From the Desk of Ryan Lanzen Follow Us Now! Hello Members! I hope you all are having a great week and getting anxious to come and visit Torreon! Things are beginning to turn very green and it won’t be long before we are in full summer mode and the club is hustling and bustling with the activity that summer brings, I can’t wait! Here are some quick hitters for this week’s newsletter, enjoy! Congratulations to Jeri Santos, Bill Kreger, Rodrigo Vela, David Wynn, Mark Etherton, Belinda Kuhl and Gary Martinson who correctly picked the winning horse at our Kentucky Derby Welcome Back Party and won prizes! It was a great time and the clubhouse looked very festive as we witnessed the Run for the Roses! Make sure you check out the event next year and peruse the photos on the next page! Mothers Day Brunch was also a great success as our entire Food and Beverage team hit a home run with the fare at the two events this past weekend. The place was beautiful and it was so nice to see many people back already and enjoying the fun filled weekend. Good news! The Cabin Restaurant opens this Friday the 13th and we start serving breakfast in the Torreon Grille this Saturday, the 14th! For those who haven’t figured it out yet, the Torreon Grille is now serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week, there is no valid excuse to not come and see us! Due to the new dining hours, BURGER NIGHT is now moving to Wednesday nights, starting Wednesday, May 18th! The Fitness Center code will be changing Friday, May 13th. Please go to www.torreon.com and login to see the new code or provide identification and ask the Front Desk attendant next time you are in the Clubhouse. You will find it on the right hand side of the Member Network page under announcements if you choose the website route.
