Armidale Rural Referral Hospital and Armidale Community Health • January 2022 intake. In JHCH rotations can be in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), outpatients department, school room, and oncology day stay unit. In Maitland Hospital rotations can be in the paediatric ward and Special Care Nursery. • four educational study days throughout the year • provides guidance in relation to their ongoing career and professional development pathways, including interview preparation techniques, post graduate tertiary study options and career options both within John Hunter Children’s Hospital and externally. • After completion of GradStart program, opportunity to undertake Transition to Paediatrics program with JHCH.
• February and August 2022 intake • 12-month temporary full-time positions only. Consideration will be given to reduce the hours of the contract to 0.8 FTE upon discussion with the Nurse Educator and Director of Nursing & Midwifery. • A rotational program involving acute and subacute clinical areas within the Sector facilities such as clinical experience in medical and surgical environments, with 2 additional rotations comprising of specialised services and sub-acute clinical areas such as ICU, Emergency and Maternal Child and Family Health.
