online THEY ARE AS DANGEROUS AS HITLER OR STALIN WAS If you were to ask one of these radicals if he or she is patriot they would quickly hoist an American flag high and wave it at you. If you produce a copy of the Constitution they will swear they would defend it to the death. If you ask them if they believe in Equal Rights and Freedom of Speech they would swear by the grave of someone dear to them that they do. Oh yes, they will loudly proclaim that they are fullblown Americans, dyed-in-the-wool patriots. They are such good Americans they want prayers said in school. That is, of course, basic to their Christian beliefs; oh yes, the majority of them declare a loyalty to a religion. Most of them even attend a church regularly and send money to some filthy rich crook posing as a television evangelist to demonstrate what good people they are. They all expect to go to Heaven – as unlikely as that may be. Why is it unlikely? Well according to the King James version of the Bible Jesus said, “A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another ; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” The book of John 13:34 It may sound good but for many pretend patriots it is an impossible commandment to obey. Why? Because if you do not vote their way, if you do not adhere to their extreme, unbalanced, radically leaning, twisted version of what the U.S. Constitution means they will do all in their power to destroy you, to prevent you from having a voice

in the very government that guarantees all men equality. Religious freedom means you are free to believe as they do but not differently. They possess perverted minds when it comes to fairness. They cannot love someone who is a different color, they cannot love someone who votes for a different party than they do. They can quickly overlook the faults of the guys their party likes but they can just as quickly condemn a man in a different party for doing a lesser evil. They love the Bible but they also like sexual freedom, as long as the neighbors don’t find out. They love the Bible but they also like drunken forays and inflicting pain on people who are hungry and poor. They will forgive any sins of anyone no matter how great – just so long as he is a member of their own extremist political party. They are they hypocritical extremists who want everyone to toe the line; they themselves are exempt from any such restrictions. They call themselves patriots but in reality they want the country ruled by a single party a quasi-dictatorship where no one can vote except for those who meet with their approval. They would surely like to take over American just as Hitler perverted the laws of Germany so he could force everyone to live in his perverted manner. HATE-HATE!!

WEXF0RD HEALTH SOURCES WAS

REMOVED IN NEW MEXICO THIRTEEN LAWSUITS MAKE A POINT Fairness demands that the facts be examined before pointing fingers. In Illinois prisoners of the Illinois Department of Corrections have been found guilty of a crime before a judge and in some cases by a jury.

It then becomes a balancing act on the part of the private firms to juggle the cost of inmate care with their profits. It seems in some cases that profits hold a higher priority than healthcare. In the event a company contracts with a state but fails to perform according to accepted medical norms it might find itself guilty of fraud for taking money under false pretenses. The State of New Mexico learned the hard way that placing the healthcare of inmates in the hands of Wexford Health Sources, Inc. may not be the answer to solving the problems associated with providing medical attention for prisoners. In a 2009 article the Albuquerque Journal said: Wexford Health Sources was cited often for problems when it held the contract to provide health care in New Mexico’s prisons. It eventually lost the contract.

A judge sentenced those convicted of crimes to serve specific terms in confinement. Their punishment has been set by the court and no additional punishment may legally be inflicted upon them. Prisoners unquestionably surrender their liberty, certain pleasures, and entitlements when they enter prison to serve their sentences; they do not surrender their rights under the United States Constitution. Although many in society may loath persons convicted of crimes it is not up to corrections officials, doctors, or healthcare providers to punish them beyond the scope of their confinement. Courts do not sentence people to deprivation of food, shelter or medical attention. Some states have turned to private companies to supply healthcare for people confined to prisons within their states. The plan, of course, is to take a major headache off the back of the state. In doing that companies such as Wexford Health Sources, Inc. are paid significant sums of money to provide the healthcare for inmates of the various institutions.

