Name: Mrs Mutui. Title: Head of the science department. Subjects taught: Chemistry and biology (104 to 404). Class teacher of...: Form 2M. They are neat, hardworking and competitive; no same girl leads every term. Matron of: CU and Junior Achievers. Motto: To inspire the young to become better, especially to break girls from the myth that they can’t perform well in sciences. Boys or girls?: It’s my first time teaching an all-girl school. I was in a mixed school before I came here. I found that the boys’ classes (streams were separated into sexes) were more lively and active. Boys usually try to impress female teachers. I found that I had to really struggle to get the girls’ interested in class. Advice: Students should use their time well in school and avoid negative peer pressure. There’s a time and place for everything.

@BeaconEA

Hi, I am in Form Three. All my classmates seem to have a cool lifestyle. They party every Friday and roll with cool phones and really hot mamas. I feel so left out. The last time I tried to join them, they told me that to join their “Cool Group”, one has to register with 5K in order to be connected to a rich sugar mummy to be sorting them out financially. I can raise the money, but I am scared of the outcome. Please advise me. Robert Hi, First, I applaud you for being very open. Not every student who finds himself or herself in a similar scenario is able to share it with people. Second, you need to find out your priorities. You are in school. Focus on school now; do not let peer pressure derail you from achieving your goals. Third, and finally, do not give out money in order to be hooked up with a sugar mummy. It will just go to waste. You can seek advice from teachers you trust. Ed

How to get any girl you want

By Okumba Okumba

One of the most common mistakes that guys make is giving up pursuing girls before they have even started, because they think that attractive chicks are only interested in men who have good looks and money, or guys who are a certain height, or guys who are a certain age. Sure, there are some girls who are only interested in these things. But most chicks are far more interested in a man’s personality than his wallet or his looks. There are personality traits that attract chicks like a magnet. If you learn what they are and how to use them, you can be one of these guys. You do not have to “settle” for a chick just because you are not rich, tall, or handsome. Let me say this again: if you know how to use your body language and communication correctly, you can make chicks feel the same kind of powerful sexual attraction to you that you feel when you see a hot, sexy girl. This is true. The looks and money barrier is just a social construct of your own making. I know lots of guys who are neither good-looking nor rich yet who get any girl they want, all because they are cool, interesting guys. For guys, it is hard to imagine this as being true, because if we see a chick we do not find attractive, we do not want to sleep with her. She could be the coolest chick in the world, but if we cannot get a boner because of her, we would not want to have sex with her. However, the same is not true for girls. Chicks do not get boners. They get aroused in different ways, and this is what most guys fail to understand. When a girl says, “Oh, I’m not attracted to short guys”, that is not necessarily the truth. It just means that short guys do not make her feel the same way that tall guys do. But if a tall guy were to come and make her feel the way she wants to, you can bet the barn she is going to fall for him, despite his height. It is all about having the right frame of mind and the right beliefs. For more playa tips, visit www.theinsyder.com. The Insyder Magazine - Dec 2014/Jan 2015 | www.theinsyder.com | 11

20 Drama fest 2014 What’s drama fest without drama? As the name goes, the festival comes with its own share of drama. This year it was no different. Everything was ok till the last day of the festival, when Dagorreti High decided to have some party, like we say work hard party hard. Little did they know this party would land them into a big problem. Apparently the party went too maard that it almost got out of hand. According to reliable sources, Ditches almost burnt down Kagumo High School domitory, literally. This saw Ditches getting expelled from Drama Festival over gross misconduct. This meant that they never came to know how they performed. Dagorreti will be in the cold for next two years as they serve their two year ban. Next time you decide to go partying, don’t add, paper, leaves and firewood!

We rate and state who’s who in the entertainment scene based on the people, places and events that made a bang and left an unforgettable mark in 2014. They are the newsmakers, movers and shakers in entertainment -2014’s Super 20!

Sema Duramaa!

This list is entirely confined to the impact created upon teeniez. Those featured in it may not necessarily be the best at what they do, but their presence, commercial success, sociocultural influence, social esponsibility, general popularity and appeal are immense.

