise, but true worship!!!!!

Let's take a walk for a minute in the garden with Jesus....not just any garden, but YOUR garden! You may say to me 'but Jenny, I don’t have one'. We all have a garden it’s the place in our hearts that’s for the Lord. For some, its thriving and beautiful and they are now wanting to see different levels and realms of the garden. For others, it may be overgrown with weeds and not used much, if at all. No matter where you are at today with your garden we are all going to begin to examine the areas where we need to invite the Holy Spirit to take us up to new heights in our walk through this garden with Jesus. Think this week work on the Garden of the Lord by getting your hands dirty, and pulling up weeds and preparing the soil. Let's get started!! er eav W ny Jen

The Dance of Life
"Our lives may be full of those clumsy stumbles" Most of us have a running list of things to do. However, many times we get distracted the moment we wake. Our intention is to give our first and best to our Creator, but suddenly, there is a distraction. Then another and another. In an instant, the day we had envisioned has gone off course. Whether it be our spouses, children, work or ministry, there likely will be disruptions in our day. These interruptions cause us to step on the feet of this dance partner called Life, causing us to break our hold. But it’s all a matter of perspective. In the distracted moments, we can hold on to the things that are certain. We can hold on to the One that is certain… The One that never fails us. Our lives may be full of those clumsy stumbles, but we can rest easy knowing that our Heavenly Father sees it as a perfect dance with Him. The key is keeping our eyes are fixed on Him. When we do, He will turn our weeping into dancing. He is always there waiting for us to take hold of Him. He wants to adjust our posture into the stance of a beautiful waltz, despite the circumstances surrounding us.
As we embark upon our daily lives, keep yourself in time with Him. Take hold of Him. Stand on the feet of your Father and let him lead you like a little child through the chaos of the day, trusting Him in every step. There are many obligations, commitments and challenges that face us each day. Occasionally, we accomplish everything, but most times nothing seems to get done. Exhausted, we lay our heads on our pillows each night and reflect. In that moment we have a choice to make. Choose to be grateful. But how? How can we be grateful when we planned our day to flow like a graceful waltz, yet instead faced a clumsy stumble of chaos? Our “how” is answered in our Who. Our Who promises that our days will always be a graceful dance if we allow Him to take the lead. When He asks, “May I have this dance?” let your response always be “YES.”

#fillingthegap Keep It Shut by Karen Ehman explores how to better control your tongue, knowing what to say and how to say it, and realizing when it is best to say nothing at all. From Bible times to modern times women have struggled with their words. What to say and how to say it. What not to say. When it is best to remain silent. And what to do when you’ve said something you wish you could now take back. In this book a woman whose mouth has gotten her into loads of trouble shares the hows (and how-not-tos) of dealing with the tongue. Beyond just a “how not to gossip” book, this book explores what the Bible says about the many ways we are to use our words and the times when we are to remain silent. Karen will cover using our speech to interact with friends, coworkers, family, and strangers as well as in the many places we use our words in private, in public, online, and in prayer. Even the words we say silently to ourselves. She will address unsolicited opinion-slinging, speaking the truth in love, not saying words just to people-please, and dealing with our verbal anger. Christian women struggle with their mouths. Even though we know that Scripture has much to say about how we are—and are not—to use our words, this is still an immense issue, causing heartache and strain not only in family relationships, but also in friendships, work, and church settings.

