Once upon a time there was a poor man who lived on a farm. He worked with the animals he had on his farm and with the fruits he planted. Unfortunately, every day was poorer because the land and animals did not give him profit, he could barely survive. One day in the morning he went to see if one of the hens had already laid the eggs, when entering the corral he observed that there was an egg that was not equal to the others; when you lift it, notice that it weighs too much and that the egg has a yellowish color. At that moment the man thought it was a golden egg and he got very happy. Then the man goes to the village and they exchange his egg for money and immediately buys food and clothes to take to his farm. He was very happy for what was happening. The next day he went to see what was going on with the chicken and he noticed that he replaced another golden egg; he walked to the town to exchange that egg for more money. Many days passed in which the same thing happened; the man went every morning for his golden egg and thus easily began to become rich Many months later the man was completely happy for his new life due to the money he had earned from the eggs laid by the chicken. As time passes, the man changes his attitude, becomes rude, arrogant and thinks that his life is resolved thanks to his hen, but he assumes that a single egg that lays the hen is not enough. little by little he begins to despair and one day it occurs to him that if he cuts the chicken in half he will lay two eggs; So the next day he goes to where the chicken is and cuts it into two pieces. Unfortunately, nothing came out as he thought, by cutting it in two pieces the chicken died and was left with nothing. Without the chicken and no more golden eggs. Because of this, the man fell into ruin, getting poorer because he had many debts and finally had the life he had before. Sad, poor and alone in his little farm. Moral: when those who have plenty want more, they lose all they have.