Bahati

Octopizzo has proven yet again that he knows what he is doing and that he is here to stay. He is one of the few artistes who have a swag that matches their style of music. 2014 was a great year for him as he released songs that were all hits. The “black star”, as he calls himself, is now relaxed and enjoying being one of the top hip hop artistes in Kenya. The most memorable event for Octopizzo this year out of the studio was his beef with fellow rapper Khaligraph Jones. We were all waiting for it to get ugly but it did not as Octopizzo opted to lie low. We look forward to a great 2015 for Namba Nane. Bahati has once again proved to every Kenyan teen that nothing is impossible. The “Barua” hitmaker deserves all the credit and recognition he has received. His recent song “Visa”, which features Citizen TV reporter Willis Raburu, shows that this gospel artiste of many abilities. 2014 has surely been a great year for Bahati. He is no longer living in people’s shadows. Rather, he is the main man in gospel, if the awards he has received are anything to go by. We wish him nothing but the best.

Nokia Lumia

Karis As comedy grows every day, so do the artists involved in it. We have new entrants who are promising to take the industry to new heights. Karis is a standup comedian whom we came to know through the “Churchill Show”. He is talented and knows how to engage the audience. “Hambari Ngani?” he asks. Then he tells us about his granny and her stupid thoughts. If I were to narrate the same content to you, you would not get the joke. I guess this is why I am sticking to writing. Karis is a comedian to watch next year. He could be taking the throne from Churchill.

Nokia Lumia is one of the trendiest phones of 2014. It allows you to do things that you never imagined you could. You can charge the innovativelydesigned Lumia using a wireless charger. The phone allows you to stream music for free. You can easily create your own channels. Put on your headphones and play. Just one click of the camera takes a series of photos. Then you can merge them into one, so everyone in the group looks their best. The Lumia is big, better and faster. With this phone, you do not get to miss out on anything.

Hambari Ngani?

15 Statoe Girls Queen of Apostles New ride

Victoria Rubadiri

Seminary Secondary School

Did you know you can get a new ride simply by petitioning the Prezzi? This was the most pleasant surprise for State House Girls who had requested the president to help them replace their aging bus. They even wrote a poem to the first lady on the same, and their prayers were heard and answered almost immediately. If you have an aging school bus, simply request the Prezzi to help you replace the aging bus, make the Prezzi promise, do a poem to the first lady and chill. And pap you will have a bus, it seems like the Prezzi listens to the wishes of the teen’s wishes.

Being the prezzi’s neighbours does pay!

This mama is the reason dudes are glued to their TVs at prime time. One would think it is for the content, but ask a dude what the day’s news was and all you will get is, “ahhh, ahh, unajua…”. She has been the hottest news anchor this year. We a love the way she combines her beauty and brains when anchoring. Victoria comes out as a strong woman who knows what she wants and what she is doing. When it comes to chemistry in the studio, she makes a great partner. She comfortably fits in with Larry Madowo, who is also a star. The two have changed how we view news. Victoria is headed to greater heights. Only time will tell.

‘Kookoo’

Twerking

This dance was made popular by Miley Cyrus last year. It will not go away, at least not for now. Ladies love twerking and tweaking the twerk to make it look cooler. The dudes love watching the ladies twerking. This dance is just crazy.

Twerk, really?

“I’m going kookoo coz I love you / I’m going kookoo, nasijishuku, coz I love you” “Kookoo” is the third single off Elani’s debut album “Barua za Dunia”. Sung mostly in Swahili , the song captures the essence of what it feels like to be in love and be loved, in all ways imaginable. It is backed by a track that sounds even better when clapping and tapping your feet along to it. It is an assurance to the listeners that everything will be just fine and will remain perfect. “Kookoo” begins in a slow pace that is soothing -- the best track for an evening relaxation. The song is definitely a hit; an addictive tune.

11 Upper Hill Secondary School’s basketball team

They have their game on. This year the team was at it again. They are the national and also east African champions. They know how to humiliate their opponents with mad skills. The team consists of humble players who are easy to work with. They do not feel like the celebrities they are. When it comes to AND1 skills, “Upper be the teacher”. The team members are amazing. They can, dribble, dunk and humiliate opponents. We are looking forward to seeing how far they will go next year.

Larry Madowo

We can comfortably say that Larry Madowo is the king of TV. Who thought that watching news could be fun? He is a force to reckon with on TV. His show “The Trend” is one of the most watched TV programmes. Larry is transforming news. His style makes us smile and even laugh. He is also big in social media. Larry has a huge following on Twitter. This shows how big and influential he is. He deserves a part on the back this year.

