live for summers in Central Oregon. Shedding the layers, moving dinnertime outdoors and soaking in the long hours of daylight suit me just fine. Central Oregon morphs into a magical realm come June. School concludes and there’s nothing quite like a family summer vacation to bring everyone together. Whether flying or driving, planning wisely goes a long way toward enjoying the trip.
