Art Antwerp Intro event Diamonds for Life to assist the ongoing works of Belgian Cancer Foundation ‘Kom op Tegen Kanker’ Highlights for TM-ART Fine Arts International’s February Event: Diamonds for Life, an Intro to Art Antwerp International Art & Design 2014 Cultural Fair Antwerp, Belgium, January 29, 2014 In order to promote the Art Antwerp International Art & Design 2014 prime event this June, TM-ART have organized and will be hosting an extraordinary introductory event at the Royal Historic ‘Paleis op de Meir’ in Antwerp, Belgium, from the 8th to the 13th of February, 2014. On the opening evening, a first VIP reception will be held, wherein a live classical piano performance will be given by Maestro Gabriel Meiring. Acclaimed artists Thomas Maes and Gabriel Meiring will showcase their exclusive selection of paintings, illustrations and sculptures for the duration of the event. On the evening of the 10th, an exclusive group of artists and designers have been invited to show select works within the Palace. A second VIP reception will be held in their honour. Diamonds for Life VIP receptions will include standing dinner, live music, art and jewel exhibit, cocktail service, special guests and much more. During the event of the 8th of February, TM-ART Fine Arts International will hold a charity auction with full donation to the Belgian cancer foundation ‘Kom op Tegen Kanker’. Additionally, during both black-tie receptions, the Napoleon Museum within the palace will be open and offering tours. Diamonds for Life reception tickets are available for purchase online, from which a portion will be donated to the same charity. A limit of 60 tickets will be available for sale for each of the two VIP receptions. Aidi Yupri. Alongside this international slate of artists, showcasing their unique 100 facet diamonds, Michielsen Manufacturing & co. (Antwerp, Belgium) will be joining Diamonds for Life, as of February 8th. Creators Alastair Laidlaw and Christine Marsden completed the project in just less than 6 years. Dreams of Diamonds is one of the most beautiful books’ in the world, it is also the largest book ever produced on diamonds. Published as a limited edition, with each image exquisitely created and featuring many of the most magnificent diamonds of all time, quite simply it stands as a unique work of art.
A significant number of copies from the edition have already been distributed to many of the major libraries, museums and diamond institutions throughout the world. The book will be on display to the public for the first time at the prestigious Diamonds for Life event at the Royal Paleis op de Meir.
