honey, im in love with the law library again

This is a poem about a person; One with an ocean of feelings; Each semester, their pain will worsen; Oh, those ancient, off-white ceilings;

It’s not just about the books; Hidden, there are small signs; Secluded corners where no-one looks; Monotonous journal designs;

Computers unused since Public Law; Just too narrow a staircase; Assignment doubts continue to gnaw; A student stuck in the rat race;

This is not where the mind turns; There are tables and study rooms; And friends to ease concerns; With whom the future looms;

It is for these reasons; This feeling can’t be arbitrary; Throughout all the seasons; I’m in love with the Law Library.
