Whether near or far, I hope you all have a great time of turkey, relaxation, football and parades as you celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with friends and family. If you are going to be spending your holiday at Torreon, here are a few things to be aware of: Grille Hours: Wednesday, November 25th – 11:00am – 9:00pm (lunch and dinner service for those arriving hungry) Thursday, November 26th – 11:00am – 3:00pm (open for Thanksgiving buffet only)* *Reservations strongly recommended Friday, November 27th – 11:00am – 10:00pm (lunch and dinner service) Saturday, November 28th – 11:00am – 10:00pm (lunch and dinner service) Sunday, November 29th – 11:00am – 5:00pm (lunch service only)
For all the kids coming up for the weekend, the Family Center will be open. The schedule will be as follows: Friday, November 27th – 9:00am – 9:00pm - Pizza and Movie night at 6:00pm. The cost to attend is $10 per child. If you show a receipt from dinner at the club on Friday night, your children can attend the Movie night for free. We will be featuring a Christmas themed movie. Saturday, November 28th – 9:00am – 5:00pm Sunday, November 29th – 9:00am – 3:00pm - Over the weekend the Family Center will be open with a Santa’s Workshop theme! Come, bring the kiddos and play games, hit the playground and work on some holiday crafts to get you in the holiday mood. As we approach Thanksgiving and my one year anniversary at the club, I want to take a moment to say “thank you” to all of you for your continued support of Torreon. I believe it has been a great first season and my wife and I absolutely love it here in the White Mountains. I am anxious for 2016 and some of the new things we have planned! It’s a great time at Torreon and I look forward to many more great years here at this special club. I also want to say “thank you” to the staff at Torreon. We could not do what we do if it wasn’t for the outstanding team we are fortunate enough to have; to our managers, housekeepers, food and beverage team, family center staff, building and golf maintenance crews, golf shop staff and administrative staff, thank you for your hard work, dedication and a great year!
