Time management
As part of the develop mastery sessions, time management becomes one of the most important skills to grow as you want to be one successful professional or entrepreneur.
There are some personal time management strategies that if you apply, you can increase your productivity by two or three times your actual performance, just by practicing one at a time.
Time management shouldn’t be just something to do one time and you forget it. It should become a habit. It should become part of yourself, then, you don’t have to think about it, and you will be on automatic on your way to success. Practice them as many times as you need until it sticks you your mind.
Develop mastery: manage your time
Time Management Strategies
1/3
1. When you have a task at hand, the first thing you should do is: make a decision about that task, and I mean, are you going to do it? Can you delegate it? Is it important or urgent? Then if it is your responsibility then do it, or delegate it to someone else. This little action will save you lots of time.
2. Do you know where you are going? Write your goals and objectives. If there is something you need to do, if it helps you to reach your goals, then it is something to put into priority, if not, can someone else do it?
3. Start your day by knowing what you should do. Even if you plan it last night at the beginning of the week or as soon as you wake up, take some time to plan your day, and stick to the plan, this will keep you organize and will free you some stress.
4. After those filters, classify the tasks at hand as urgent or important (at least). Find a mix to do both. Which one contributes to your income? And attend it as needed.
5. Start with the ugliest task you should do (the one that you like the least). After that, you will feel you can do everything and you will avoid procrastination. At the same time, you’ll free stress early in your day and will make it easy.
Don’t hesitate in executing your task and develop those habits, those time management skills will improve your performance and your life.
