by allowing throughout my painting conscious and subconscious memories and impressions”. Her new series “Memories of a Soul” is a picturesque representation of emotions that emerge spontaneously and transmits through her work the inner light and energy that reside in the spirit of the artist. “I am like a channel, what I transmit comes from my history of life since before I was born. What I express through my paintings is a marvelous experience which is sometimes indescribable and surprising” says Efi. FINE ART
INWARD JOURNEY CLAY AS A MEDIUM OF EXPRESSING INNER TRUTH Andrea Bottelli is an ItalianArgentine artist born in Buenos Aires, Argentina with a Masters degree in Architecture from Buenos Aires University. The groundwork for her career was laid in privately owned art studios in Buenos Aires and Uruguay, until she moved to her own studio in Buenos Aires. Andrea was a member of The National Studio of Ceramic Art from 1985 to 1995. Her piece, Pareja I, earned “First Mention” in the 1987 show. The Belgrano University’s annual “Jovenes Artistas”

show crowned the same piece 2nd “highest with honors” in 1988. Andrea shared her expertise
“The human figure is the path that inspires me to create and recreate the inward journey” and honest reflections as a contributing columnist for the magazine “El Ceramista” from 1989 to 1995. Since 2001 Andrea has lived and worked in Weston, and participates in exhibitions throughout Latin America and United States. “I have always loved clay as a medium of expression; I thoroughly enjoy the dialogue that I compose with the material as I begin to work.” Says Andrea. “I suggest a shape and the material responds with another, as two opposite yet conformable paths to be explored. The material’s essence and characteristics allow me to play with the infinite process of proposal and reaction.
This artistic discourse is my favorite step in the creative process; it demands my respect for her innate knowledge and my attention to catch every single suggestion the clay may offer. The human figure is the path that inspires me to create and recreate the inward journey. Man as the conception and conclusion of everything. Man's spine as the axis, as the center for movement of reason and emotion. The axis
of seasoned life and the innermost path that connects us to everything and to ourselves. As an architect Andrea unites the two greatest facets of her professional work: shape and content. Alive in her with the unique idea that eminently transcends simple aesthetics with a force solely driven from the sincerity of basic shapes. Andreas work serves as a gateway to a plethora of boundless levels and through unique places from which one cannot return unchanged. You may contact Andrea by phone at 954-608-8901 or email her at andreaduo@aol.com or visit her websitewww.andreabottelli.com JULY / AUG 15TH 2010

MUSIC
JESUS HIDALGO
A SYMBOL OF MUSICAL EVOLUTION Jesus Hidalgo was born with rhythm in his blood. He has positively brought to life exceptional charisma within a band or as a solo artist, starting in his natal Venezuela with the band URBANDA, and later enhancing the stage with his brothers as LOS HIDALGO. Highly recognized in
Puerto Rico, South America, Spain and the United States, the band won many international awards: 1992, 1993 and 1994 Ronda Awards Best Pop Group, Venezuela; 2001 Premios Lo Nuestro, Nominee Best Latin Vocal Group; 2002 Aplausos Awards Best Vocal Group, Puerto Rico.
Currently, Jesus is working on a humanistic project focused in the care and preservation of our environment. From this project a song has been composed called “Pachamama” co-written with Enrique Hidalgo and Jannio Hidalgo. Pachamama is a song for all, a song that aspires to connect each and every individual who feels the need to propagate a message that requests a change in consciousness, solidarity, values and high regard for all life. It is a song for those of us who are committed to take action to defend our most valuable and abused inheritance: planet Earth. Visit YouTube and search: “Pachamama Jesus Hidalgo” to listen to this wonderful song.

As a singer, composer and producer, Hidalgo has had the opportunity to work with musicians like Placido Domingo, Bacilos, Oscar de Leon, Dyango , Rocio Durcal, Los Del Rio and MDO, among others. Throughout his maturity as a singer and songwriter we have been able to perceive the pleasant union between great lyricism and different rhythmic experiences, always with the Afro-Caribbean touch of his origin, and a sincerity that cannot be forgotten; wether in Pop or Rock songs, this multifaceted artist adds the flavors of Flamenco, Bossa and the spice of Son to enrich his unique style and forbid his music to be labeled under just one genre.
