2920: finalising map

The majority of the patterns applied to the map are too harsh in terms of colours, so I managed to figure out how to change the colour of the patterns. This pdf detailed the changes to colour to make the map appear more uniform and less outlandish to the final project outcome.

For the background of the map, I wanted to give it a slightly textured feel without detracting from the overall impact of it whilst making it appear old without just putting a blend effect on the background colour.

here I tried to put in the longitude and latitude lines used in cartography to give the map a more believable context, and giving the full image more depth and detail. I used a configured brush stroke to give the degree next to the numeric value to keep it in with my selected typeface.

I felt that the earthier tones worked much better and allowed for the map to gain some consitency

Had to repair all the roads
