Mr David Merrilees, a urologist & member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, has acquired impeccable credentials in urological surgery whilst training in the UK under two internationally renowned urologists, David Neal and Christopher Eden.

His training focused on open surgery with emphasis on bladder, prostate, kidney and testicular cancers. Further training, also in the UK, under Christopher Eden, involved

learning laparoscopic (keyhole surgery) techniques to treat prostate, kidney and other disorders of the uro-genital tract. Laparoscopic surgery is recognised as a minimally invasive procedure and is David’s sub-speciality area of interest.

HOUSING ASSISTANCE? Community Housing Trust – Information Evening

The Queenstown Lakes Community Housing Trust (QLCHT) was created to manage and deliver affordable housing solutions to those vital to the community who cannot afford it. The intent of the Trust is to provide housing for low to moderate income households through a range of programmes such as Affordable Rental, Rent Saver and Shared Ownership.

There are a number of eligibility criteria which can be viewed on the website www.qlcht.org.nz The Trust currently houses around 65 singles, couples and families throughout the Queenstown and Wanaka districts. Thanks to developer contributions the Trust will have resources to assist more households in the Wanaka area over the next 24 months.
