Wanaka Garden Club Turn 60!

In 1963 a group of gardening enthusiasts made the decision to formalise the gatherings of like minded people, thus forming the Wanaka Garden Circle. Nola Aubrey of Cattle Flat Station recalled attending a meeting at a fellow gardeners home over 13 years earlier. Other founding members were the Manson sisters Phyllis Aspinall and Joan Robertson Over the years many garden lovers have been part of this group.
