Under the per tinent provisions of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722, other wise known as “Higher Education Act of 1994”; Republic Act No. 11649 other wise known as the “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act”; and by vir tue of Commission en Banc (CEB) Resolution No. 412- 2020, series of 2020, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University- Molo (JBLFMU-M) embraced paradigm shift in the educational system as mandated by the said provisions. The first semester of School Year 2020-2021 started on August 17, 2020, wherein the first two weeks were dedicated to understanding how the JBLFMU e-Learning (JeL) platform works. “The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ronald Raymond L. Sebastian, gathered the Executive Council Members and the Academic Heads of the University to deal with the new situation brought about by the pandemic.
