SoccerSixFest

2017 is a year to remember for many aspects of British music, including the underground alternative rock scene’s live music inter-active collective of multi talents - many of whom are part of this story, and repped at Soccer Six Fest, friends uniting informally for a Sunday kick-about. Everybody’s a talent. Front page image; Annie and Harley.

Start with a party space. Invite friends.

Musicians on a Sunday morning. The definition of confusion.

Members of the bands YVES and Avalanche Party. Not tuning up to play‌ Gearing up to play!.

Alongside the football games, were autograph and selfie opportunities (this page) and live performances all day (next page; singer, song writer, musician and Roundhouse Resident talent ModupĂŠ)

Participating music industry teams included End Of The Trail Records FC and Northern Exposure FC.

It’s a great day of playing, yelling, laughing and sportsmanship on and off the pitch (above, John Clay - a.k.a. Underground music channel; Clark Kent’s Rock n Roll Revue - is on the ball with Joyzine FC). It’s a full day of tournaments, and one of the winners, The Darkness, are (deservedly) crowned Champions of SoccerSixFest

On or off a pitch, or stage, The Assist are real winners.

Congratulations to all Soccer Six winners, participants and supporters. The new rock’n’roll underground are making a difference - with their refreshingly positive attitudes, credible compositions and confident performances. Looking back, today was a day off having a kick about for rush of best new bands and buzzmakers. Bringing their love peace and bonkers vibes, they helped put the “fest” in SoccerSixFest…

Cheers and Lotsa ( “Poc’n’Roll”) love, xxx

Sunday September 17th 2017 It’s been a load of fun. Many people on and off the pitch were already Ones To Watch for 2018 when these informal pics were snapped. TheZineUK caught a lot of these great musical talents live on stage, at festivals. Heard astounding anthems, and they bring this tale to life. Guitar band rebels. Take note, also, of the fans, the producers, writers, photographers, film/video makers, DJs, labels, visual/audio and image creators, industry and independent media that support and report. A few are captured in the following pix. In the digital age, their analogue word of mouth is still also sharing news on the grandchildren of the underground ®evolution. If you already admire these fresh forces of nature and enjoy the tunes, drive, DIY chic, passion, iconic moments (and accidental comedy galore), then you’ll know… …It’s been a load of fun.

There’s nothing like chilling on a Sunday afternoon with friends. Peace.

Heart Warmers.

Bring On 2018.

Music is also the beautiful game. Snapshots n chat by Caffy St Luce. What happens next? Keep an eye on TheZineUK and friends.
