WELCOME
WELCOME Virtual Geographic aims to draw attention to the painstaking effort game designers go through to create a living, breathing virtual environment that we are so ready to forget in the name of ‘The Quest’. Fantasy worlds have often been a point of interest when it comes to games and popular fiction, but nothing quite encourages escapism like a well constructed fantasy world. Especially one as rich and interesting as the Elder Scrolls’ world of Tamriel. The Nord’s homeland is also the birthplace of Nirn’s modern man, from the first god Ysgramor and his Five Hundred Companions expelling the Aldmeri Dominion, as well as being home to the second largest mountain in all of Tamriel: The Throat Of The World. We explore and expose some of the most beautiful locations in the unforgiving tundra of Skyrim, covering almost all holds located in the virtual country;
