Just when it seems that the previous yearâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s event cannot be beat, the Top Choice team, their wonderful sponsors and their celebrated guests make each gala better than the last. On Saturday October 22, Torontoâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s renowned Fairmont Royal York Hotel was filled with beautiful, smiling faces all in attendance to celebrate success! Top Choice Awards honored over 60 award winners during the highly anticipated Award Ceremony and it is with great pride that Top Choice Awards calls 2016 the best year yet! The night brought together business owners from all over North America to celebrate themselves and each other for repeatedly achieving excellence in all they do - and to have a blast while doing it. Top Choice Awards is all about promoting the best of the best. It's about recognizing excellence and promoting drive, passion, ambition and success. The annual Top Choice Award Survey asks you, the people, to vote for the businesses around North America that, in your opinion, epitomize these characteristics - and you delivered! The winners arrived for a night of congratulations and shared success and the result? The wonderful Z103.5 team, Scott Fox and Kat Callaghan, joined the evening as this year’s Top Choice Awards Hosts and they could not have done a more amazing job. As winners of the award for Top Radio Morning Show in the GTA for a few years now, they are more than familiar with success and accomplishment. They filled the room with laughter, curiosity, excitement and, most of all, pride for the 2016 winners joining Top Choice Awards. The event would not have been nearly as perfect without their enormous live contribution. As the mouthwatering dishes were served, the awards presentation also began. With award recipients from locations including, but not limited to, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Texas, the ceremony was a complete success, to say the least. Entertainment was provided by an array of talented individuals including, BPM Krew, Samba Brazilian dancers Tropicana Queens, the outstanding guitar stylings of Pavlo and the super creative dance numbers by Axé Capoeira. Passion and ambition produce results. In a room full of people who have been

recognized for being the best among the competition, these two characteristics were found in abundance. The glamorous one of a kind award ceremony did not disappoint and all of the hard work proved to be a hit once again! As a first-year attendee, Mrs. Brandy Andrews from Nu-Trend Construction, winner for Top Restoration Company in the GTA, shared her excitement at being recognized for excellence. “I felt like a movie star receiving this award! Clearly, Toronto loves Scott and Kat. In 2016, Scott and Kat hosted the annual Top Choice Awards Gala and did a phenomenal job doing so. Kat best described their experience in hosting the gala as “Oscars meets Cirque du Soleil at a 5 star restaurant” and commented that the atmosphere, vibe, and entertainment throughout the evening made it a very fun night.

Scott Fox began his career in radio at the age of 16 as an intern at a radio station in Newmarket and basically worked his way up to becoming one of the most successful radio personalities in all of Canada. Scott began his tenure at Z103.5 on Valentine’s Day in 2001 and worked alongside a number of other radio personalities and experienced a great amount of success. favourite morning radio show hosts via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, etc. (which are all handled by Scott and Kat), which allows them to get to know their listeners as well. Scott’s favourite form of social media is Twitter and Kat’s favourite form of social media is Instagram, as both outlets provide a clean, concise, and quick platform for them to interact with their listeners. Nonetheless, the more two-sided this on-air personality-listener relationship gets, the more Toronto is likely to fall deeper in love with Scott and Kat. It’s inevitable. Further, what makes Scott and Kat even more unique is that they are the ones in charge of their own social media accounts - they do not have interns handling their personal accounts like other radio hosts. They do their own research and fact checking, as previously mentioned with their unparalleled journalistic integrity, and finally, their jobs aren't simply 5:30-9:00am - due to social media, they are constantly working at all hours of the day. Their work ethic is outstanding and it is no wonder they are consistently voted Toronto’s Top Morning Radio Show. While we may be able to listen to Beyonce’s Lemonade or Ed Sheeran’s Deluxe whenever we want, we can only catch Scott and Kat’s morning radio show on Z103.5 from 5:30am-9:00am Monday to Friday.