Take the Next Right Greetings and Welcome! I am so delighted that you have decided to join me. It is going to be an awesome journey and one you won't want to miss. Hi! My name is DeAnna and one of my many passions is discovering and learning about this beautiful planet we call home. So who am I? Not professionally, but at the core of my heart, I am a bit of a historian, and a bit of an archeologist, and a bit of a few other 'ologists.' But mostly, I am a mom just like many of you and live a very normal routine life. I have kids, and dogs, and cats. I work full time, and then follow up my workday with mommy duties...the dishes, laundry, and cooking, etc. You get the picture, I am sure. Despite the busy-ness, at least once a day, I stop. I mean really stop. God commands us to be still from time to time and since he is the boss, I do. Sometimes I am just still, but usually, I pray. On occasion, I dream. One day recently, my mind was drifting back and forth between dream mode and problemsolving mode. It was a really long drive home so a bit of daydreaming was a nice way to pass the time but I needed to solve the issue of finding a name for this column. I had scribbled lots of good ideas down the day before but a Google search soon let me know that many of the good names were already taken. I offered up a quick prayer asking our Father for the right name knowing he would provide and then moved on in my thoughts to leaping giant pyramids in a single bound (more on that one in another post).

Suddenly, my mind was jolted out of my mental adventures by the voice in the dashboard. I call him Mr. GPS. Perhaps we should be on a first name basis since we spend so much time together. He was firmly telling me to "Take the Next Right". HMMM. A thought occurred. That's catchy. It's easy to recall. I said it back slowly to myself, savoring each word. Take the Next Right. That's it! Recalling my earlier prayer for a name, I realized that God had just provided so effortlessly the perfect name that I had struggled so hard to find on my own. Thank you, Jesus! Looking forward, in this space called 'Take the Next Right', we are going to live out a few of my dreams and hopefully some of yours too! Together we will travel to and explore places both near and far. Some places I will actually go or have been in the past, some places perhaps you will go and then return to share with us, and sometimes our journey will be a virtual one from the comfort of our most cozy chair. Sounds like a plan? I hope you are excited. I am! Let's get going! Onward to our Adventures,

Here in North America where I live, it is fall. This time of year is absolutely my most favorite. I love the cool crisp weather, hikes along leaf cover trails, crackling campfires, and all things pumpkin and apple! County fairs with their carnival rides and the sounds of children yelping with joy as they devour delicious sugar-dusted funnel cakes are a special delight! They remind me of yesteryear. Yes, fall more than any other season, takes me back to my childhood. My fondest childhood memories are of the annual Thanksgiving road trips to Grandma's house. Perhaps that is why I love fall road trips to this day. Actually, I love road trips any time of year, but there is something about Fall that especially stirs the explorer within me! The open road alluringly calls my name to come to travel it. My heart bubbles with excitement just anticipating what surprises may be just around the next bend in the road. It could be the thrill of finding a country store filled with fresh homemade pies (http://www.jaemorfarms.com/) or simply the beauty of an unexpected grove of trees adorned in their fall regalia.
The open road calls my name to travel it.

Most recently my delight was a barn. Yes, a barn. I'd seen this barn a few times before, but on this particular day it had a bit more special essence. In addition to the morning sun reflecting just right, a special four hooved friend had shown up to adorn the moment. Normally, this cow was not there. In fact, I had never seen a cow in this field EVER. I snapped a quick amateur picture as I savored the special addition to my photo. I've learned to cherish the simple delights for they are the seasoning of life. So how about you? What sights and sounds make your heart jump with joy this time of year? Whatever you delight in, I want to encourage you to get outdoors this fall and enjoy it! The opportunities are endless! If you want to stay close to home, your county's fair might be all the adventure you need or perhaps a local fall farm. They are easy to find by typing in the words 'fall farm' on your internet search bar. I found this one in Ohio that looks like a lot of fun! (http://bonnybrookfarms.com/FallFarm Days/)! It had several good reviews so I am going to add it to my road trip wish list. Speaking of farms, my kids especially like the cornmaze at Southern Bell Farms in McDonough Georgia (http://www.southernbellefarm.com/). For those of you who love hiking, check out this website called All Trails at https://www.alltrails.com/. It has tons of fall trail ideas for you to explore.

They even have a handy app you can download to your phone. Trails to waterfalls are my personal favorite any time of year! Finally, if you just want to get out and see the changing color of the leaves, try googling fall road trip ideas near me to find the best views of fall foliage near you. In the southeast United States a favorite is The Blue Ridge Parkway. You can learn more about this fabulous drive at https://www.blueridgeparkway.org/. I want to wish for you many wonderful fall adventures. I can't wait to hear about them ... and don't forget to 'Take The Next Right'!

