Hardware Show
New dates for The Hardware Show - November 2021 Hardware Association Ireland are delighted to report resounding support for the decision taken to reschedule The Hardware Show 2021, www.thehardwareshow.ie, to the new dates of 14th & 15th November 2021 at the Citywest Exhibition Centre. The show will run on the Sunday & Monday as normal. The decision was taken considering the continued uncertainty brought on by COVID-19. We can report that not only have the vast majority of exhibitors agreed to support this move, we have also seen an increase in the number of new bookings since the new dates were announced. We can also report that our event partners, EventHaus Ltd, have been working tirelessly with the Department of Business Enterprise and Innovation to draft a set of protocols and guidelines for the safe running of trade fairs and exhibitions. This work was recognised by the present Government within the recently published “Resilience and Recovery - Living With
Covid-19” plan where it is laid out now that trade fairs and exhibitions will be allowed to restart once the country is back in Level 1 or 2 and once the event is held in a large purpose built exhibition venue such as the Citywest Exhibition Centre. We are also monitoring trade fairs which have restarted in other European countries such as Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. These fairs have been run in a safe and controlled manner within guidelines similar to the ones that will be used at The Hardware Show next year. We will continue to monitor trade fairs especially within the Hardware/DIY sector and any positive learnings will be considered for our own event next November.
