Chess Masters Of Delaware
June 19-23, June 26-July 30, July 31-Aug. 4, 12-3 p.m. Grades K-12, $225
Come play and learn chess from Delaware’s state and national chess champions, Chess Masters of Delaware. Players will be taught on three levels: beginner, novice and advanced.
CHILD DRAMA WORKSHOPS LTD. “THE JUNGLE BOOK”
July 17- 21, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Grades 2-5, $450
Your child will learn about the true adventures of the jungle while dancing with Baloo and dodging Shere Khans’ wrath. Come join Mowgli and his band of jungle friends in this epic adventure. Your child will love experiencing the wonders of the jungle on stage. While dancing, acting and singing, your child will have a fun romp in the jungle!
Allow your child to work with a professional Theatre Director and Choreographer. Individualized actor instruction with a focus on the art of improvisation are explored. All student participants will help to create the story in an ensemble format. An original play will be shared with parents and peers on the last day of camp. Costume accessories, makeup, souvenir program and a pizza cast party included!

Graphic Design
June 12-16, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 3-8, $225
Interested in drawing, art or design? In this class, you’ll learn how to use your doodling skills for real, by doing design projects for local nonprofits or small businesses. You will learn how to make professional posters and art that people want to pay for, and you’ll ultimately design posters and ads for real organizations with good causes. Our students’ work has been used in ads and online Instagram posts by the Special Olympics, Martha’s Kitchen and local shelters.
Game Design
June 12-16, 12-3 p.m. Grades 3-8, $225
Ever wanted to build your own games or apps? Love Roblox or Minecraft? Well, this is the class for you! In this course, students will learn the skills of a coder through conceiving, designing and creating their own mobile app games. The resulting games can be shared online and texted to friends for them to play on their phones. It’s a great way to combine learning with fun with becoming a game developer. You don’t need any previous experience or special software to take this: all you need is your creativity.
Dungeons And Dragons
June 19-23, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 3-8, $225
Have you ever wanted to play the nationally known game Dungeons and Dragons? Stretch your imagination telling stories with your friends and building useful creative skills? What about playing the game they do in “Stranger Things?” Well this is your chance! In this class, we’ll be exploring collaborative storytelling through Dungeons and Dragons. Along the way, we’ll develop social and emotional skills that will serve us well outside of the RPG.
CODING: BUILD YOUR OWN APP
June 19-23, 12-3 p.m. Grades 3-8, $225
Have you ever wanted to make your own websites and apps? In this hands-on coding and tech club, you’ll learn the skills of a coder and the mindset of an entrepreneur through building apps—your own app and also an app for local nonprofits. You’ll build apps and games every week in the course and work on real web apps. Previous students have been covered in multiple local news outlets for apps they’ve built for homeless shelters, veterinarians and local climate nonprofits!

Robotics With Lego Code
June 19-23, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 3-8, $225
LEGO builders, come explore the LEGO SPIKE Prime robotics kits as you learn how to build and code your own silly dancing robot, a working safe with password detection, charging rhine and more! Using the LEGO SPIKE Prime robotics kits, Ninjas will learn the fundamentals of how to design, build and code robots. They will also apply their new knowledge of sensors, motors and coding as they construct their creations.
Code Your Own Cartoons
June 26-30, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 1-5, $225
It's time to unleash your creativity and express yourself as a master storyteller. Throughout this camp, you will learn how to code your own animations and imaginative stories! In this camp, ninjas will learn how to express themselves and let their creativity shine through code as they work together to craft silly, scary and exciting cartoons in SCRATCH–a kid-friendly, visual programming language developed by MIT. Throughout this experience, ninjas will level-up their knowledge of basic coding concepts as well as their storytelling abilities.
Lego Python Engineers
July 31-August 4, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 5-8, $225
Robotics adventures await! Join us for a camp full of creativity, fun and collaboration as we introduce your ninja to the worlds of engineering and computer programming using LEGO Education SPIKE Prime set and Python Programming Language. This camp will introduce ninjas to motors, sensors and other robotics hardware that they will use to build, design and code autonomous robots that can think like a human, move like a self-driving car and act like a coach! Ninjas will also learn the fundamentals of Python Programming Language as they program the robot to navigate challenges and complete a variety of tasks.

DAY IN COURT - MOCK TRIAL
July 10-14, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 5-8, $225
Play the roles of judge, defendant, plaintiff, witness, lawyer, bailiff or juror in several mock trials. Learn how to make opening and closing statements, how to phrase objections and how to question witnesses. Pull all your skills together at the end of the week as you participate in a final mock trial based on cases from past national and state-level mock trial competitions.
Model United Nations
July 10-14, 12-3 p.m. Grades 5-8, $225
Become one of the 400,000 students around the world in Model United Nations! Assume the role of an ambassador and represent your country to solve current world issues. Throughout the week students will research a world problem, develop solutions and negotiate consensus with their peers. This program teaches teens and tweens core skills such as research, writing, public speaking, problem solving and conflict resolution. Model UN alumni have gone on to become supreme court justices, world leaders, lawyers and business professionals. No prior experience is needed.
Minecraft Modders
July 17-21, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 3-8, $225
Customize your own Minecraft world and mod the classic game in this one of a kind class. Learn scripting and logic statements as you create your first mods. Students will create a wide variety of new elements, gameplay mechanics and world generating mods to change the way you play Minecraft. Projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students must have the Java version of Minecraft to take this class. Tablet, phone and game console versions of Minecraft are not compatible. Returning students can create more advanced projects, building on previous years' work.
ROBLOX® CODERS & ENTREPRENEURS!
July 17-21, 12-3 p.m. Grades 3-8, $225
Discover the Lua language through a visual block coding system while designing worlds in ROBLOX®, an online universe where you can create anything you dream of. This new class combines game design concepts, coding and fun! Young entrepreneurs will also learn how to navigate ROBLOX’s fast-growing marketplace to publish their games. Student created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to sharewith friends and family.
POKÉMON® MASTERS: DESIGNERS & 3D MAKERS UNITE!
July 24-28, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Grades 3-8, $225
Calling all PokeMasters who want to be the designers of the future! Use your Pokemon imagination and bring your ideas to life. Begin by creating your own digital Pokemon style custom playing card game. Progress onto designing action figures, jewelry and toys in professional level modeling software. Learn how to prepare a model for 3D printing and create a design portfolio to showcase your work! No prior experience is necessary and 3D designs will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family.

Create the next popular animated Minecraft video on YouTube! Practice the same skills professionals at Pixar and Disney Animation Studios use. Discover the process of keyframing and tweening, how to use it to bring your own animated stories to life, and how to publish your content on YouTube. Student projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years.

At Tower Hill’s well-equipped woodshop, campers learn how to properly use woodworking tools while creating projects that match their level of skill. These camps are geared to bring out the inner engineer in all children!

MINDFUL MOVEMENT AND LEARNING FOR AWARENESS, CONNECTION AND RESILIENCE
Tought by Samantha Spruance Diver and Nicole Rafferty, $225 Mindful Movement and Learning is a one-of-a-kind program that combines nature walks, themed yoga and mindfulness activities to improve self-esteem, self-regulation, connection and executive functioning skills. Participants will finish the week with a tool box filled with the skills and strategies for success in the classroom and beyond. No prior experience necessary. Bring a mat, snack and water bottle.