Spiritual Mentors Understand GROWTH Some people understand growth—how it happens and why it doesn't. That's the particular milieu of spiritual mentors. Just as the horticulturalist monitors drainage around plant roots, types of soil and amounts of sunlight, mentors monitor how truth is being absorbed, what challenges are reinforcing or blocking those truths, and the critical timing of exposure to new and challenging principles. Spiritual mentors understand the biblical principles of how spiritual growth happens. Read what God says in Ezekiel 36:24-28 (MSG) “For here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to take you out of these countries, gather you from all over, and bring you back to your own land. I'll pour pure water over you and scrub you clean. I'll give you a new heart, put a new spirit in you. I'll remove the stone heart from your body and replace it with a heart that's God-willed, not self-willed. I'll put my Spirit in you and make it possible for you to do what I tell you and live by my commands. You'll once again live in the land I gave your ancestors. You'll be my people! I'll be your God!” In the passage above, God describes the process He used to bring His chosen Israel from a state of being unfruitful, overrun with weeds, and worthless to a state of thriving abundance. He lists five crucial steps in this transformation process. Wise mentors find instruction for their relationships with protégés in this passage. Pay close attention to the progression of these five steps.
8A R D E N | O C T O B E R 2 0 1 8 T H E 1G
Step 1: God says, “I'm going to take you out of these countries...” Wise spiritual mentors understand that real change happens when we move from an old, familiar culture and way of life to embrace the challenges of a fresh, new way of living. Step 2: God says He will “gather you from all over, and bring you back to your own land...” Spiritual mentors understand that protégés have been created with specific life purposes. A part of the transformation process is helping others discover their purposes so they aren't squandering their life resources on irrelevant activities. They are able to gather their time and efforts in a focused way and direct them into the life God destined them to live. Step 3: God says, “I’ll pour pure water over you and I will scrub you clean...” The challenging principles and truths that mentors introduce are designed to wash away old mindsets and methodologies. Spiritual mentors understand that only God's Word is Truth. What He has spoken over protégés must replace all faulty self-images and life paradigms. Step 4: God promises that He will remove the stubborn, “self-willed” heart and replace it with a brand new yielding heart...one humble enough to be led into His wisdom. Spiritual mentors know that this is the true turning point in the process of change. Old behaviors and thought patterns must be willingly surrendered by the mentee in favor of God’s truths. Only the protégé can allow that to happen. It cannot be legislated by spiritual mentors. When they have received the new, yielding heart, the transformation process begins to gain momentum. Step 5: The transformational grace God promises is that He, Himself, will come to inhabit the protégé for productivity, longevity, and intimacy. He says, “I'll put my Spirit in you and make it possible for you to do what I tell you and live by my commands...” Wise spiritual mentors monitor and encourage the progress of each step. They understand, that in the transformation process, God is saying: “I will move you from outdated methodologies and old fruitless thought patterns. I will gather you with focus, and prioritize your values for the purpose. I will cleanse you of shame, condemnation, and false limitations. I will break you from your willfulness and give you a heart of yielding for wisdom. Then I will inhabit you for Zoe life, productivity and intimacy with Me.” Spiritual mentors understand that growth God's way is the only prosperous way to move protégés out of the mundane and into the significant. That is real and meaningful growth. Until next time, remember that God has a means for YOUR momentum!

What makes some art prophetic is that the inspiration for it comes from the Holy Spirit and that God speaks through it. It should always be edifying, comforting or encouraging. If touched by the hand of God, prophetic art can release healing or power or emotional freedom in a way that spoken words can’t. It can bring an awareness of beauty or awe that really can cut between bone and marrow and get right to the heart of a person’s soul.

If Holy Spirit partners with the artist and imparts His presence into the work, it can be an instrument of healing, revelation or an encounter long after the work is created. The Garden
