“Our experience was the best we have had. It will require extensive therapy to deal with the fact that I can’t live like that every day. I truly believe it was because the staff sincerely cared about my experience. All of them added a level of comfort, convenience, and assistance that I have never experienced.”

We believe the big dogs aren’t all on Wall Street

some are in Winter park

Our home in Winter Park near Orlando, is a Floridian oasis, where pristine lakes, abundant outdoor spaces and stately oak trees dot the landscape. Bricklined streets, beautiful homes and fine boutiques along Park Avenue lend our town a sophisticated, creative aesthetic. From here, we thoughtfully seek out sought-after destinations where we can create comfortable private resorts and residences for our Owners and guests. And since 1999, we’ve been incredibly fortunate have many individuals from around the world become a cherished part of our Timbers family.

Park Avenue
Winter Park, Florida

Labors of love

are crafted one piece at a time.

Our approach to development has long taken a separate path, one quite different and in sharp contrast to the world of increasingly homogenized resorts, which tend to be organized around preconceived master plans and pro formas.

Actually, at Timbers, there is no formula. We are guided by the place, and the land directs our vision. Take for example, Timbers Kiawah, mere steps from a 10-mile stretch of low country beach, where Owners enjoy a clubhouse and an exquisite maritime setting, inside and out. There’s adventure aplenty just outside the resort, and inside, it’s both open to ocean views and private. There are 450 acres at Hokuala on Kaua‘i, with award-winning golf, a Private Residence Club and lavish amenities set within a natural oceanfront amphitheater. And there is the expansive Casali di Casole, featuring restored farmhomes, vineyards, orchards and a hunting preserve spread out over 4,200 acres in Tuscany.

Each of our resorts is a reflection of their unique setting, inspired by the architecture, art, culture and lifestyle of the locale. To us, it’s always been vive la différence. However, as different as our resorts are, they all share a uniquely appealing character intrinsic to the destination.

We are the stewards of the land.

Is there such a thing as a true environmentallyconscious developer? We’d like to think so. We are inspired to not only protect and preserve, but to operate with great sensitivity to the precious properties we’re fortunate to have in our portfolio. In Tuscany, organic and biodynamic olive orchards and vineyards comprise much of our estate and will forever. At Botany Bay, we worked with archaeologists, botanists and local historians to preserve, protect and enlighten those who visit this special place.

Acute environmental awareness is more than something our Owners and guests expect, more than our responsibility — it’s part of who we are.

The best places to call home

are where memories are made.

It is the little moments we cherish forever. The stuff of social posts and scrapbooks. It’s that first family run together down a black diamond slope. A birdie on an oceanfront par three. Swimming with the dolphins. It’s everyone all curled up with popcorn and a movie. It’s the magic that brings us back to favorite places again and again. It’s where we feel like a local. And why we put down roots.

Families choose to own second homes because home is where memories are made. It’s where hugs replace texts, where smiles replace chores, where the kids actually get along, where parents finally relax and generations reconnect. These are the places Timbers creates.

Our aspiration is to create resorts that families return to in every season, year after year. Once we’ve identified that most perfect place, we then craft the resort and experience to be a reflection of its unique setting, informed by the vocabulary of architecture, culture and lifestyle. Nothing is forced, the watchword for every step is authenticity. Yes, we infuse our own signatures, but in the end, the enduring popularity is that our resorts are appreciated as lasting assets for the community and a family legacy for our Owners.

The most welcoming hospitality

Bricks and mortar may define the eye’s first impression, but it is the hand extended and smiling faces that warm the heart and soul. Valets greet you by name upon your return. Fresh flowers welcome you inside. A special vintage is remembered and perfectly chilled. From housekeepers to chefs, an entire staff arrives with a passion to serve. The result is a spirit that brightens and enlivens every day, making you feel immediately right at home.

Gracious and genuine hospitality is the intangible quality that seems to so effortlessly cross mountains and oceans, creating a singular Timbers experience around the world. We apply the enduring attributes of our distinctly residential experience to a portfolio of equally remarkable hotels.

Mindful of what makes our residences so special, our hotels have made a dramatic impression on the hospitality industry, the travel press and most importantly, our guests. Approachable, comfortably luxurious and warm, they’ve been recognized not only as standouts in their locale, but in all of the world. The Sebastian — Vail has been named the #1 Resort in Colorado by Condé Nast Traveler, among other prominent accolades, while Casali di Casole has been noted by Travel + Leisure as the #1 Resort in Europe for six years in a row. We have a wealth of prestigious awards and accolades to our name, but smiling Owners and guests will always be our biggest reward. always makes you feel right at home.

