Shattered Dreams

Roman Manaois, a 20-year-old graduating college student, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen. He was riding a tricycle to the public market of Dagupan City and sharing a ride with his neighbor, Zaldy Abalos, who was allegedly involved in drug trade. Gunmen came and opened fire apparently targeting Abalos before turning to Roman and shooting him twice. Found on Roman’s body is a paper with the written words: “Don’t emulate me. I am a drug pusher. I am a killer and you’re next -DDS.”
