Ban Duae Communitybased tourism

Ban Dua is a small village, 24 kilometers from Nong Khai town, established in 1836. The village is located next to the Mekong River. There are large and small trees growing by the water and most of them are local fig trees or “Tohn Maduea” in Tha. Tha’s why local ancestors named this community as “Ban Duea” (Fig village). Fig symbolizes village identity. It is produced into differetnt goods available for purchase as community products accordingly.
