Thanks to China, AIRBUS is Reviving Again
Archer Aviation has successfully completed all of its test flights, completing the 2nd of 3 key phases of flight testing.
The tests were conducted to validate the crosswind capabilities of Archer’s eVTOL aircraft configuration and flight control systems. The company has now successfully flown Maker at increasing speeds of up to 15 knots, in various directions and attitudes.

Maker completed its first hover test flight in December of last year and after each development and advancement, it is almost flying daily now, allowing the Archer Flight Test Team to evaluate speed increases and complex manoeuvres while in hover. The result of these tests also confirmed the strength of the aircraft’s take-off and landing capabilities.

THANKS TO CHINA AIRBUS IS REVIVING AGAIN
China's 3 largest carriers have announced they will buy a total of almost 300 Airbus jets; the biggest order by Chinese carriers since the start of the health crisis. Air China and China Southern Airlines will each buy 96 A320neo-family jets worth UK£10 billion at list prices. China Eastern Airlines confirmed it will buy 100 airplanes of the same type, worth UK£10.5 billion.
China's huge aviation market accounts for a quarter of Airbus and Boeing deliveries in a normal year.
Recently China has stepped back from the global aviation market due to the impact of COVID-19 and trade tensions with the US. But this deal firmly sees China favour the European supplier.
The aircraft will be delivered from 2023 to 2027, with the majority expected from 2024.