9 DJ Joe Mfalme

DJ Joe Mfalme is a king for real. We probably know him from his crazy mixes on Capital Fm, where he is a resident DJ. We all love him, don’t we? This year was a good one for DJ Joe Mfalme. Apart from receiving mad love from his fans and winning awards, he got a chance that any deejay would die for. DJ Joe bagged a deal with one of UK’s biggest television stations, Box TV International, where he plays African music. Let us hope that come next year, he will take the industry to the next level.

Big up to this humble and talented guy!

‘Dabotap’

When I first heard this song, I knew it would be a hit. It is not only funny but relatable. Who does not dabotap? Hands up! No one. Everyone is into that culture, especially #TeamMafisi. You are on Instagram and you see a hot mama, you just like it. It is on Instagram that you get to like strangers’ pictures and get away with it. The song is all about relationships on social media sites, particularly Instagram. Instagram is the in thing…and we “double tap” to like a clip. The song capitalises on something we love -- our weird behaviour of liking the images we see and love. The flow by Mejja, Madtraxx and Kora is just awesome. “Dabotap” is a funny song that tells our story. You see yourself in the song.

Instagram

This is the deal. Take pictures, share them with your friends and give no room for stalking. So you are in a bash, and you want to tell. Well, not tell, but show what you are up to. And you want to do this instantly. Here is the solution: Instagram, or IG, as it is commonly known, is the way to go. Take pictures and share them instantly. Who is still on Facebook? And based on the maker’s description, it is a fast, beautiful and fun way to share your life with friends and family. Take a picture or video, choose a filter to transform its look and feel, then post it on Instagram. It is that easy. You can even share your clips on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and more. Instagram is a new way to see the world. There you go. Join and follow us.

Lipala is the special dance for the song “Sura Yako” by Sauti Sol. It is a traditional Luhya dance that entails coordinating the movement of the hand and leg. Lipala enables people to move around and mingle as they express their joy and happiness in dancing. Forget about twerking, lipala is more “tsunamic”. The dance sparked an online drive dubbed “lipala movement”. We wonder what the Sauti Sol have in store for us in 2015.

5 WhatsApp

Rabbit Last year, Rabbit stated he was in the big league. Well, this year, he has proven that he is the king as far as hip hop is concerned. Rabbit is a humble artiste who knows how to charm his fans and never disappoints when he is on stage. He has the energy to put the stage on fire and leave you yearning for more. This year was a big one for him. He had a very powerful campaign for the teens, dubbed Six Colors. Through the project, he dropped a new song and video every month.

WhatsApp is the ultimate solution to the problem of your mum invading your privacy and literally stalking you on Facebook. With this application, you can chat with friends, create groups for your crew and share stories, just as if you are having a face-to-face conversation. Did I say you can even share photos on this platform? WhatsApp makes interaction simple. Since privacy is key, you do not have to worry about your mum. With Facebook, you do not know who is watching. WhatsApp is the best communication app ever. However, it is so addictive that you will sleep and wake up with your phone in your hands. As a result, be sure you will be arguing with your folks very often. Imagine chatting with your girlfriend then your mum calls you. You do not hear her because you are lost in the conversation. This can make mama angry, and it can land you in s**t. Another thing: you risk crashing your phone, especially if it is a kamchinku.

Way to go, Kaka Sungura!

Lupita Nyong’o

Churchill Churchill has remained relevant in comedy. He is funny and knows how to reinvent himself. Churchill enters this list not as a comedian but a mentor and a key relevant party in entertainment. He has nurtured talent and given a lot of young people opportunities. The likes of Eric Omondi, Sleepy, David the Student and Chipukeezy partly owe their success to him.

“When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child that no matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid. Thank you.” When Lupita said this, she meant it. For a girl from Africa and the 254 to be specific, to win an Academy Award is not just an ordinary thing. This was her year. She turned out to be the most talented actor this year. If all the accolades she has in her bag are anything to by -- from the Oscar to a BET award -- Lupita has definitely placed the 254 on the global map. She is just amazing on the camera and off the camera.

Sauti

Sol

When Sauti Sol released “Nishike”, most of us, especially boys, were up in protest. We had nothing good to say about the group. Little did we know that they were working on something that would be an anthem. “Sura Yako” is not only a great song but one that is Sauti Sol -- it defines them. Such music is what made us love them from the word go. The song is amazing and its lyrics are simple, catchy, believable and relatable. What’s more, its video is genius!

These boys have made Kenya proud.

You are awesome! Keep rocking!

