had to market your business in 2020 or 2021. Not only have we continued to evolve as a society, but COVID-19 threw a curveball into most businesses market strategies. After being on lockdown for most of 2020, we avoided the outside world. We stopped picking up magazines, newspapers, the solicitors stopped but one thing kept going..the internet. Regardless of what's happening in the outside world, the internet was always there. If you haven't already, make the transition to the digital world NOW! This includes outlets such as: 1. 2. Be Open to Change We ALL had to make some pretty big changes last year- especially businesses. We had to completely change the way we ran our businesses in order to survive the COVID-19 Pandemic. As a business owner, you have to be open to drastic change and always be ready for change. Be open and willing to reaching out for support in areas you have identified as your weakness. 3. Say “no” to bad ideas. Although us marketers are creative and strategic folks, not every idea we have is brilliant. In fact, sometimes we have to come up with plenty of bad ideas before striking gold. That’s why you have to be honest about the quality of the ideas presented to you. If your marketing team pitches you an idea that doesn’t feel right, say so. Don’t agree to a bad idea because you feel you should.
UPGRADE YOUR MARKETING AT KP MARKETING, we align & provide the right elements of marketing that can result in a highly successful and results-driven campaign. I love co-creating with bold women who are here to lead with intention and impact.

1. Tell us about yourself! I am transparent, authentic, fierce, fearless, focused, and faithful. I am told that my personality naturally draws people in, and I am always the person in the room having the most fun. I love to laugh, and I enjoy life to the full. I am married to Kevin Dudley and have two adult, fun-loving children, Alexander and Dominiq. Plus, most people don’t know but I use to be a competitive swimmer and still hold city records four decades later. Find me an Olympic size pool and I’ll meet you there. Many people call me the audacious advocate. I will advocate on behalf of anyone who needs a lift in life. I have a love for promoting others and seeing them soar. I am an encourager. I will advocate for you, your purpose, your business, your writing, your nonprofit, your voice, your vote, and your life.
2. When did your passion for news and politics start? I grew up wanting to be an attorney to help people who needed an attorney but could not necessarily afford one; however, I knew that I would have difficulty passing the bar. Succeeding at testing has been a struggle of mine since grade school. So, I turned to politics and advocacy. Between my college courses and working as a volunteer on community initiatives and political campaigns, I found a way to make my mark doing something that I love. The passion is real. People see me radiate the moment I start talking about the political landscape and community engagement.

3. With so many other great live news shows on social media, why should someone choose to watch NIM? News in Motion was a radical departure from my previous endeavors. In June of 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I spoke with a couple of friends of mine one night about politics, and they encouraged me to go live on social media. They thought I should use my platform to share with my followers what I knew and how we could help people become registered voters. The following morning, I went live. To my surprise, I had ten or so people tune in. The next day I thought, “I’ll go live again.” More people tuned in, and soon thereafter, people were sharing the live feed and starting to interact with me. News in Motion is an aggregated media outlet sharing relevant commentary and a call to action mixed with an inspirational message advocating and shaking up the status quo. I have a very loyal and engaged audience across multiple platforms. My viewers have become my family. I pride myself on inviting guests to the table to introduce them to the world. That’s my gift as a promoter and encourager. You want an audience? I will put you in front of key people. That’s who I am and what I do - all while bringing you factual news that uplifts and inspires with a call to action. doing something that I love. The passion is real. People see me radiate the moment I start talking about the political landscape and community engagement.

PAS 4. What has been the biggest challenge of running NIM? News in Motion is a grassroots media organization. The biggest challenge is consistently financing the platform. We want to do so much more, but our finances are holding us back to some degree.
5. Where do you hope to see your brand in the next 3-5 years? I dream of scaling my brand to an internationally recognized platform. Before COVID-19, I was traveling the world as a speaker. From Zimbabwe to Jerusalem to Berlin and throughout the United States, I spoke to large Christian audiences on prayer, discipleship, leadership, and women’s ministry. Now, I desire to do the same, covering voter education, civic engagement, serving as a political analyst, and advocating for social justice with News in Motion as the primary platform.

SION 6. Why did you choose entrepreneurship?
I’m way too radical to sit behind a desk. When I was younger, I would go with my grandfather and father as their business manager. Seriously. They would paint and wash people’s homes. I would help with taping the baseboards, and once I finished, I would give the project invoice to the homeowner and communicate payment expectations. I loved entrepreneurship even when I didn’t know I was doing it, and if possible, I love it even more now. I’m a visionary. I see something, and I go after it.
7. What advice do you have for the next generation of entrepreneurs? To the next generation of entrepreneurs: Enjoy the ride—failures, opportunities, successes, frustrations, difficulties—all of it. You don’t grow if you don’t fail. And by all means, be yourself. Never try to mimic someone else. The world needs YOU.
