Parenting is one of the most rewarding and challenging jobs there is. Having a new baby and raising children brings great changes to your life, with a range of emotions and many questions and decisions. Along with our clinical nurse who looks after the well child checks, we have a community support co-ordinator who is on hand to help you with other milestones that happen with our younger children. Based at 51 Ardmore Street, Upper Clutha Plunket is a not-forprofit organisation and is supported by our local community to keep our rooms operational. The rooms are used as a clinic base for our nurse and also a space for our community support worker to hold classes and workshops, along with the public having a drop in sanctuary. The rooms offer a small playground, changing facilities and also a space to feed babies and young children. By helping Plunket you will help generations of kids in the Upper Clutha get the best start in life.

Thank you Yvonne returned from Auckland a couple of weeks ago with a positive prognosis from her double transplant. We wish to thank all those special folk, many unknown to us, for their support over these last three long months. Your prayers, your lovely messages of support, your kind thoughts, the meals and baking often left by unknown folk at our back door since our return, offers of help and visits etc have been truly humbling for us and a huge part of Yvonne’s path to wellness.