Sauti Soul:

S

auti Sol, 254’s most sensational African acoustic and Afro-fusion band. An award winning and multi-talented East’s Africa most celebrated Afro-pop band whose music is uniquely soothing and well-rounded with a blending warm resonant and mélange of energetic rhythms encompassing a mix of soulful voices with vocal harmonies, guitar riffs and drum rhythms. The multi-talented Sauti Sol is nothing you have ever experienced before. The African acoustic band consists of Baraza, Chimano and Mudigi met while in High school(Uppah) where they formed a music group called Voices of Light in 2005. Soon than later, they met guitarist Otieno, who attended Strathmore School, at the Alliance Francaise in Nairobi becoming a band group of four members. The band is inspired by the choices, consequences and challenges that the Kenyan youth face and the need to revamp the music industry with a different unique sound that cuts across all age groups.

the afro pop kings

Musically, they are inspired by Fadhili Williams, Daudi Kabaka and other established African artists such as Salif Keita and Lokua Kanza. Alliance Francaise in Nairobi has been their haven. They were finalists of the Spotlight on Kenyan Music 2006. They have had several shows at the Alliance Francaise since 2006, and in 2008 April held their first solo-concert at the same venue. The response has been magnificent and overwhelming. Their music is uniquely soothing and well rounded. Some of their songs are Nairobi, Subira, Wangeci, Asubuhi, Zosi, Mapacha, mafunzo ya dunia, Sunny days, Wera, Asante Sana Baba, and Mushivala Nishike and their latest Sura yako which has received massive airplay. Individually each member is a graduate from their various Universities they attended where Chimano attended the University of Nairobi (UON) for a degree in Journalism, Mudigi studied banking and accountancy at African

Nazarene University, Otieno is a graduate of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) with bachelor degree in Actuarial Science and lastly Baraza is an alumni of United States International University (USIU) having studied Journalism. Sauti Sol released their debut song and first album – Mwanzo, on 4 August 2009.Two years later, on 25 February 2011, they released their second studio album – Sol Filosofia.Their third studio album, which is yet to be titled, is set for release this year. In the long run some songs in these albums have earned the band a number of accolades, awards and nominations. The band has had successful tours around the world, topped Kenyan charts and gained international attention. The group is definitely set for the stars and we expect them to keep releasing hits after hit… you better watch this space because they are definitely Kenya’s Best.

THE ABORTION DEBATE

Away with the uniform

In September, Jackson Tali, a nurse, was sentenced to death after being found guilty of carrying out an abortion on a teenager five yeas ago, leading to the death of both the mother and the foetus. Students of Huruma Girls High School share their view on the matter. By Thomas Rajula Weeee harakisha twende

Our picharazzi catches up with some teeniez as they prepare for the Dec holz. Boy, isn’t everyone happy to get out of school?

I wonder if the parents knew. If they did, then they should have shared the punishment. If they didn’t, I can only imagine the pain they feel at losing their girl this way. The doctor deserves what he got. Parents should give teenage mothers help in raising a child, since the deed is already done, and they can go back to school after they finish nursing.

Vanessa Waigwa (104)

How could he accept to perform an abortion on an underage girl? It goes against the constitution, the Bible and Kenyan societal norms; it’s killing somebody! The doctor should take responsibility for the consequences of his actions.

Elizabeth Gateto (104)

Pumu guys are at the wrong stage

38 | The Insyder Magazine -Dec 2014/Jan 2015 | www.theinsyder.com

It was totally the doctor’s fault…. He should have advised her on other options to make a future for herself. Action should be taken against anyone who encourages young girls into aborting. I feel so sorry for her parents to have to go through such a loss.

The guy thought he was trying to help the girl. I think girls should avoid abortion because you could die.

Abortion is illegal and the doctor knew that. The girl died, which the doctor also knew the consequences to. I think this was a murder case in the judge’s eyes, and I agree with the sentence.

Winnie Mwathi (304)

The judgement was correct and should serve as a lesson to others. I think girls should be helped to make other choices besides aborting when they fall pregnant and no one should aid them in getting abortions.