We believe

we’re never closer than when we’re on the lift.

From its signature namesake property in Snowmass, Timbers Resorts has elevated the concept of the private boutique ski resort to a fine art. Along the way, we have shaped our own brand, a lifestyle and residential flavor that makes each property unique and completely satisfying. This begins with the mantra “location, location, location,” which in the mountains means “slopeside at the lift” and at day’s end, “point me to the hot tub.”

It extends to the warm smiles and roaring fires that welcome each returning family. The Timbers Club in Snowmass, One Steamboat Place in Steamboat Springs, The Sebastian – Vail and Dancing Bear Aspen all bring new luster to what are already North America’s favorite ski towns. And so, whether the slopes are green, blue, black or double-black, our ski valets are always there to greet you at the end of the day.

the colorful life in the heart of vail village

Iconic Vail, with a twist

Richly and imaginatively appointed, colorful and pulsing with life, Vail’s most exciting destination is The Sebastian — A Timbers Resort. Inside this icon of Vail Village, everything is stylish and exhilarating — an eclectic confluence of approachable chic and high mountain comfort. The amenities set the stage — Bloom Spa, The Gambit Bar, the inviting Library when it’s time to be social, and our signature restaurant, Leonora, where the cuisine is as dazzling as the mountain views.

The Sebastian is Vail’s hippest boutique hotel with 84 rooms and 16 executive suites that are crisp and refreshing with all the intimacy, elegance and comforts of home.

Leonora, an Alpine Bistro and Tapas Bar, offers world-class cuisine along with fine wines from around the world, the ultimate choice for a memorable meal or a lighter social occasion. The restaurant’s 1,000-bottle wine tower is a muchanticipated highlight of each visit.

After a day on the slopes or knee-deep in the stream, return to Bloom Spa. Quietly infused with our special brand of hospitality, the spa, fitness and wellness center are all tastefully appointed and thoughtfully attended.

Now, home is literally steps to absolutely everything

Vail’s enduring popularity is of course, epic skiing in winter and a glorious summer season where flowers overflow from hanging baskets. Much of the charm of this cozy Tyrolean-inspired village is that we walk — on brick walkways, across covered bridges, to the slopes, window shopping — everywhere. Each day is different here because new discoveries are around every quaint corner. Located within the hotel, Residences at The Sebastian puts you at the heart of it all. Surrounded by welcoming, rich amenities and a lively and entertaining social calendar, you feel immediately at home. Which is just what home wants to be, a special setting to celebrate one another and the atmosphere that is uniquely Vail.

A short stroll through the village to the foot of Vail Mountain is Base Camp — with your own private ski valet, where you’ll step into warm ski boots and onto the lift. Return for hot chocolate and cookies, to let us tune up your gear or to shed a layer as the sun warms the slopes. Whatever, whenever, winter or summer, our valets are standing by with skis, boards, bikes and everything for active adventure in the mountains.

Residences at The Sebastian are a stylish and chic take on Vail’s traditional Alpine motif, thoughtfully furnished and comfortably appointed.

Aspen was, is and always will be one of the most coveted destinations in all the world. It’s endless seasons of uphill and downhill. It’s classical, bluegrass, jazz and country. It’s jewels and jeans, sushi and popcorn. And in the heart of it all is your own very private home away from home.

Peak experiences are here — Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk. It’s the Wheeler Opera House, The Aspen Institute, the Food & Wine Festival and the Farmer’s Market.

Warm and inviting living spaces are

quintessentially aspen Original. Intimate. Artistic.

Nestled in the historic redbrick heart of downtown, Dancing Bear Aspen – A Timbers Residence Club opens to the panorama of Aspen, Colorado. Revolving around you — exhilarating outdoor adventure, exceptional shopping and dining, a vibrant arts scene and the bountiful powder of Colorado’s renowned ski slopes await. For many, summers are even more spectacular. Take a ride around the neighborhood on one of our cruiser bikes, or go for a leafy hike along the Roaring Fork River. Every day holds the promise of new discoveries. And here, everyone knows your routines, your favorite places around town, things you haven’t yet discovered. Ownership here is a rare and thoughtful way to enjoy a second home in the world’s most celebrated ski town.

