Issue No. 73 of the Moodboarders recognizes two recent losses: design giant Alessandro Mendini, who left us on February 18, 2019, and fashion legend and brilliant photographer Karl Lagerfeld, the very next day. We are putting Mendini’s last work on display, and doing the same for Lagerfeld, who recently delved into the design world, creating an elegant collection of furnishing and marble accessories for Paris’ Carpenters gallery. Following Mendini’s lifelong example, we also have projects and products that take on impervious imaginative challenges, proving that man is capable of making incredible things.