H

e is the reigning Gospel Award winner for the Xtreem Teeniez Gospel Awards. His genre of music is gospel genge. And he won the Mavuno Teen Rapper of the Year award in 2012. Silvah Mistarish (real name Charley Andrews) started singing while in Class 7, but became more serious about it when he joined Machakos Boys School, where he used to record music using instrumentals from Jamaica. Despite using instrumentals that the society ocassionally terms “secular”, Silvah always freestyled in gospel. He received a lot of support from the school’s principal, who always knew his talent would take him places. Silvah became very popular in Machakos county because of his style of music. He is a student at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, where he is pursuing a degree in information technology. He is also a certified programmer and a Symbian application developer. SIlvah’s latest single, “Shadow Madow”, has taken the gospel airwaves by storm.

40 | The Insyder Magazine -Dec 2014/Jan 2015 | www.theinsyder.com

The singer tells us more about himself. Why the name Silvah Mistarish Silver is an expensive ornament. Mistarish came from the artiste’s unique talent of playing with vocals, hence the name Silvah Mistarish. Inspiration Life inspires this guy. People who live with a purpose inspire him a lot. He is the ambassador for Young Stunner Clothing Line, Kenya. He is the brain behind the comical track, “Ujinga Ni”. He creates political anthems in universities. And he has two singles coming soon andplans to collaborate with two major stars. An advice to all upcoming artistes “Education is key, study as a duty to mankind and then talent comes later,” SIlvah says. Five years from now He sees himself as being the best gospel artiste in Kenya. And he hopes to have started an antijigger campaign. On being featured in ‘The Insyder’ “I’ve always dreamt of featuring on ‘The Insyder’ magazine,” SIlvah says. “It was and still is the dopest teeniez’ magazine. I’m very humbled to be here.”

Name: Agnes Muiruri School: Katchez Gee Form: 404 TITLE: OUR LOVE People say our love is freak, Their comments make mi squeak, I believe that what we love is strong, And that its going to last long, Becoz what we have is real, And that’s is not a deal. Our love is like that of Cinderella, Only that you are my umbrella, You are my knight and shining amour I just want to be n your arms, Just like the only snow white, One word for our love, ’ALRIGHT’ I know our love is crazy, But what binds us is not lazy, Even if people say its not right It is worth our fight, Two of us have equal might, Our love is that tight.

You went away even without a farewell, Stopped my world to its very roots, Searched my soul but I found no excuse, Do you really have to do this to me? Stop the stupid act, let’s get to reality, You said you love me it’s just words, Nothing to prove it, guess it isn’t us, Yet again maybe you did, We got close overtime; yes we did, I ain’t taking anything for granted, This just proves that I am obsessed with you, An obsession of love, On that has a special spark, I hope it won’t die off, I know you won’t die off, AT LEAST NOT FOR NOW.

Jina La Msanii: Deno Cool Reppin’: Mutige Bee Track: “Jesus is the Life Essence” Jesus is the life essence With him you’ve got no expense No expense while in his presence He came and stood before all mens N like little kids in silence He taught us that salvation is heaven’s license For God so loved the world so now or hence People may come back to their sense He’s watching us like a magnifying lens Hoping the day we would realize that prudence Aint no common sense God is coming but do not tense Just ask 4 forgiveness n go on with the trends Of praying, u need to commense.

December birthday mates

October

Gemini (May 22-June 21)

Sometimes things don’t go as smoothly as planned. And there are times when things don’t go smoothly at all. But that doesn’t mean you need to give up on it. You just need a little more faith and time. Try again. You know what they say; the third time’s the charm!

Taurus April 21-May 21 Posers are so lame. You really can’t stand them. Open your eyes, Taurus, ‘cause a friend in your life is a mega poser. You haven’t been able to spot it because you thought they were a sincere and genuine people. Don’t blow up their spot just yet.

Scorpio (October 24-November 22) You’re a naturally friendly person so it’s really easy for people to assume you’re flirting with them. Your friends know you so it’s no big deal, but you should watch yourself when you meet new people. You don’t want peeps to think you’re flirting with them.

(September 24-October 23) You’re a really passionate person and when you believe in something you just have to voice your opinion! You need someone in your life who will support you and your outspoken ways. Keep your eyes open for guys with leadership quality today.

Raheem Sterling (December 8) Ellie Goulding (December 30)

virgo (August 24-September 23) You made friends with someone recently and you guys are totally hitting it off! You two think alike and just get along so well, it’s shocking. Your other friends are a little jealous of your new relationship, but once they see what a fab person your new friend is, they’ll be gung ho about her, too.

SAGITTARIUS

You’re stretching yourself too thin, Pisces! It’s true that you have tons of things to do and little time to do it, but there’s no need to go crazy here. There’s time to get everything done. All you need to do is plan ahead. Take a little break and give yourself a break.