Aspen’s

most exciting steakhouse, The Monarch, provides special privileges to Owners as well as in-residence dining.

You ascend in a private elevator to the rooftop, and Aspen unfolds before you. The walls are glass, but they disappear most days. Fire pits take the chill off, as do the deep soaking hot tubs. At sunrise, there is a hearty breakfast to fuel the day’s adventures, at sunset, cocktails to sustain the night. It is perhaps the most intoxicating fourth floor in the world, 360 degrees that dazzle in every season.

the elevated experience

One of the joys of living here is an invigorating social and cultural calendar. The rooftop lounge plays host to a wide variety of entertaining events, performances, artistic exhibits and tastings by vintners and chefs. In the summer, there’s storytelling, fly-tying lessons and expert guides offering insider’s advice on trails for hiking, biking and climbing. When the snow flies, let us help you discover the locals’ favorite places for snowshoeing, dog sledding, crosscountry skiing and where to find the day’s best powder.

Dancing Bear Aspen is as stunning as the locale, complementing the elemental surroundings with bracing architecture and an eclectic, urbane sensibility. Sleek alder walls rise behind ornate blown Italian glass lanterns, and bold sculpture and canvases define the open spaces.

All residences are fully furnished and exquisitely decorated with custom furnishings and original art. From the monumental landscape prints by Peter Lik to the metalwork of sculptor Richard Serra to the operatic interpretations created by Nathalie Darbellay.

Sumptuously appointed, the Rejuvenation Spa is like all things Dancing Bear — original, inspiring and supremely private.

“We’ve been traveling to Aspen for years and Dancing Bear has proven to be the most sensible and luxurious way to own in our favorite resort. The location allows us to enjoy everything Aspen has to offer and the daily rooftop breakfasts are the best in town!”

–David and Caryl Cherry Owners, Dancing Bear Aspen

be one of a kind It all started with a pair of boots

Expertly crafted by hand, gently worn but still sturdy, they were painted with lively colors that seemed to breathe exciting new life into an icon of the Old West. It was this pair of boots that inspired us to let fun and color inform our every step as we set out to create the most exciting slopeside resort in the West’s most authentic ski town. Located slopeside at the gondola, One Steamboat Place is everything that Steamboat has long awaited, a private retreat both grand and intimate where Owners can step out of their slippers and into their ski boots. Uniquely residential, yet rich with five-star amenities that include a sensational spa, fitness and wellness center, slopeside dining, and valets for your skis, bikes and cars, life at One Steamboat Place is the height of luxurious and colorful mountain living.

The powder is as light as champagne bubbles. For those who prefer perfectly groomed corduroy, magnificent Mt. Werner has miles to satisfy all.
Outside your door is a heated pool for swimming and sunning, hot tubs for soaking, and the gondola is steps away. The Wild West was never so tame.
Gather in cozy lounges or on the deck for après-ski cocktails, retreat to the game room for play, while keeping the kids busy with toys and treasures in the Tykes Room.

endless adventure in every season

Home to more than 80 Olympians, an indelible Western spirit and 26 feet annually of the finest powder in the Rockies, Steamboat Springs is a year-round wonderland: fly-fishing Gold Medal waters, golfing championship courses, hiking and biking through Colorado’s dramatic scenery, boutiques and world-class dining. But in the mountains, the ultimate amenity is to step out your door and into a waiting gondola. At One Steamboat Place — A Timbers Residence Club, Owners sleep late and still carve first tracks. Every amenity, luxury and convenience is at hand, served up with authentic Western hospitality for a one-of-a-kind experience.

“It was clear early on that Timbers’ attention to detail would make this a special place. And when you talk to everyone involved at One Steamboat Place, none of them seems like they’re working — they’re all just so excited, and it’s contagious.”

–The Gillian Family Owners, One Steamboat Place

Among the joys of ownership is a wondrous collection of amenities. Right at home is a cellar for your wines, a fitness center and motion studio, and fine and casual dining slopeside, fireside or in your residence.

The Spa is as unique as One Steamboat Place itself. With a menu design by Francis & Alexander, acclaimed for their award-winning spas at sister properties Rancho Valencia and Esperanza, The Spa offers massage and skin care with indulgent treatments and calming services inspired by the Yampa Valley.