A May 2007 audit by the Legislative Finance Committee found gaping holes in the delivery of care provided by Wexford, including too few physicians, dentists and optometrists on staff, according to two prison health experts that visited five facilities in February and March of that year. Wexford also failed to issue timely reports on 14 inmates who died at correctional facilities in 2006, the audit found. The following is excerpted from the Santa Fe Reporter in New Mexico: (read on line, click here) In late 2005, Dr. Gayla Herbel, then the regional medical director for New Mexico's prisons, says she noticed that inmates' tuberculosis tests seemed to be coming back from the nursing staff too quickly and in too large a volume. One afternoon, Herbel says, she randomly chose an inmate whose files indicated he'd tested negative for the disease. According to Herbel, the inmate told her he'd been injected with tuberculin solution, but no one had ever examined him after to read the results of the Continued on Page 5

Thirteen New Mexico Lawsuits Illinois Citizens Should Not Have To Pay For Wexford Wrongs test. When Herbel reviewed the inmate's medical ***image3***charts, she found he'd actually been treated for tuberculosis within the past six months. Herbel says she subsequently discovered the files of an additional "handful" of inmates who'd never been properly tested. "'If this truly is falsification of the tuberculosis testing and it is the norm, we are at risk for an outbreak,'" she recalls telling a colleague. The Santa Fe Reporter, a New Mexico Award Winning newspaper, ran a series of 15 articles regarding the questionable healthcare that Wexford Health Sources,

Convicted former Governor Blagojevich got $38,000 from Wexford.

Inc. provided to New Mexico prisoners. Prompted by those articles the New Mexico Department of Corrections began investigations into improper inmate healthcare through the Courts, Corrections and Justice Committee . Ultimately that committee recommended cancelling the contract with Wexford. The allegations against Wexford came from former Wexford personnel who came forward to denounce the care provided by Wexford. The Santa Fe Reporter is quoted from an October 2006 article: Norbert Sanchez, a nurse suspended by Wexford in

September after an alleged dispute with health administrators, spoke at the hearing about problems he witnessed at Central New Mexico Correctional Facility in Los Lunas. Sanchez recalled witnessing a wheelchair-bound inmate who sat in his own feces for hours and a sick inmate who missed critical doses of medicine for congestive heart failure. Sanchez also expressed concerns that echo those raised previously to SFR by other former and current Wexford staff: a systemic lack of medical supplies, failure to properly dole out prescription drugs and reluctance to send sick inmates off-site for specialized treatment. Though he was the only former Wexford employee in attendance, Sanchez referred legislators to a packethe'd disseminated with testimony from current Wexford employees. Those employees feared retaliation if they came forward, Sanchez said. ACLU New Mexico staff attorney George Bach testified that his organization has been hearing similar concerns from Wexford employees and that many are, indeed, afraid to go public. Illinois houses some 48,000 prisoners. The cost to feed and care for them is estimated to be $1.6 billion dollars. We formerly reported that Wexford donated $10,000 to former Governor Rod Blagojevich, that total, however, rose to $38,000. That is a small price to pay for a $ 214 million dollar contract. You are paying those costs. It is your dollars that go into the Wexford Health Source, Inc., bank account. You, the taxpayer, will pay for any court judgments that are levied against the state because of the healthcare rendered by Wexford. You should be livid to hear that what occurred in New Mexico be being repeated in Illinois at this very moment. Illinois is broke. It is billions of dollars in debt and services are being curtailed and staffs cut to help dig ourselves out of a financial hole. Should its citizens now have to pay for any alleged misconduct on the part of Wexford Health Services?