Take charge today, Sag! Don’t do things because people tell you, instead do them because you want to. Take a leadership role and delegate. You don’t want to be in the back seat forever! Climb in the front, decide on the direction you want to travel towards and get moving!

(June 22-July 22)

Don’t do anything without planning first. This means steering clear of anything spontaneous and sporadic! If a friend asks you to do something that’s very last minute, you should think twice about it. It’s probably a bad idea to steer away from your planned out day.

Psy (December 31)

(November 23-December 21)

(January 20-February 18)

Your friend is obsessed with someone at the moment and it’s all he/she ever talks about. They talk about them so much that you know every minor detail about this person. You’re sick of hearing about the infatuation! You want your friend back -- the one who was actually fun to hang out with.

Fuse ODG (December 2) Christina Aguilera (December 18)

(December 22-January 20)

Parents, teachers or other authority figures really get you wrong and leave you feeling misunderstood and a little bitter. Yes they have underestimated you, but you haven’t explained things in a calm and rational way either Capricorn. Walk away until things are calmer tomorrow.

Alexis Sanchez (December 19)

Aries (March 21 - April 19) Lucky for you, you won’t have to worry about cash for now. You’ll have some dough coming in soon so just stop worrying about money. Remember to put some aside for a rainy day. You don’t want to blow it all today and end up back in the same sticky situation.

Nicki Minaj (December 8)

Jay Z (December 4)

Jamie Foxx (December 13)

Leo (July 23-August 23) You need new angles and new ideas during the holz to keep things fresh and interesting. Try spending time with people outside your normal friendship group for a bit of a change of mental scene.

boy talk

Hey,

Do I move on Or continue trying?

I started dating this girl a while ago and things were great. She told me that she was falling for me, and I was falling for her, but then a mutual friend of ours started telling her that I did not like her and that I was cheating on her. We tried to work things out, but we eventually broke up. A few months later, we got together and things were once again good. She told me again that she was falling for me and that she had not liked anyone as much as she did me. The mutual friend was out of the picture and things were good. But then another mutual friend came between us. We were good for a while and then I went to my ex’s to get some of my stuff. Well, the mutual friend told the girl I was dating at the time that I went to my ex’s to get some stuff and it hurt her feelings and we eventually broke up. I still have feelings for her. I really do. I want to be with her but I do not know how she feels. I tried to call right after we broke up but we did not talk. I think it was too soon for us to talk. We did this the last time we broke up. We went about 2 or 3 months without talking or anything and then we got back together. I know that most on-again, off-again relationships do not work, but I know some that do. I want to be with her; I really do. I like her a lot. I think I may even be in love with her. I just do not know what to do. I have been told that since I am the one that initiated the breakup, she is waiting for me to call her. What do I do? How long do I keep trying before I give up? Jeff (404) Jeff, It is indeed frustrating to fall in love with someone you treasure so much then a third party comes in and spoils the bliss that comes with being in a relationship. The issue that seems to be affecting your relationship is your inability to communicate with each other with regard to your lives. In many relationships, interference from others is common, and learning how to deal with this is very important. It would be important to sit down and talk with each other and agree on the best way forward. Understand that she may either accept to get back into the relationship or move on. In the meantime, both of you should swallow your pride and make that important call that will open a forum for conversation and help you make a decision.

Girl talk

I want to date a boy my friend is interested in Siz, I have a friend who likes a certain guy. She asked me to talk to him. I started talking to him as I wanted to get to know him a little. Now I cannot stop thinking about him and he feels the same, I think. But I am not sure if it is right to date him. Help me.

Anne (404) Hi, It is normal to feel the way you do because you have interacted with him. It is normal to be curious whether the person you are attracted to also feels the same way. The only way to find out is through communication. You feel a need for you to stop being interested in him simply because he is your friend’s choice, but do not feel guilty about this. We cannot choose whom we like. You do not have to remove him from your life (unless you want to). Be happy for your friend. Tell the guy about how she feels -- at least you will have done what she requested -- and let him make a choice. If you have an affair with him, chances are that your relationship with your girlfriend will become strained. You may develop feelings of loathing and jealousy for your friend if he eventually chooses her. Do not let your feelings for him make your friend’s relationship with him awkward. It is okay to be his friend. This is the best part. Call us on 1190 for more information and support. Big Siz