One Steamboat Place offers a range of masterfully appointed three- and four-bedroom residences that are the perfect blend of elegance and convenience, with plenty of space for the family. Each home is exquisitely furnished and completely accessorized, with a built-in barbecue on every deck and kitchens that will make a gourmet chef envious.

Luxurious mountain architecture takes a dramatic step forward as reclaimed timber, hand-cut stone and weathered metals combine in a colorful rendition of the Old West.

descend through mountains of powder

Into the lap of luxury

Snowmass and its nearby neighbor Aspen are truly a year-round recreational and cultural paradise. There’s always something to do, somewhere to go and a new experience to be discovered. And in the middle of it all, nestled into the slopes of one of North America’s premier four-season mountain resorts is The Timbers Club — A Timbers Residence Club. Outside your door is Snowmass Mountain, 3,500 acres of varied terrain offering endless delights for skiers, boarders, hikers and nature lovers alike. Step onto the ski lift in the morning, hand your skis to the valet at day’s end and sink into the hot tub, a million stars overhead.

Kids are

sure to love life at The Timbers Club, which features an endlessly entertaining game room and Tykes Room.
Snowmass’s thousands of acres of ski terrain await from atop Assay Hill ski run. And just minutes away are Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk.

the good life, just a little better

In summer and autumn, Colorado dazzles. There’s catchand-release fly-fishing, whitewater rafting, golfing, mountain biking or simply contemplating endless vistas.

Anytime of day, Snowmass’s natural beauty and special culture make it an almost spiritual retreat. After dark, it’s a short drive to Aspen for meals by award-winning chefs and a vibrant nightlife.

And while every season has its devotees, surely it is skiing that first put Aspen and Snowmass at the top of the world’s rich and famous playgrounds. And right here, slopeside, just steps to the lift, is the club that defined mountain luxury: The Timbers Club — long viewed as the most exclusive enclave on the mountain.

In the late 1800s, silver first brought people here. After the silver ran out, the new color was white, with Snowmass being home to more vertical feet of skiing than any area in the country. But this is also fourseasons country… where miles of blue-ribbon fly-fishing are set against the breathtaking Rocky Mountains.

“From the day we saw the model, until our 35th visit this week, we have been in love with our second home at The Timbers Club. Start with the views.

Add the shopping, restaurants and activities. And then there’s the weather — the wonderful winters with blue skies and white mountains, the summers that we have come to love as much as the winters, or Colorado’s hidden treasure, the fall, which glows with the aspen trees. We love it so much that we bought a second share not long after we purchased the first.”

–Gene and Linda Davidson Owners, The Timbers Club

On the slopes of Snowmass, steps to the Assay Hill lift, is the club that created a new standard for mountain living. With a mountainside pool and cascading hot tubs, attentive ski valets, in-room spa treatments, the handsomely appointed Owners lounge and library, a state-of-the-art fitness area and recreation room ... the good life in Aspen and Snowmass simply doesn’t get any better than this.

We believe

in endless summers.

The beach is that blissful white line between inviting blue water and warm sand beneath our toes. With each passing day, it pulls at us with tidal force, begging our return. There was a time when the beach was only about summer. Now, we escape on a lark, trading winter’s gray for a healthy dose of vitamin D. Our particular visions of Eden begin on what may be the best beach on the Atlantic, Kiawah Island. On the west end of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, The Preserve at Botany Bay is a pristine Caribbean jewel. In Los Cabos, Mexico, near land’s end, paradise begins at the legendary Esperanza. On the Garden Isle of Kaua‘i is Hokuala, home to Timbers Kaua‘i and the legendary Ocean Course at Hokuala. Hawaii is home also to The Residences at Kapalua Bay, which sit majestically above the water’s edge on the northwest shore of Maui. In all, six chapters of life on the beach that share a sunset at the end of each perfect day.

At Timbers Kaua‘i, every aspect of the architecture and landscape thoughtfully embraces and celebrates the rich history of Kaua‘i, and the natural wonders of sea, land and sky.

the perfect place to keep the world at bay

In all the world, no waters equal those of the Caribbean. Alluring. Gentle. Beguiling. There is a mystique shrouded in a thousand shades of blue. In this idyllic sea, a comfortable distance from civilization, is an island that has for centuries enchanted natives and travelers alike. On the far western shore of St. Thomas is a pristine preserve. Overlooking three halfmoon beaches, with waves gently lapping and a steel drum floating on the breeze, there may be no better place to watch the sun slowly slip below the horizon. On this fabled island, on this perfect coast, paradise begins. This is The Preserve at Botany Bay — A Timbers Resort.