Avoid these mistakes on your tax return (ARA) - The average American spends approximately 12 hours preparing a Form 1040 income tax return, according to the Internal Revenue Service. With so much time invested, the last thing you want to do is make a mistake on your tax return - especially one that delays your refund. Fortunately, several of the most common mistakes made on tax returns are simple in nature. For instance: * Incorrect Social Security numbers. They must match perfectly with what's on Social Security cards because the IRS compares tax return information with the Social Security Administration's database. * Misspelled names. All names on returns must also match Social Security cards. Pay special attention to dependents' last names, as those tend to be misspelled. * Filing status errors. If you're not sure which of the five statuses you are, see IRS Publication 501. * Miscalculations. In addition to math errors, taxpayers often miscalculate amounts related to their taxable income, withholding and estimated tax payments, the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Child and Dependent Care Credit, the standard deduction for age 65 and older or blind, and taxable amounts of Social Security benefits. * Incorrect bank account numbers for direct deposit or payments. Double check the routing and account numbers for your financial institution so that you either receive your refund in a timely fashion or pay your balance on time (thus avoiding penalties .

and interest). You can prevent a lot of errors like these by simply not rushing, says TaxACT spokesperson Jessi Dolmage. "Prepare your return when you have the fewest distractions. If you're interrupted, stop and come back to your return later, or even the next day. You don't have to do your taxes in one fell swoop. "Another easy way to avoid these types of errors is to use a tax preparation solution," states Dolmage. "Online and download solutions like TaxACT allow you to import information from last year's return, which reduces the chance of mistyping key information. The programs also provide step-by-step guidance while completing the forms and math for you, and they check your return for errors and missed opportunities." Regardless of how you prepare your taxes, print and review the

information on your return before filing. When you're ready to file, e-file your return. Unlike paper filers, you'll receive confirmation when the IRS receives and processes your return. Combined with direct deposit, you can have your refund in as few as seven days. Dolmage adds that the IRS won't send you a notice for overlooked tax breaks. Software solutions like TaxACT help you take advantage of all your tax breaks. If you're not using software, watch out for these tax credits (a direct reduction of your tax liability): the Child Tax Credit; the Child and Dependent Care Credit; higher education credits; the Saver's Credit; and energy-saving credits. Don't let your money manage you (ARA) - As the United States, one of the world's wealthiest countries, struggles with debt and a still-uncertain economy, Americans are closely watching the steps our leaders are taking to address long-term fiscal problems. The state of our nation's economy has also caused many individuals to reexamine their own personal finances and money management plans. In a new book titled "Wealth: Is It Worth It?" the founder of Chick-fil-A, Inc., S. Truett Cathy, examines the potential dangers that accompany the pursuit of personal financial success. In a video message on WealthIsItWorthIt.com, Cathy says, "We are misled to think money will bring happiness." Having grown up in a financially poor family during the Great Depression, Cathy now owns the Atlanta-based restaurant chain with annual sales approaching $4 billion. Using his own life lessons as inspiration, Cathy shares the following money management tips in his new book. Earn money honestly - There is no substitute for hard work. Cathy worked behind the counter of his momand-pop restaurant for 21 years before he opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant at the age of 46 in 1967. Find balance - Find work-life balance by remembering, "What's Important Now - WIN." Cathy says there were times when his family had to suffer due to his absence for work, and other times when his business had to suffer because his family needed him. Save reasonably and spend wisely - Everyone needs a budget. Create a plan for spending and saving that allows you to buy the things you need and put enough aside for long-term requirements. Shop smart - Buy the things you need on sale. Even now, Cathy likes to buy his clothes on sale and his cars used. When shopping with his grandchildren, he takes the opportunity to teach them to only buy what they need. Manage risk - Avoid unnecessary risks. While we can't avoid all risks, Cathy says too many people take on too much risk in their desire to generate more wealth. He notes instead of saving money to create wealth, people borrow money to create the appearance of wealth. Likewise, companies, in an attempt to grow bigger faster, borrow more money than they can manage.

