New Old Friends is set to present Crimes in Egypt, directed by James Farrell, at the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre.

Belgian detective extraordinaire, Artemis Arinae, is set to enjoy a holiday cruise along the River Nile when tragedy strikes. All the passengers and staff aboard are suspects, and the murder count is growing, will Arinae’s little grey cells identify the murderer in time?

A versatile cast of just four, brings to life lascivious lawyers, crocked captains, fastidious physicians, ardently amorous authors, feuding femme fatales, plodding paramours, friendly first mates and attractive Americans, in this romp inspired by Christie, Coward and Wodehouse, directed by James Farrell.

Meanwhile, at Stafford Gatehouse, a star cast has been announced for a wickedest panto at the venue later this year.

Producers at Red Entertainment, in association with Prime Pantomimes, the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre have announced the first three stars for this year’s must-see pantomime adventure, Snow White.

Starring the legendary Maureen Nolan, CBeebies' Rebecca Keatley, and Keith Jack from BBC’s 1 Any Dream Will Do. Together they are set to dazzle and delight in this show for the young and the young at heart!

Music legend Maureen Nolan will headline as the brilliantly bad Wicked Queen, with CBeebies’ Rebecca Keatley playing the fairest of them all, Snow White and musical theatre star Keith Jack as the dashing handsome prince. With further star casting to be announced this festive treat is not to be missed.

Let the magic of pantomime transport you to a land far far away, to the land of make-believe, as we bring to life this much loved and classic fairy tale. Featuring sparkling costumes, glitzy scenery, spectacular special effects, live music, dazzling dance routines and not forgetting a laugh-out-loud script, that ends as all great fairy tales do…. happily, ever after. Directed by Richard Cheshire and choreographed by Philip Joel, this lavish new production adventure of the fairest panto in the land, Snow White written by Wink Taylor, will be at the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre from December 10 to December 31.
