RESORT AMENITIES

THE BEACH CLUB

Exclusive to Owners, the Beach Club consists of dedicated beach services and adventure equipment, including surf and paddleboards, an oceanfront pool and hot tub, and alfresco bar and grill. And whether you decide to spend your days relaxing by the shimmering pool or hitting the beach by boogie board, our staff is standing by with chair-side lunch service so you don’t have to lift a finger to keep enjoying your day.

CLUBHOUSE

The Clubhouse is the perfect gathering place when unwinding is on the agenda. Enjoy daily coffee and light breakfast offerings and meet with friends to discuss the day’s adventures. This room also hosts on-property events.

FITNESS CENTER

Open seven days a week and located in the Clubhouse building, our fitness center features state-of the-art Technogym equipment, complete with a Peloton bike and a full cardio and strength training program that emphasizes functional fitness and kinetic movements. Outdoor health and wellness classes are also available by season including beachside yoga, fitness classes and more.

BEACH CLUB GRILL

With a seasonally-inspired menu true to the Lowcountry, indulge in the flavors of the south from a peach BBQ pulled pork sandwich to flounder ceviche. Lunch is served daily at the Beach Club from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the bar is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

BIKE FLEET One of the most memorable and special family activities on Kiawah is touring the island by bicycle. With ten miles of beach and 30 miles of trails to explore, you’ll see Kiawah through a new perspective on two wheels. Owners enjoy free and exclusive access to the club’s fleet of more than 100 beach cruisers for adults and kids.

TIMBERS TYKES ROOM

Outfitted with beanbags, TV and games, the Timbers Tykes Room is a favorite of our littlest guests, providing a fun play space for children eight and under. The chalkboard wall offers children a canvas to create their most imaginative masterpieces. The cubbies are filled with storybooks, coloring books, games and toys, and there is always something fun playing on the multi-media big screen.

KIAWAH ISLAND ACTIVITIES

KIAWAH ISLAND NATURE PROGRAM Kiawah Island is famous for its pristine natural beauty and wildlife. The Nature Center is a great first stop on the island. Naturalists and staff are available to direct you on various activities, tours and programs during your visit. Some of our favorite activities to get in touch with nature include the Junior Naturalist Program, baby reptile classes for young explorers and naturalist led bicycle tours for the whole family. The Nature Program also offers resources to learn about Kiawah’s unique mixture of maritime forests, dunes and flora and fauna.

GOLF

It’s no surprise that Kiawah Island is a bucket list destination among golfers. Home to several championships including the 1991 Ryder Cup, the 2012 PGA championship and the upcoming 2021 PGA championship, Kiawah Island Golf Resort offers five distinct and fabled courses: The Ocean Course, Turtle Point, Osprey Point, Oak Point, and Cougar Point. The courses are also designed by legendary architects including Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus and more, and appeal to scratch golfers and beginners alike.

TENNIS

The Kiawah Island tennis experience is not to be missed. The recipient of several awards for best tennis resort in the world, Kiawah Island features two complete tennis complexes, the Roy Barth Tennis Center and West Beach Tennis Club, consisting of 24 courts collectively across the nine-mile island. Programs for adults and juniors are offered daily, including instructional mini-camps, roundrobins and private lessons.

BIKING

Enjoy complimentary use of our signature Timbers Kiawah bicycles to cruise the island’s ten-mile beach or 30 miles of paved pathways. Our favorite route is the onemile stretch from Timbers Kiawah to Captain Sam’s Inlet for dolphin spotting. There are also plenty of places to rest and refuel. Your personal concierge will be happy to point out recommended trails and rest stops.

WATER ACTIVITIES Named the happiest seaside town by Coastal Living, Kiawah Island provides endless adventures on the water. Spend a day on the ocean, paddle boarding along the beach or deep sea fishing. Try kayaking along the Kiawah River or crabbing off the tidal creeks. Or perhaps you enjoy spotting for wildlife along the marshes or rivers. Regardless of your preferred adventure, our team is here to help you navigate the options and arrange your perfect day.

SURF CAMP

Designed for kids, this camp teaches the fundamentals of surfing including board handling, positioning, paddling, and pop up techniques, as well as surfing etiquette, marine biology and water safety. Beach games and team building are included.