Think long term - Set long-term personal and financial goals. Cathy, who interviewed former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy about the definition of success, points out that according to Sports Illustrated magazine, 78 percent of professional football players are bankrupt two years after they retire. Poor investments and poor spending decisions too often cost them everything. Cathy says to stay focused on your long-term goals rather than compare your progress to others, referring to Chickfil-A as the "tortoise" in a race with a "hare" competitor in the '90s. Give generously - Don't wait to start giving. In the book, Cathy also interviewed billionaire investor Warren Buffett, who says giving to others is a philosophy he and his wife decided on back in their 20s. Cathy says the happiest people he knows are those who give away their money and the saddest are those who hold their possessions in their hearts instead of their hands, or who hoard because they fear what the future may bring. "Money and possessions for their own sake are a hollow victory," Cathy says. "Real victory is what you do with the money, not the fact that you have it."

The dirty truth about fleas Find out what could be hiding in your home

(ARA) - When fleas are spotted in the home, it's our pets that take the blame. But did you know that for every flea you see, there could be a much bigger problem hiding in the bedding, carpets, furniture and floorboards of your home? The truth is, flea eggs, maggotlike larvae and pupae represent 95 percent of a flea infestation, and they thrive not on your pet, but in the places your pet likes to snuggle - on the couch, under the porch, even in your bed. A problem waiting to hatch Within as little as eight weeks, just two fleas can produce up to 2,000 eggs. Your pet shakes these tiny white specs off himself and into your home where they quickly develop into maggot-like larvae and spin silken cocoons, becoming pupae. In their pupae stage, fleas can lay dormant for up to a year waiting for the right conditions to hatch into adults. That means, as long as you have eggs, larvae and pupae hiding in your home, you're always at risk for a sudden, itchy infestation. Consider these uncomfortable facts from SentinelPet.com: * The adult fleas a pet owner sees represent only 5 percent of the flea population. The other 95 percent eggs, maggot-like larvae and pupae hide in your home. * A female flea can lay up to 50 eggs a day.

* Eggs hatch into maggot-like larvae in two to four days. * Larvae are repelled by light and burrow into the fibers, cracks and crevasses of your home. * In their cocoon stage, fleas can lie dormant in your home for up to a year. Why infestations thrive Most flea products only treat adult fleas. The eggs, larvae and pupae are allowed to thrive in your home, hatching into repeated adult infestations. Not only do many products fail to prevent an infestation, they also leave a sticky residue on your pet that can wash away, or rub off onto furniture, carpets and even children. To truly prevent an infestation, you must break the flea life cycle. And that means killing flea eggs and larvae before they become adults. Break the cycle The way to prevent a flea infestation is to rid your home of developing flea populations. That means making sure those flea eggs

never develop into nasty maggotlike larvae. Many veterinarians prescribe an insect growth regulator to stop flea eggs from hatching. When female fleas feed on your pet's blood, they'll pass on potent killing power to their eggs and any existing larvae that feed on excreted blood. Products like SENTINEL (milbemycin oxime/lufenuron) Flavor Tabs even combine flea prevention with heartworm and internal parasite protection in one monthly tablet. Before peak flea season hits, talk to your veterinarian about making sure your home isn't playing host to a vicious flea infestation cycle. To locate a veterinarian or get more information on protecting your pet and family from parasites, visit www.SentinelPet.com. Dogs must be tested for heartworm prior to use. In a small percentage of treated dogs, digestive, neurologic, and skin side effects may occur. Please see full product insert for more information.