The Preserve at Botany Bay is a protected, 397-acre enclave on the secluded west end of St. Thomas. In this perfect and pristine world, an intimate and luxurious resort is taking shape.

a pristine, sparkling caribbean jewel

A place so special could only realize its potential through architecture informed by the island’s rich history and the promise of all that is possible. From diving at dawn to a nap on the beach to a sunset sail, every day at Botany Bay brings endless delights and diversions. Lushly secluded private spaces are everywhere, the most inviting being the Beach House at the edge of Botany Bay.

The South Pacific may rival its color, the Mediterranean its romance, the Atlantic its warmth, but of all the waters on Earth, the Caribbean has for centuries remained the most alluring. And on the west end of St. Thomas is one of the most glorious settings in the Caribbean.

Artifacts from the shores of Botany Bay indicate it was settled more than 1,600 years ago and the site has been added to the National Register of Historic Places. We have taken care to ensure low-impact development, so this treasured site will not only be sustained, but also evolve as a place of discovery for generations to come.

St. Thomas is a legendary destination for watersports enthusiasts and modernday adventurers. Hike the island’s rolling hills. Meander along silky soft beaches, curl up under a palm. Diaphanous waters provide unparalleled visibility for diving and snorkeling. Challenge the sea’s big-game fish, or sail from isle to beautiful isle with a gentle nudge from the Caribbean trade winds.

“Growing up, our family’s favorite vacation was St. Thomas. The place always seemed exotic. So Botany Bay was a natural. Having been to Esperanza, and that this too was a Timbers Resorts development made it that much more attractive.”

Tropical isles dotting azure seas are our vision of paradise on earth. Floating on the breeze, there is birdsong and jasmine; romance is in the air. We step ashore as did the first explorers to these worlds. Adventure and discovery, wonder and joy are the order of the day. Here, the trappings of everyday life seem to dissolve at the water’s edge. For those in search of this most perfect place, the trade winds surely carry us to Hawaii, to a magical isle, to Maui

No Ka Oi. Maui best of all. And if the superlatives and accolades for this most favored of all paradises were not enough, there is an Eden within, secreted on the verdant northern shore, a place called Kapalua. Here man and nature, spirit and sport find common ground.

Kapalua is home to endless adventures, with zip lines, climbing walls and a thrilling 360-foot suspension bridge linking hiking and biking trails.
Kapalua means “arms embracing the sea,” a reference to the lava peninsulas that form the resort’s six turquoise bays. Located on Maui’s northwest shore, the resort stretches from the highest peak in West Maui to the edge of the Pacific.
The impeccable grounds and stunning amenities include an 8,500-square-foot lagoon-shaped pool with cozy nooks for sunning and island treats from the tropical grill and bar.

Is this truly heaven on earth?

Prominent among Hawaii’s legendary resorts, Kapalua Bay is distinguished by its dramatic ascent from beach to mountaintop, by two world-class, tournament-play golf courses rated #1 in Hawaii, by a spa rated as the top destination spa in the United States and, of course, by ocean-view accommodations that know few equals. All that is Hawaii reaches its full measure here, from the island’s best snorkeling to hiking descents through tropical rainforests. From shoreline to mountaintop, there is always an enticing array of daily activities, including adventures above and below the water, inspired dining and even the simple joy of a day at the beach. Kapalua. In every way, a paradise secluded on Hawaii’s favorite island.

The allure of Kapalua Beach is legendary. Original recipient of the “America’s Best Beach” distinction, this wide arc of golden sand is fringed in swaying palms and rolling lawns. The gentle waters of this pristine bay provide some of the island’s best swimming, snorkeling and diving.

Everywhere are breathtaking views across the Pacific all the way to the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Every so often you’ll see a spouting whale rise to the surface.

The Residences at Kapalua offer a storybook beachfront getaway, surrounded by amenities and services to assure a luxurious lifestyle that is beyond all the comforts of home. The twoand three-bedroom villas feature two master suites each and expansive open lanais. Twice daily housekeeping, a private concierge, and the pools and beach just steps away are only the beginning of an unparalleled vacation experience.

We believe

in taking the road less traveled.

