Joyzine has established it’s non-advertising driven passion as a key music media. Definitely a 20th anniversary to celebrate in 2023. Alongside fresh finds and faves, this is a documentary, so the promoted and promoters who inspired us to start reporting on a palpable artivists movement are never treated as disposable, out of date fodder. Some are on stages with wider attention, other are developing stories maintaining fans with high calibre music.

Being working class led, the necessarily DIY movements in the arts are dramatically cross-breeding economic, educational, employment and reputational potential against the backdrop of threats to venues.
