How We Met
Alan and I met 10 years ago through the varsity basketball program at University of Western Ontario. Three years later, I asked him out (he’ll tell you otherwise, but trust me).
Wedding Style
We wanted something that lasted more than a few hours and felt super intimate. We rented a property for 30 people and invited who would have been in our wedding party, plus our parents. Everything matched the chill, vacation-y vibe.
Wedding Must-Haves
Kick-ass outfits for us both, personalized vows—when else would we cry and promise to unload the dishwasher in exchange for folding the laundry?—and a throwback playlist.
Beauty Pick
Eyelash extensions for the wedding day— the Bahamas in summer is hot. I knew I would sweat off any makeup.