Of all the places we love to travel, there are always those special destinations that allure in a different way. They offer new paths to travel and discoveries to make. They have a different rhythm and satisfy our yearnings for adventures of a different kind … food and wine, culture, history, the arts. And surely they are places to gather to celebrate family and friends, to rest, rejuvenate and reconnect. These are places we call our home away from home.

Not too far from the city, never too far from the shore, ever inviting, our stops along the road less traveled are each delightfully different. They are resorts with depth and diversity, each providing that perfect place to return to time and time again.

4,200 acres untouched, except by history

Past. Present. Perfect.

In the rolling Tuscan hills not far from the mythic cities of Florence, Siena and San Gimignano is one of the largest private landholdings in all of Italy. Here is a charming, quintessentially Tuscan estate gloriously basking under the warm Italian sun. Vineyards and olive groves pattern the landscape as next year’s harvest ripens to perfection. Ancient stone farmhouses dot the hillsides, gentle reminders of centuries past. This treasured property is Casali di Casole, a historic and endlessly romantic chapter in the Timbers Collection.

Out along the winding country roads from the Castello, the ruins of forgotten farmhouses are being painstakingly restored — gently coaxed into a more modern time by artisans reverent of their past and remarkable potential.

Preserving the estate has been a labor of love throughout every stage of development. A working farm in the classic traditions of Italy, the estate is a leader in organic agriculture and environmental best practices. Two game wardens oversee a wildlife management program that both protects and sustains this timeless treasure.
Grapes from our working vineyards and olives from our olive groves are harvested and pressed under the estate’s own label. One taste, and life takes on a new hue.

ownership, the ultimate embrace

Ownership at Casali di Casole is the ultimate expression of all that is Tuscany’s rich history. Lovingly crafted by artisans, each Farmhouse is a unique, joyous expression where modern-day conveniences are married with the treasures of antiquity. Here, life is as rich and diverse as the region itself — pottery, cooking and language classes, visits to the vineyards of Chianti, museums and cultural centers guided by our own experts. To assure that every aspect of life in the Tuscan countryside is carefree, Owners have a bilingual concierge, door-to-door airport transportation, a car and driver service, and private chefs.

“If I were a beautiful writer and knew the language of the heart, I would be able to define the extraordinary experience of owning a home in Tuscany through Timbers. We have made lovely friendships with other Owners, but even more significant are the Italian friends we have made and will cherish for a lifetime. It is a gift we are eternally grateful for.”

Each Farmhouse is furnished with antiquities of the region, highlighted by the burnished hues of the Tuscan countryside. Every detail is flawlessly executed, softened by rich textures and shimmering silks, a delight to the eye and exquisite to the touch.

Soaring off into the Tuscan countryside are mosaic glass-tiled infinity pools, a dazzling signature to each of our Farmhouses.

Bathed in the marbles made famous by Michelangelo, the baths are remarkable and contemporary counterpoints to the historic design of the Farmhouses.

Napa made perfect

In the gentle hills between Napa and Sonoma is a place that heightens all the senses. A place where the present is creatively infused with a historic past — a perfect blend of Old World ambiance, country charm and luxury resort. This is The Orchard at Carneros Resort and Spa. Nestled in the vineyards are luxurious cottages playfully organized and set along gravel paths, a birdhouse signpost at every corner. The Orchard Cottages, like the resort itself, are fashioned after early California farms, interpreted and invigorated by a present-day sensibility. This collection of just nine cottages connects us to the rich and authentic past as well as the luxurious opportunities of modern life. It is Napa made perfect.

nestled between napa and sonoma

California’s Napa, Carneros and Sonoma Valleys require no lengthy introduction. These valleys — celebrated for their rich history, near-perfect climate and enlightened lifestyle — are home to many of the finest and most creative vintners and wines in the world. Every point of the compass invites exploration. Here are 27 lush acres where architecture, dining and daily life are as sophisticated as they are unpretentious. In all, the resort village includes three unique restaurants, each with an inviting bar; a poolside motion studio and fitness center; the Hilltop spa, lounge and pool; a family-friendly pool with cabanas, kiddie pool and snack shack; and those charming paths where it’s always nice to just stop and smell the apple blossoms.

Dewy pastures glisten in morning’s first light, horses graze. Steam rises from a mirrored pool. Life is good, your world is at peace. This is especially so at the Hilltop, a retreat for you and your guests that includes a vineyard-view pool and hot tub, a private bar and dining room, a fashionable boutique and luxurious spa.

