We are looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend for the opening of the Tower Course and Easter Weekend! The weather is looking like it will be a nice, early spring weekend in the White Mountains; I can’t think of a much better way to spend it than with a round of golf, an Easter Egg Hunt and a delectable Easter Brunch to wrap up a great escape to Torreon! Some of you may have seen the email that went out earlier today with our SUMMARY OF CURRENT FEES
AND POLICIES FOR UNIT MEMBERSHIPS, SOCIAL UNIT MEMBERSHIPS AND UPDATED TEE TIME BOOKING POLICIES. Please make sure you read this important club policy update. The information will also be posted around the Club and available at the Front Desk. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. We are looking forward to getting the Tower Course opened up Friday. We were able to wrap up the bunker work that is being done to Tower this spring and are currently working to complete the bunkers on Cabin before its scheduled opening date. As with any bunker project, it takes time for the new sand to settle into ideal playing shape. We continue to water and pack the new sand in the bunkers to groom them to the proper conditions but it will take another few weeks for them reach this point. That being said, over the next few weeks, the bunkers with the new sand will play softer and you may encounter a few more fried-egg or buried lies. This will decrease as time goes on but we wanted you to have an idea of what to expect. If you have questions on how to get out of those lies in the bunkers, I have no doubt our Head Golf Professional Randy Bigos would love to give you a quick tip! Here is a preview of what you can expect this weekend: Friday, March 25th: Tower golf course opens for the season - Tee times start at 10:00am Saturday, March 26th: Easter Egg Hunt - 10:30am @ The Family Center (small golf) – Make plans to arrive at least 10 minutes early as this is a very popular event with the kids! Saturday, March 26th: Complimentary Wine Tasting from 5:00 – 7:00pm in the Clubhouse, Hosted by Young’s Market; come sample some of the latest flavors and catch up with friends! Sunday, March 27th: Torreon Easter Brunch, 10:00am – 3:00pm (reservations required) Family Center- Easter Weekend Friday, March 25th – Open 9:00am – 5:00pm Saturday, March 26th – Open 9:00am – 9:00pm; Pizza & Movie Night starts at 6:00pm Sunday, March 27th – Open 9:00am – 3:00pm We look forward to seeing many of you this weekend and we are looking forward to a great 2016.