Health & Wellness Breaking the Cycle: A

Weight Loss Success Story

At just 24 years old, Heather Latif found herself upwards of 230 pounds and diagnosed with high blood pressure - the same condition she's watched her mother and grandmother suffer from her entire life. Heather had been uncomfortable with her weight for years, but was stunned to be facing this serious health concern at such a young age. While Heather's diagnosis may have been alarming because of her youth, she's far from alone in her struggle with weight. In fact, over two-thirds of U.S. adults are overweight or obese. 1 According to a study recently published in the American Journal of Preventative Health, obesity is almost as much of a public health threat as smoking. 2 Heather decided it was time to break her family's unhealthy pattern. "I knew I needed to become more active and develop a healthier relationship with food." She joined several exercise classes and began watching her calories and fat - but she still wanted additional support. With her doctor's approval, she started taking alli, the only FDAapproved over-the-counter weight loss aid, to help boost her efforts. In conjunction with a reduced calorie, low fat diet and an exercise regime, the pill and online behavioral support program gradually helped her become more conscious of the foods she ate and, in turn, make healthier choices. In less than a year, Heather lost more than 30 pounds and achieved a normal blood pressure level. Her success also changed her outlook on life and feelings about herself. "The difference the weight loss has made in my life is incredible," she says. "I'm more positive, lead a healthier lifestyle and I'm significantly more active. I've also gained the confidence I need to be more social." Studies have found that anywhere from two-thirds to 95 percent of dieters eventually regain the weight they lost. 3 To avoid that fate, Heather says she is still taking alli and the pill remains a key tool to help her make lasting, positive

change and achieve the personal weight-loss goal she set. For more information on how alli can help boost your weight loss success, visit www.myalli.com Heather Latif has received compensation in the form of free product and related travel expenses from GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare. alli is a weight loss aid for overweight adults with a BMI of 25 or greater. alli is taken with a reduced calorie low-fat diet. Results may vary. In clinical studies, alli users lost 510 pounds over six months. References: 1. Flegal, KM, Carroll, MD, Ogden, CL, Curtin, LR. Sarah Palin Guilty of Major Ethics Violation When Sarah Palin announced that she would resign as the Governor of Alaska on July 3, 2009 it was amid 15 pending ethics complaints against her. Now she has been found guilty of violating the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act. Palin established a private legal defense fund that she tagged Alaska Fund Trust (AFT) while she was the Governor of Alaska. She alleged it was to fend off political attacks on her. Palin who rode the coattails of Senator John McCain to national fame during the 2008 Presidential campaign returned to Alaska to find that she had lost much of her insider support and saw her approval rating dwindle from an impressive 90% to about 50%. Soon after that she announced that she would not make a run for reelection to the Governor’s office and surprised many by announcing that she would resign and not complete her term for which she still had 18 months remaining at the time of that decision. Much of that was probably due to her often blundering responses to media questions. During the 2008 campaign she came under fire after allegations of abuse of her office as governor were brought in what was to become known as the “Troopergate” scandal. It was alleged that she used her office to bring pressure to bear to have her sister’s ex-husband fired as a state trooper. The report of that incident said, “I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute AS 39. 52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act …” The current finding of guilty of violating the same act was rendered by the same man who issued the first finding in

the Troopergate scandal, Timothy Petumenos, Independent Council for the Alaska Personnel Board. The decision by Petumenos means Sarah Palin will have to return #386,000 in contributions made to her AFT. Andre McLeod, government watchdog said, "Never has a governor lowered the bar as low as Palin has when she breached the public's trust over and over again. Her arrogance, sense of entitlement and recklessness while doing the people's business sets a very bad precedent. "For her to be portrayed as a role model by the media is an absolute travesty. The more people find out about Palin...the more they learn that a 'servant's heart' does not beat within her." Palin is now asking for public funds again. Father Angry - Continued from Page 3 Strom Sr. says he visited her local office two times and was given the same response; however, the last time he was there he accidentally encountered McAsey in the parking lot and spoke with her. According to Strom McAsey told him it was in the hands of the Illinois Department of Corrections and she would be unable to help him. She would do nothing. Strom was angry over that because he already knew that officials can inquire into the actions of the department of corrections because the Governor, a State Senator and the Inspector General’s Office had already promised they would. Strom is upset because he believes his state representative is just unwilling to do what she promised during her campaign “to help people” or is, perhaps, lazy. He also noted that perhaps she will not question the ethics or actions of Wexford Health Source, Inc., because she has a background as a prosecutor and may be blinded to searching for the truth. We attempted to get a response from Emily McAsey’s press person Tom Wogan but have gotten no response.