At The Spa, treatments and services are as soothing as the setting. A destination in its own right, The Spa scored a perfect 100 from Condé Nast Traveler for its setting and was acclaimed by Spa Finder for “Best Interior Design.” • the orchard at carneros resort and spa •

At FARM, eclectic cuisine showcases the abundant natural wonders of Napa and Sonoma.

On the beautiful Florida Atlantic, Timbers Jupiter is nestled within the 285-acre Trump National Golf Club. There is also the mecca of Scottsdale, Arizona, where impeccably manicured courses are marbled throughout the dramatic Sonoran Desert landscape. Additional Timbers’ links experiences include the longest stretch of oceanfront golf in all of Hawaii at the Ocean Course at Hokuala, renowned Kiawah Island, many epic mountain courses in the Rocky Mountains and, finally, lush landscapes in Southern California.

a golf and wine country legacy

Nestled in the golden hills of Sonoma

Set in the soft rolling hills only an hour’s drive north of San Francisco are 675 acres crisscrossed by quiet streams and marshes, soft wavy grasses, gnarled ancient oaks and an abundance of wildlife. Set deep against its namesake mountains, the land is peaceful and soothing to the spirit. As one ascends the long drive to the club and residences, the trappings of everyday life slip away. Life at Mayacama revolves around an expansive Mediterranean-inspired clubhouse where a quintessentially alfresco lifestyle overlooks a Jack Nicklaus masterpiece. There is a wine program as unique as it is extraordinary, a European-inspired spa, swimming, tennis and hiking, and much, much more.

The Mayacama Residences are a creative mingling of nature, art and design with beautiful views overlooking the golf course and California hillsides.
Comfortable defines Mayacama, a peaceful, welcoming and enduring place. The residences are elegant, yet casual, with equal attention given to outside and inside living.
Residences cascade down terraced hillsides and are but a short stroll to the clubhouse along treelined paths.

The facilities for the wine program are as impressive as the roster of vintners is prestigious. Vaulted ceilings and soft lighting accent the three arms of the 3,000-square-foot, temperature-controlled cellars. The main cellar vault opens to a comfortable patio overlooking the golf course.

the perfect pairing

Nicklaus golf and world-class wines

The experience that is Mayacama unfolds gradually, and with each visit grows deeper and richer. At Mayacama, a golf club of considerable consequence, it is telling that there are as many wine lockers as golf lockers. Indeed, some of the world’s finest wines never make it to the store shelves, but are enjoyed as private stock, shared by our Vintner Members with families, friends and fellow oenophiles. Whether on the courts, the trails or around the clubhouse, Mayacama is above all a joyous social experience. And from the moment you join, you belong. The question isn’t whether Mayacama is a golf club, a social club or luxurious Wine Country retreat — it is surely the best of all.

The Spa is inspired by the holistic centers in Europe. It is a serene escape that elevates the entire Mayacama experience. An original menu of treatments is themed around the natural scents and essential oils of native California rosemary, lavender and sage.

The culinary program at Mayacama changes with the season, and celebrates local artisans, organically grown produce, locally raised meat and poultry, and fresh seafood from the coast, all enhanced with herbs from the chef’s garden.
Oh to be a kid at Mayacama, where learning is disguised as fun. Every day brings something new — ceramics, sculpture and science activities, trapeze adventures in the redwoods.
there’s oceanfront golf and then there is Hōkūala

Golf Magazine recently ranked the Ocean Course at Hokuala among the best courses you can play in Hawaii. This continuous stretch of oceanfront golf is the longest in all of Hawaii and a certain highlight of every visit. Winding its way through mango and papaya groves to dramatic seaside cliffs, it’s little wonder that the list of accolades for this Jack Nicklaus Signature track is as long as its string of holes that hug the Pacific.

“As a Mayacama Member, we are really enjoying the benefits of the Timbers Reciprocity Program and had a great experience at One Steamboat Place. My family and I went to Steamboat for the first time this year. It’s a wonderful spot, but One Steamboat Place made the trip truly special. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the location was incredibly convenient for a great family ski vacation. But most of all, the kind and helpful people at One Steamboat made it fun, easy and relaxing. We just showed up, and from there it felt like the whole place was set up just for us … from getting our skis tuned, to rides to town, to hospitality evenings in the lodge.”
