HERE COMES THE SUN! | JULY 5-7
This short week is all about fun in the sun. Children will prepare and train to participate in our very own Summer of Fun in the Sun Olympic Games. We will create our teams, decorate our halls, design our medals and fashion our tee shirts to wear on the last day for the opening ceremony. Held on our field, we will play and compete in a variety of invigorating games that test all skill levels. There will be something for everyone–whether it’s on the cheer team squad creating dance routines to inspire our athletes or on the field competing for a medal.
THE ART LAB | JULY 10-14
Take an art walk with us. This week we will travel to the Delaware Art Museum to discover how art comes to life. Many of our art themed activities will focus on various artists and celebrated children’s literature such as “The Dot.” Children will learn about Jackson Pollock and his unique style of drip painting.
